I saw him on his comedy tour about 4 weeks ago, and he did this bit. Pollack was great, I would recommend anyone with a chance to see him, to go out and see him.
I just found out last year that Kevin went to school directly across from my apartment building. I pictured him from New York, not San Jose. What a talent.
This is absolutely hilarious. I’m a big fan of Alan Arkin and this is a great story about him and Kevin Pollak, who I am also a fan of. His imitation of Alan is spot on.
Love this!.........I came here to listen to Alan's voice because I just read he died. I was aware Kevin impersonated him, and I was hoping to hear his version of Alan.
Alan Arkin has a reputation for being a good natured sweetheart, funny and endearing. But I first became aware of him in 1968 when he played one of the most terrifying villains in film history, Harry Roate Jr. in WAIT UNTIL DARK. It still scares me.
Indian Summer is one of my all time favorite movies...so I guess I was one of the two people who saw it. Thanks Kevin for making it, your character Brad Berman was precious.
That was damn funny!! I was waiting to hear him tell how he called Michael Keaton as Alan Arkin!! The legends that he has worked with. I could listen to his stories and never get bored!!
Loooved Arkin in Argo. Every time I saw his face or heard his name after that movie I instantly thought “Argo F yourself”.😂😂😂😂😂great actor! R.I.P. , thanks for the memories!
This is an incredible impression of Alan Arkin. I used to love him as a child. I still do, but I'm not a child anymore, and I didn't even know he was dead.
People who can do spot-on impersonations are like superheroes . . . or supervillains, using their superpower for Good or Evil. Why is it that Kevin's villainous impersonations of Alan Arkin manage to make me roar with laughter, when . . . "That's not funny" ???
Hey. If anyone out there can do a really good Alan Arkin, please call Kevin Pollaks answering machine and leave a post dated message from Alan from heaven I swear you will have him for at least 9 seconds ❤🤣🤣😂
First thing i thought of when hearing Mister Arkin passed away " Argo f#ck yourself . " I'd love to see the actual Larry King interview . Thank you for posting this .
Kevin Pollak is absolutely fantastic, Frank Calliendo is just as good. There's a comedian named Mike Toomey who does an absolutely perfect Adam West. Adam West and Frank Gorshin met him. Gorshin totally lost it, he couldn't stop laughing!
RIP Alan Arkin
That story makes me laugh every time I hear it. Thanks for posting this.
R.I.P. Alan Arkin. You will be missed.
Kevin Pollak does a superb impression of Peter Falk, but to really do it justice you gotta see him do it. Incredible.
But you can still imagine the hand on forehead, and the wandering eye, on the audio, from the audience responses when he's not talking.
which he does here
Anyone else listening to this over and over? What a bit!
Thanks for posting this. First thing I thought of when I heard of the passing of the great, Alan Arkin. RIP
Same. RIP Alan Arkin
Damn, that is an _amazing_ Arkin! Pollack is so gifted.
I saw him on his comedy tour about 4 weeks ago, and he did this bit. Pollack was great, I would recommend anyone with a chance to see him, to go out and see him.
He owns on stage. Amazing talent.
I've been looking for the bit for over a year. Thanks for posting
My pleasure! Glad you enjoyed/appreciated it!
R.I.P the Fabulous Alan Arkin the guy was the personification of Acting without Acting 😂, what a great actor
I love the painfully protracted pause followed by a quick "Yeah, that's it."
😁
I just found out last year that Kevin went to school directly across from my apartment building. I pictured him from New York, not San Jose. What a talent.
Kevin Pollack is one of the most underrated comedians of all time. This man is so creative and talented
He's NOT underrated. The word "underrated" is useless.
OMG!! I loved Alan in Little Miss Sunshine. Thank you Kevin.❤
That was the funniest thing I’ve heard all week.
That’s it.
he always tormented Mr Arkin LOL RIP
I love both these guys... We need to see and here more of Mr. Pollack
Damn actually made me laugh out loud....very rare these days😂
Indian Summer is one of my favorite 90s movies, I wish more people knew about it.
Yes, great film with a wonderful cast. Don't understand why it gets so little love!
@keithgoode6313 That's the funniest movie I've ever seen! Especially the masking tape!!!😂😂😂😂
Great to see some of Kevin’s great impressions.
This makes me remember Kevin’s great podcast, the Kevin Pollack Chat Show.
He's fantastic. What a talent.
Finally, this sketch was on TV at just for laught for son long and was looking for it for quite sometime without success. Thank you for publishing it
I'm glad you found it and could enjoy & appreciate it like I did!
I actually met him at a film festival. All I could ask him about was the Kevin Pollak impression.
"Yup. He's a crazy guy."
Alan Arkin has a reputation for being a good natured sweetheart, funny and endearing. But I first became aware of him in 1968 when he played one of the most terrifying villains in film history, Harry Roate Jr. in WAIT UNTIL DARK. It still scares me.
His role in little miss sunshine was amazing!
He does an amazing Reiser.
Kevin Pollock is the reason that they invented caller id.
His ability with impressions is a super power
Indian Summer is one of my all time favorite movies...so I guess I was one of the two people who saw it. Thanks Kevin for making it, your character Brad Berman was precious.
Legends never die
This is the funniest post I’ve ever seen, bar none.
This is a true impersonation too, when Kevin does Alan's voice he Looks like him.
I am crying here 😂
Right? Such a great bit!
YES….I Miss You Alan. GOD Give You Rest. Now,?The Ability To Mimic Someone…..Is Hilariously Dangerous.
That was damn funny!! I was waiting to hear him tell how he called Michael Keaton as Alan Arkin!! The legends that he has worked with. I could listen to his stories and never get bored!!
I laughed myself off the chair several times listening to the genius that is Kevin Pollack.
Never listen to this with a full tank.
I could listen to Kevin Pollak tell stories all day
I just laughed my butt off 🤣🤣🤣
"The Russians Are Coming" turned me onto Alan Arkin and I never stopped loving him ❣️💐
“Everybody to get off street “ kills me.
Loooved Arkin in Argo. Every time I saw his face or heard his name after that movie I instantly thought “Argo F yourself”.😂😂😂😂😂great actor!
R.I.P. , thanks for the memories!
I saw him do this live; hilarious stuff 😅
This is an incredible impression of Alan Arkin. I used to love him as a child. I still do, but I'm not a child anymore, and I didn't even know he was dead.
I agree about "The In-Laws."
People who can do spot-on impersonations are like superheroes . . . or supervillains, using their superpower for Good or Evil. Why is it that Kevin's villainous impersonations of Alan Arkin manage to make me roar with laughter, when . . . "That's not funny" ???
Humor before cell phones
I can't believe he mentioned "The In-Laws". If anyone hasn't seen that movie, it's worth looking it up. It's a fantastic movie.
Love Indian summer. True Canadian movie. Still own the dvd
"Kevin... I'd like my soul back."
Really great stories.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Sooo gooooood
Good to hear Arkin had a sense of humour I have heard he could be very intense
his alan arkin is very good
Hey. If anyone out there can do a really good Alan Arkin, please call Kevin Pollaks answering machine and leave a post dated message from Alan from heaven
I swear you will have him for at least 9 seconds ❤🤣🤣😂
First thing i thought of when hearing Mister Arkin passed away " Argo f#ck yourself . " I'd love to see the actual Larry King interview . Thank you for posting this .
Great compilation - KP rules
Alan Arkin: Captain Invincible, The Man of Magnet, The Legend in Leotards, The Caped Contender!
Into the blue!
An impersonating practical joker can be a lethal thing... 😏
As good as Kevin's Peter Falk impression is, his Alan Arkin is FLAWLESS.
Kevin the troublemaker. musta been a terror to his teachers
The Inlaws was a great movie, who could imagine two world class straight men could be this funny! 😊
I'm trying to find the clip from Larry King that he mentioned, no luck. Does anyone have it?
Man is he good.
Alan’s voice and delivery was so distinct
This is literally the funniest thing ever!
ls it Kevin Pollak, or Memorex, or Al? Or the real AA?
My favorite Alan Arkin movie is "Popi". His angst is palpable.
That's actually hilarious😅
Brilliant 😂
Kevin, you are my hero! I love all your stuff, but perhaps my favorite is Chris Walken!
Alan Arkin played a great Unca Lou ❤
Too friggin funny.🤣
I wish there was a clip of the Larry King thing out there.
You can't play a audio of Kevin doing Columbo without the video. It gets completely lost.
The In Laws was hilarious.
yeah, that's it.... LOL
It would be nice to actually see Kevin doing the impression it’s part of the effect.
Pollack is a genius 😂
Serpentine!
I wish someone could find the clip from Larry King
"My work was done"..I'm trying to figure out who he was impersonating when he said that?...
Sean Connery?
Kevin Pollak is absolutely fantastic, Frank Calliendo is just as good. There's a comedian named Mike Toomey who does an absolutely perfect Adam West. Adam West and Frank Gorshin met him. Gorshin totally lost it, he couldn't stop laughing!
Pollak's Arkin is even better than his Falk.
Wrong audience
Sorry Kevin... you're gifted
Gollywood Stars are hyper-sensitive! I met Muhammad Ali; nice guy! Peace. * Cav *
Some one has to post the Larry King episode……..
You need the visuals. Does not work without them.
🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha
🤣
Damn, I didn't know Alan Arkin died.
That's not funny.
Yes it is!😂😂
It would be FUNNY IF the ORIGINAL VIDEO was posted! Why do these scammers amuse so many?
hacky
Audio only? Meh.
That’s not funny.
The stories are funny enough, but I am not that impressed with his Alan Arkin impersonation. It's OK, somewhat close, but not really that convincing.
It's exaggerated, but not as exaggerated as Alan Arkin's. I still think
Arkin did it better.
Pollak is so funny
