I've had my flowmaster super 44 for 2 years now on my 1998 f 150. When from 2 cats each side to a single high and 2.5 pipe with the super 44. I've never for one moment ever thought of going back.
So what ur saying is. Just buy a dump for 8 bucks and delete the muffler. Or by the outlaw for 135 bucks and it's 2 ft of pipe. Crazy. Just pay a shop for a custom. Way cheaper.
Seems weird to me that there would be more Hp gains with an axle back over a cat back. Am I dumb? Cat back has more large diameter piping added which I assume would add to the “Hp and Tq gain”.
I purchased the dual axle back Outlaw for my 2 door Wildtrak, and I only kept it on for a week. The drone sound was the worst I have ever heard! I would not recommend this muffler to anyone.

Someone who had a Hellcat with muffler delete and Flowmaster Dual Exhaust which sounded very very loud , this is a walk in the park lol.

Agreed. Further to your question, why do the least aggressive systems from a sound perspective offer the most gains in HP?
Catback will have more hp overall and especially if you have after-market mods like tunes and CAI...
I have the catback outlaw high clearance, would the midpipe be interchangeable with the American Thunder or Flow Ex exhaust?
