You did a great job. By the way i had to change my name on here, it used to be Ruger 308. Keep these kind of videos coming, from time to time I go back and watch the ones that you have done in your basement and also just shooting videos . They are all very enjoyable!
Tom, great one. As a third generation US Army Infantry vet, thanks. My grandfather fought the entire Pacific campaign as an infantry NCO so I appreciate the WWII tribute.
Thank you, and thank you and your family for their Service to this great country. I really do like the black look, kind of sets it off from others. Take care!
Looks good Tom! I have a 25 footer at the house too to go up in the backyard this spring that'll be pulling double duty as a mega Christmas light tree during the holidays! Have fun with the spring trip... I'm sitting at camp now... 60 and sunshine yesterday, snowing and blustery today. Gotta love north central PA weather.
Thanks Kris! I saw the Christmas accessory for it, also a pretty nice Halloween one too. And yes, sounds exactly like NCPA weather. Hopefully it will pretty nice for the Spring Trip. Take care!
Hey Tom, Great to see the flagpole going in to honor our country and all those who have served to protect it. I also fly our colors 24/7/365 with lighting here in SC. A quality flag will last for sure. Looking forward to your Spring trip coming up. Take care and stay safe!
Thank you very much, it is really a simple project, but turned out very well. More backyard work to do, may have another chat around the new fire-pit when that gets completed. Hope all is well there, take care!
Good to see you guys . Nice job on the flag pole it looks great ! Should last many years . Our ground up here is still frozen but it won't be for long . Hoping all the lads have had a good winter and looking forward to the spring trip video. Take care and until next time RITP's !
Thanks 👍Turned out very nice, I really like the black look with the gold. Really sets it off. More work today for a while out there, moved the old fire pit, and a few other things. Will give an update during the spring trip or before. Take care Ian, RITPs!
Hey Tom, we have a flag pole in our back yard as well. We've had it about two years. The flag is a sewn canvas cloth. Holding up well, still looks brand new. Enjoy your spring trip to the cabin.
Nice job! Great tribute to the WW2 vets. My father walked shore patrol in Rehoboth Beach with his German Sheppard named Blitz in the USCG during the war.

PA guy here. The fish commission stocks golden rainbows. (palomino/etc - variations of the same white/gold concept but technically different fish.). No special tactics to catch them than what you’d use on standard rainbows because they are rainbows themselves. The best advice is to fish for them asap after stocking, because just like regular fish they do eventually seem to smarten up after a few failed attempts to land them. That’s my understanding and experience. My greatest fishing story involves a 24” golden that was really too big for the stream it was put in. It was a ways back in a wooded section of creek, mid season, low fishing pressure. My dad and brother were with me but I was a hole ahead and stayed quiet after seeing a glowing monster in the water. After a few failed attempts to set the hook when I literally watched it take my bait, I finally hooked it. I yelled, they came over in time to see the fish jump several feet out of the water and smack back down loudly. I’ll never forget my dad’s dinner plate sized eyes connect with mine while saying nothing out loud. What could he say? 🤣. Have fun at camp thanks for the vids!
Thanks for the info, yes, I said Albino by mistake, we normally call them Palominos, but Golden is the correct term for them. Just got back from the trip last Monday, was pretty rainy there all week, but what can you do. Sounds like you hooked a beauty there, must have been fun with your Dad and brother there. Take care and good luck this year.
Rook- the flag and pole look great. Thanks for including us in the installation. Looking forward to the spring trip and work on your field. Might there be some farm implements coming?
Thanks, looks good, the Eagle for the top just arrive today. Will see what I can do for the field this year. Will do a few things in the old landing area, and on my trail during the Spring Trip. I have to talk with the people that rent the equipment up there in Mansfield. We do need to get some things done.
Today I thought about the chairman a lot. Mike is tough but I liked the care and gift you and Mrs gave. I just lost my younger cousin Sean ....it terrible but he never got over my uncle Jimmy's death when he was younger. He never took to drugs but drank and it 5ook him early it seems. So close attention to Mike. Its my prayer here in the war zone with my own dad. Plus ....listen. any young man would be blessed to call you dad. SEAN YOURS. He is spreading his wings. God is with him. Take care
Always a good day to see a video from you Tom. I'm not surprised you installed such a nice flagpole. It looks great! Can't wait for the spring trip to the cabin. I've been following sintax77 in his travels out west. Any chance he will make it back for the spring fling at the cabin? Ron
Yes you did take it easy on him. Less clothes during the Spring trip to show what may have occurred over the winter months. Take care! PS. bust him, even if he looks good, Mike and I get a kick our of your comments.
It is holding up great. My neighbor just put the Airforce version up a week ago. Kind of funny you asked. I just ordered another for the front yard. I will arrive tomorrow. Will put it in as soon as the heat drops a bit. As I mentioned in the video, the flag is a little disappointing, but a nice one can be had for under $15. So yes, happy enough to order another. Take care, and good luck if you get one.
@@whiterook85 great to here ya was looking at getting something better than the harbor freight ones this looks like it . been a long time follower of the channel also sintax 77 keep up the great videos take care .
Very well, flag is fading a bit as I thought it would. No issues during the resent storm. I ended up putting another one (same version) in the front yard.
Hi 😉I hope you’re having a great week. Lena here from Kalkal I sent you an email about boot cooperation a few days ago. We think the waterproof & anti-slip rubber boot will be a great helper for you when you are outdoors. We will be happy to send you free samples of boots I look forward to working with you in the near future. Please let me know if this is of interest to you.

Thanks Jeff, it will be here soon. Take care!
I did this and had to put long bolts through the bottom of the pole to give the cement something more to stick to.
Good idea.
GREAT INFO. Mine to go in soon !
Glad it was helpful! Good luck with it, I put another in out front a few months later.

I have never fished albino trout but my go to lure for speckled trout is tasmanian devil lures, they are amazing
Will have to check them out, thanks! What color combo do you use? Seems like there is a lot to choose from.
Awesome 🇺🇸
you dont often see a screen door on the garage nice work
Put that in shortly have we moved in. Great in the Spring and Summer to keep open.
Very nice! Of course, it's not a project unless there's at least three trips to Home Depot

Up here in SE PA we call them Palomino Trout.
Think I may have messed up the name, you are right, any tips are welcome.
@@whiterook85 at least that's what all the old timers used to call them back when I was a kid, not saying you're wrong.
Great video. I didn't comment on fat boy in the Deer Camp video because he really isn't in it that much. But hey, there's always trout season.
Yes you did take it easy on him. Less clothes during the Spring trip to show what may have occurred over the winter months. Take care! PS. bust him, even if he looks good, Mike and I get a kick our of your comments.
Trout love shrimp. When I go up to the White River in Arkansas, I'll hit my 15 limit in less than an hour.
What kind of shrimp do you use, something like small salad shrimp. Thanks for the tip!
Just the small to medium walmart frozen shrimp.
Raw shrimp....A bag used to be like 5 or 6 bucks.
Thanks, heading there tomorrow will take a look.
Those roots burn slow and hot. and only take about a week in the sun to dry out. Different root structure...
Thanks for the info, they are in the backyard waiting for a nice fire.
Nice❤😊
Thanks 🤗

Thank you, think it looks good.
Oh Hell yeah 😂😅
Thanks Harvey!
