How I make ROPE HANKS for model ships

Let me show you how you can use this little tool for making rope coils for you model ships. It's super easy to make, but you'll need a milling machine. I use this one amzn.to/3ALiaNd and it's one of the first machines i bought for my workshop.

Once you mastered this though, I believe it is a great tool for making coiled ropes.

Looks like a very handy tool.
I recommend trying an ovoid shape to simulate gravity in scale.

What a great tool ! And clearly a time saver. I've been making hanks with the nail jig method. Making turns and setting them with diluted PVA.... I will make this tool and use for my next set of hanks.
