STAND "Roosevelt" Flag Pole - Made in China.

- First off this is not a made in the USA product. This is made in China. I bought this through a Facebook promotion pushing the idea that this was a veteran owned and veteran run company. I'm a veteran USAF 20 years so I wanted to support them. The box arrived and for 2 reasons I was let down. First the pole was not double boxed and was torn to pieces with tape covering 1.5ft of exposed pole. Second it was printed on the box, MADE IN CHINA. My pole arrived damaged with bad scratches and marring but STAND refused my RMA. They said since it was still functional they wouldn't replace it. That is bad service. Avoid.
WOW!!! Thanks for the review, before seeing your review I almost bought 3 of these. Now due to them not having the "Due the right thing attitude" I will take my business elsewhere. So sorry for your disappointment. ..... So glad I found your review.
Ditto, received mine today. Box in rough shape, made in China on the box, the hardest part to take was the fact the flag was also made in China!

I as well bought the flag pole because I am a veteran they were a veteran business. I thought I would deal with him so sorry I did had missing parts. Can’t get them to respond to the emails took me from July 2 till September 16 to receive it in the first place. Do not deal with these people. America first.
So much for their Lifetime anodized warranty claim.

Being a Veteran I too was duped by their misleading facebook advertisement. It is NOT made in the U.S.A. and shouldn't be using the Veteran association to sell this product. Mine also arrived dented on the bottom section. Poorly packed! The 2nd section won't extend all the way due to the dent. I blame myself for not checking the reviews first. I thought I was supporting an American made Veteran owned business!
Wish I’d found your video first. Purchased same model, under same impression that it was made in America. NOT. Huge made in China on the box. Then assembly required ME to re-drill 2 of the 4 holes. Typical of China manufacturing. The solar light, SUCKS. Charged it for days in bright sunlight, it died out in less than a week! When I emailed this ‘veteran’ owned company they said thanks we’ll pass your review along. No support. The only thing STAND does well is make veteran owned businesses look bad.

Maybe the company will learn that replacement costs are less than the cost of a disgruntled customer on RUclips.

Same here. The box was beat to hell and all the hardware was missing. Lots of a scratches on the pole. They’re supposed to be sending the missing hardware. It’s been a week. Not holding my breath they will be prompt sending it.

Wish I had seen this video before I purchased mine. I was under the impression it was American made, but to my surprise when the box arrived it displays "Made in China". So disappointed. I will need to do better research when purchasing items on the internet. If you want American made, then don't purchase this.
it is really hard to find items made in America many will say ships from USA.
I did not have shipping damage issues like others I have read about so no complaints there. However, I had a different issue. The ball and top piece threads were not even able to thread together. I re-tapped the threads and was able to screw them together but those who do not have that specialized tool would be unable to fix the problem. I too made the assumption it was an American made product and was so disappointed when the box came and it was stamped in bold lettering "Made in China", hence the quality issue. I emailed the company and politely voiced my displeasure and disappointment. I was given the expected response about trying to keep the costs low and offer a good product. In retrospect, I should have known because it was one of the most affordable (cheap) products on the web. An once of research would have revealed why. Good things aren't cheap. Cheap things aren't good. I would be willing to spend more for a truly American MADE product.
Flag pole, Made in China, Light made in China and flag advertised to come with it Made in China. Overall good condition, not sure if it will last. Had I known it was Made in China I certainly would have continued to look elsewhere and certainly will when this one fails..
Besides it being made in china is it a good sturdy flag pole
we received this as a gift and the halyard did not match up with the holes on the pole. seems too flexible even after tightening each sleeve. guess we will see 🤷♀️
I got one of these as well. I was shocked it was made in China. I did not have shipping damage. All things considered it looks good, but can't tell if it will last the long term.
Yeah that really chapped my hide when I seen that made in China stamped on the box.
Well gentleman I hope you both learned a lesson from this Made in China purchase you made. Research a bit more. There are too many great United States of America made flags & flagpole companies out there for you to choose from. Stand isn’t one of them. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🦅🦅💙💙

Was originally going to order this but I think I'm going to go with Colonial flag. Since they seem to be legit about flag care, and their flagpoles seem to be made in America.
Colonial flag is an awesome company. They take perfect care of my flag and have decent prices. The make there flagpoles right in there company showroom.
Same my box arrive ripped in half. Instructions for sleeve installation is just a damn picture With no dept and with dimensions , which forces ppl to go watch a video of a person pouring concrete. Haven’t put it up yet so let’s hope this shit holds up in a derecho storm
My Pole is in good condition.I also thought that this was an American owned, veteran owned company. I have not installed my Pole yet because the hardware, ball on top and solar light has not arrived. It must come in two separate boxes.
Mine came with the ball top in the same box with the rest of the hardware but the light did come separate. So far my pole is holding up pretty good here in Wichita, KS. We've had a few good storms that pushed 60mph winds.

I ordered one last week, they are deceptive, I think it is just a guy t a computer and it gets shipped out from somewhere else.

I order the Rosevelt kit with the Upgraded Flag on July 1st.
3 monts later, the seams we giving out and I have about an 6" tear at the seams, (getting longer every day)
I sent pictures to Calvin and Gilbert at Stand, and they said "Wear and Tear is not covered under the warranty"
and are refusing to replace the flag.
They did offer a small token discount if I would order another one.
It seams to me the Flag should last more than 4 mounths.
The sad thing is nylon American flags last normally about 4 to 6 months standard you you just buy a polyester flag that will last you for probably more than a year
That really sucks they wouldn't warranty the flagpole!! I bought the smaller version and like you was not happy it was made in China! Mine did arrive un- damaged though!

Titan telescoping flag poles, made in the U.S.A. Had mine for 3 years now and am thoroughly pleased. Costs twice as much as this Roosevelt flag pole, but judging from the reviews and life, you get what you pay for. ☝️🥴🇺🇸
I guess an American flag on a Chinese pole just about says everything.

I bought my kit in July of 2021, the included flag is garbage 7 months later it is shredded and frayed I contacted them and was giving the same response as other they don't warranty anything unless its broken and then it would be there opinion as to if its warrant-able. They did send me a link to a flag on there site I could buy to replace the one that came in my kit (they don't get it)
I like the pole put I would look elsewhere to get this knowing what I know now.

I guess Colonial flagpole, or maybe even some made by Annin Flagmakers. Annin is the one who's flags are on the moon btw.

I have messaged STAND Flagpoles and they said they won't guarantee it but they will try for 100% American Made products with the FMAA and Valley Forge.
My Box Came Open too😡....Haven’t inspected Pole as of Yet but will be pissed if there are dents as I waited 40 days for this item to arrive. I’m On the Horn with Stand. The Open Box and 40 Days are Really Unacceptable.

If that post is that bad why did you put it in? My wife bought me one and thought it was made in America and it wasn't. Made in China. But it's my choice whether or not to put it in. Not quite sure all the belly aching
I purchased one of you Rosevelt Flag pole kits, It took weeks to get to me, even though your site claims 3 to 5 day's to my area, and to make matters worse... the only thing that arrived was the 25' pole.. Nothing else.. You have a poor customer service.. and poor quality product .. ""Buyers Beware""
I was amazed to find that even the American flag that comes with the flag pole was made in china!😡
I bought one also thinking it was made in the USA and the 100mph is a myth mine bent at a 45 degree angle in a storm that had 65mph winds. Midwest storm that wasn't expected. I had to cut 5 feet off of it so I had a straightish flag pole again. Chinese made crap.
Stand flag pole company is a JOKE! Complete scam. Ordered the 25’ on June 11th and still haven’t received it. Worst customer service also.
