Why are you complaining about an unfinished version of the game? Why are you equating all camoflage to "Griefing"? You are not coming across a being very knowledgeable of the game.

The video was not meant to complain, but to give constructive criticism and create a discussion with the community to come up with ways to make camouflage better. Intrepid desires feedback into their systems.
I do not think that the camouflage in its current state makes the game fun to play because it is too visible when it shouldn't be, and not visible enough when it could be and tweaking those shader effects is relatively easy to do on the design side.
Not all camouflage is "griefing" but the mindset from a player perspective TENDS to derive from the annoyance of invisibility and camouflage. Players will use that annoyance of the system to grief other players. Much like a tank perma-crowd controlling someone until they are rendered useless can also be a mechanic used as a form of griefing.
I feel there is a way for Intrepid to balance the annoyance of camouflage and ability around distances, cooldowns, and resource management. I gave examples in my video, but they were mostly initial thoughts off the top of my head and not necessarily well-thought out at the time.
Feel free to discuss good or bad about the camouflage system in your point of view and I'll be sure to include it in the community post I create on the Ashes of Creation forums. My guild and I have also started discussions in our discord as well :).

Camo is not the same as invisibility. The closer you are, the more visible you become. And with the bow distance, sniping is less of a concern.
Your phrase of "un-fun" is not logical. The camo and invisibility are a skill and are part of their kit. That is how that class is played in both pve and pvp. No need to change their kit for a specific situation.

Yes, I mentioned that the distance as a way to tweak it to be more fitting. As of right now the shaders on the player-character are too visible at too far a range--thus making it unfun and not intuitive. Using an ability or attacking should definitely reveal the player character as well.
I don't think our opinions are too far apart.
