Yea it is awesome, it would make a great adventure bike with only one flaw. I'm not a fan of the weight, I would hate to have to pick it up on the trail.
@@SydewayzStan I've seen some tuner shops removing the limiter on these bikes but no high speed runs. I personally would want more down low for a quicker ride. Not a lot of places I can roll into the triple digits. :) nice video though.
Probably depends a lot on the tires. It had street tires on for the demo. Bike cruised just fine over 100. With knobbier tires I assume the steering would float more at high speed
I’ve taken multiple 150mile trips seeing my gf and the bike can easily sit at 100. Comfort wise I generally lock in the cruise control around 85 mph and I’m still on the stock tires.
I think they have a governor from the factory that cuts them off at 110. This demo bike did not, it cut off at 140. The bike could have gone way faster than 140
@@SydewayzStan I've consistently heard 140 including the dealership I bought mine from. Also saw a video of one on a dyno topping out at 160 at just under 10k RPM so we know they are limited to that by gearing, not power. If you remove the limiter and you got the power, or aerodynamics.
My Street Glide would be dancing all over the road. The PA is such a cool bike. Thanks for the video.

it is lite for what it is@@SydewayzStan
this video was perfect. Stright to the point.
Glad you enjoyed it! I know I did!!!
100% this
Super rad! Trading my streetbob for a Pan America
Its a different riding style, less relaxed position. I could see getting sore riding all day compared to a street bob
I got it up to 143 before needing to slow down. That was on street tires.
This demo bike was on street tires also, governor kicked on at 140
What a dream road this is... im so sick of London 😂
Middle of nowhere in Oregon :)
@@SydewayzStan Dream... We have average speed cameras here everywhere
where is this road man?
@@uPilot near Crane, OR in the middle of nowhere
Have you had the bike tuned yet and the top speed limiter removed? Curious how much more it's got in it.
@@thehorrorsociety this was a bone stock bike on a Demo ride out in the Oregon desert. In the video it hits the limiter at 140 mph

Anyone have any info why my pan am special wont go over 110 mph?
It probably has the a speed governor, if you get it tuned they can remove it
@@SydewayzStan i asked the local harley dealership, said they can do no such tune…
pretty quick.
It scoots...I can only get my street glide to about 130 before it wants to tank slap
Ah yours is still limited. I recently did 162 mph (260 kph) on mine. Pretty sure that wasn't all it had either haha
Yea I could tell it still had a lot more. This was a demo bike or else I would have the governor removed
155 Mph is 300 rpm over red line.

How does one remove the limiter?? lol
@@xlxPlykxlxsoftware at dealership, they can tune the engine map for you and remove limiter. Usually you do this when you change exhausts
Is it too noisy?
@@daun123 no, it’s fairly quiet with the stock exhaust
Honest question, whats the highest speed that bike can comfortably cruise at? 90mph, 100mph?
Probably depends a lot on the tires. It had street tires on for the demo. Bike cruised just fine over 100. With knobbier tires I assume the steering would float more at high speed
on stock tires i can go 90 and want have and worries but due police i stay around 70-80

It’s well planted to the ground from 0-140 mph.
Disappointed. That's pretty much what I thought would happen after I did a run to 110 with mine, just looses power once you get so fast.

Mph or kph
MPH lol
😅
My '22 has seen 143
This had plenty of power, it can easily do more than 140 if the governor is removed
162 with the limiter off on a 2024
