Setup this week was tight in turns 3 and 4, hard to pass but was still able to pull of a top 5 finish!

Tried to make it up to Twin Lakes but it was still too early in the season and couldn't make it up by truck but I was able to make it up on my WR450.

Everything went wrong this week. 1st race I got caught up in a wreck on a restart. 2nd and 3rd race I tagged the wall and lost straightaway speed. 4th race I got booted from the server 3 times. Best points I could score was 68 which is terrible. 68 points this week, 2601 for the season. Dropped to 9th in the standings :(

Didn't get as much footage, was having issues with my GoPro freezing again. We also didn't ride as far since we were pretty beat up from the ride to Tyee the day before. Lots of great views again and the walk up to the tower was brutal in MX boots!

Tough track, high track temps so the tires were slick, especially in turn 3. I was able to save just enough fuel to finish the race, had only 0.1 gallons left at the end. 118 points this week, 2533 points on the season and 5th in the standings!

We headed up to the Tyee Lookout and had lunch in Ardenvoir, the final few miles to the lookout was incredibly difficult with sand and loose rocks. Beautiful views!!!

Day 4 and 5 of the GL Trip, attempted the King Mountain route on Saturday but high sided off my bike midway through and decided to go back to camp since my elbow and ribs were badly bruised. I also didn't get as much footage because I forgot to plug the camera into the battery bank and riding home my mic went dead due to the rain. Rode back the whole 535 miles on Sunday.

@@xlxPlykxlxsoftware at dealership, they can tune the engine map for you and remove limiter. Usually you do this when you change exhausts
Honest question, whats the highest speed that bike can comfortably cruise at? 90mph, 100mph?
Probably depends a lot on the tires. It had street tires on for the demo. Bike cruised just fine over 100. With knobbier tires I assume the steering would float more at high speed
on stock tires i can go 90 and want have and worries but due police i stay around 70-80
I’ve taken multiple 150mile trips seeing my gf and the bike can easily sit at 100. Comfort wise I generally lock in the cruise control around 85 mph and I’m still on the stock tires.

This dope. Do you set up your own suspension and gear settings on the car????
The Legends series is a fixed setup series so you can't adjust most things. For open series I use VRS (virtual racing school) for setups because unfortunately I don't have enough time to tune my own setups each week.

Can you use the quest 2 controllers to play or do you need a mouse and keyboard?
You need a mouse and keyboard, gamepad or hotas, but there's a workaround if you want to play with controllers, google "Elite VR Cockpit" (but it's still in early alpha)

is everything set to the highest possible setting here?
I'm running a GTX 1080 overclocked and I can run the Quest 2 at 80 fps, but I had to record with OBS at 30fps since my recordings were getting stutter. It is hard on my GPU so the encoding for the video recording was causing issues.

Runs around 3-4K at freeway speeds. It’s a well balanced motor and likes the high rpms. It’s a great bike

You could of made it if you leaned right before the turn. It seemed like you thought the road kept going straight, but yeah you need to slow down. You never know when a car is going to jump right in front of you. Nice bike, I have a 250 Ninja.

I have a 2015 V Star 950 with Vance and Hines Slip-On Exhaust. No other mods. You're right when you say Slip-On's are "tingy". Mine definitely at certain RPM's becomes very tingy, raspy and almost like a weird loose/rattle sound lol. I love the way your entire setup sounds and I would love to duplicate it exactly! If you don't mind, what exactly do you have? 1) It's the Full System Cobra Speedster Slashdown exhaust yes? 2) Did you add a Fuel Management System or a Fuel Processor? 3) Was it easy to install or did you have to fabricate some parts? 4) Does it still backfire like crazy like with the Slip-On's? 5) Any problems with over-heating or loss of power or spark plug fouling or horrible fuel economy? 6) What happens to the factory installed O2 sensor? 7) Did you add an air intake? gob2003 1. Cobra slashdown full exhaust 2. Power commander 5 (fuel only) 3. No fabrication needed, but it is a tight fit and takes some time to get everything lined up 4. There is a slight gurgling sound on decel, not really much "popping" 5. No problems. Fuel economy is about the same 6. O2 sensor is swapped over to the new pipes 7. I have the cobra powerflo intake. The intake made the huge difference in the top end and makes the bike pull over a wider rpm range. ENJOY!
Did you notice a big power gain with the upgrades?
Josh Miller I didn't notice a big difference with the pipes and tuner. I actually noticed quite a big difference in the top end when I installed the intake.
So I'm not the only one that looks for 6th gear on my 950? lol :)
Dan Metz I have a ninja 650 and I'm more familiar with sport bikes in general so I always am looking far a higher gear haha
My 950 has the cobra slip on. I think i like the sounds of the slash downs alot better!
The full exhaust sounds awesome. The slip ons have a "tingy" sound at certain RPMS
