two things that i always notice about your band: when any of you are performing, you look like you are so into the moment and enjoying yourselves; and, more remarkably, all of you seem to genuinely enjoy when someone else in the band is having a great moment.
I love that each of you ladies have your own range. Pick the voice that's best for the song and all compliment each other. That's true teamwork and talent.
I know it sounds corny and cliché when people comment that one of your songs is fantabulous and the highlight of their day....but I'm really sincere when I tell you: "This song was FANTABULOUS and the highlight of my day!" :)
I have seen a couple of comments recently on this song that indicate that people don't believe this is live. The group has made it clear when the songs have not been live, and I believe in the integrity of all of the members of the band that if they say it's live, it's live.
Saw them at Silver Dollar City, if I remember right I think it was even just a rehearsal, and it was obviously live but they didn't sound it at all. They're just that good!
I'm not one to usually comment on videos but I need to say that in this time of uncertainty and chaos its a blessing to shut out the world and just immerse myself in your music. All of you are awesome! Thank you for being you.
No kidding. My rock hard heart softens, and tears flow emotionally listening to these lovely people. Music. Love. The future is bright and full of hope and good life.
I also very rarely leave a review ... But here is another matter - they are magicians and work wonders with their music! I am delighted with this talented family and Emmett slide guitarist! I get real spiritual pleasure when I listen to their performance. They opened up many new musical colors for me. I'm getting to know American culture. Their creativity brings Light and Joy! I found out about them by chance, but now they have a loyal fan in Russia!
Nothing like three-part harmony when it has that special DNA that only siblings can have. The Petersens version is "so right" I think I'd rather listen to it over any other I've heard. Special song, special rendition with perfect timing and excellent instrumental accompaniment. Great acoustics and recording quality too!
Yes....they have their own show in Branson. You have to hear Ellen Petersen Haygood singing at her church in Branson, Missouri! Just amazing singing! ruclips.net/video/IwH046Rjz9Q/видео.html
I traveled to Western NC from the westcoast. To see my son. It was serious culture shock. I fell in love with it. Bluegrass has made me see people and life so differently.
Unfortunately a lot of people refer to anything between the west coast and east coast as fly over country. I have live in CT nearly my whole life but was born in Colorado, and have spent a lot of time in VA, Texas, New Mexico, some time in KY, NC, SC and everywhere in between. In my opinion the people from the west or south are hard working, honest, genuine and embody traditional American values. I love them.
Katie and Emmett's back and forth during the instrumental - masterful musicianship! Along with Ellen's beautiful lead and the girl's perfect harmonies....words just aren't enough.
You really struck gold with Aaron Clark, too. His videography really supports what you are doing and showcases these amazing live performances beautifully.
Fabulous. This talented group came into my RUclips feed. Now, I am hooked and subscribed. I was feeling kind of down and a little dose of their angelic voices has altered my mood. Thank you.
I am a country music fan from India. And I thank the RUclips algorithm to bump me into your channel. And, guess what I am on a loop. Soothing and serene are the adjectives that come to my mind. Wonderfully done, each and every song. Keep up the good work.
I feel so fortunate that I stumbled across this family. The combined talent of all of them is nearly incomprehensible. The girls all sing with such grace. They dont try and overdo it because they dont have to. I have been replaying all of their videos for multiple days. Just perfection.
@@jamesdolan4042 yes. most artists actually like seeing people do various versions of their songs. They aren't trying to steal it and call it their own. That would be totally different.

Thank you for gifting us so richly with your music and with your personalitys ♥ God bless the whole Petersens Family include Emmett! :)
Agree, but don't forget Matt's Amarillo By Morning. I hope that one makes their Branson shows. That boy runneth over with talent, and that song was an extra measure of smooth and done perfectly.
I have no words to express how moved I am when I hear you three singing together. You Petersens spread so much love, harmony and confidence, it needs much, much more of it. I thank you, wish you good health especially in the present difficult times and send you loving greetings from Germany 💕🌹🙏🙋♂️

I like this version very much, too. I also think it is better than Stevie Nick's, but we all have different preferences. The (Dixie) Chicks also did a very fine cover version of Landslide, which I also like very much.
....I have been involved in music my whole life, and I just love this group and what they are doing. When I think of what makes America " great".....I think of THIS !!
I'd love to be a fly on the wall sometime when you all are working out your arrangements. The interplay between Katie's fiddle and Emmett's dobro on the break is purely delightful.
I just recently discovered you guys here on RUclips. My parents had a country/bluegrass band for many years growing up... Best fun and memories of my whole life as I am 53 now. Whenever they had a gig, I was always asked to come on stage and sing a solo. Again, very much treasured memories.... YOUR FAMILY IS AMAZING👍😍!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!! BLESSINGS, LOVE, AND LIGHT TO EACH OF YOU 👏❤
After not having Ellen on lead vocals for awhile I forgot just how beautiful her voice is, it's like she is singing in resonance, by that I mean she has that ringy pingy vocal that makes the notes fill the room and hang in the air -- and the voice seems to transcend the body...
Hi Petersens, I just thought you might like to know that we are planning on playing your version of this song at my nephew's funeral next week. He died suddenly and tragically at age 20, and your version of the song really helps. Thank you.
Another absolutely transcendent, awe inspiring arrangement from the Petersen family. The 3 part harmonies from the Petersen women are just staggering. The sound of their voices together is arresting and nothing short of spectacular. The dobro and fiddle interplay in the instrumental section was just beautiful to listen to and clearly a carry over of the chemistry from their duet performances. This one is an outright gem! Bravo, Petersens!!
My favorite version of this song. Everything from the instrumentation, harmonies, and lead vocals were perfect. I’m always impressed by your performances. The Fleetwood Mac version of “Landslide” was one my sister’s favorite songs of theirs and always reminds me of her when I hear this song. Thank you.
This is the most beautiful song and video ever. Absolute peace and tranquility watching this. I want to snuggle up in a blanket and hear the amazing vocals, violin and the whole instrumental set. Amazing.
The recent recordings have been top notch... priceless even. Especially moma's bass having more presence. Get it momma! Great playing and singing everyone.
Three of the most beautiful spirits on the Lake. Your smiles make everyone smile along with you! Thanks to your entire family which obviously includes Emmet. Very nice setting as well.
Tremendous. Not just a good vocal pulling off the song. This is a proper engaged emotional performance of it. Not just anyone can do that. Always impressed when I come here.
Julianne has an impressive vocal range...singing a lower harmony here, and then those high notes at the end of Fields Of Gold. All three girls have beautiful vocal talents.
In this time of rage and death, we need to be reminded how much beauty is hidden in the must unexpected places. Stepped on one of your videos by pure chance - Country roads take me home - and I barely could believe that such grace and beauty and harmony could still exist in this world. It was only last week, and I’m captured. All my love and blessing from Naples, Italy.
This one is really very good. There are so many little nuances going on in the tune that are so wonderful. From Julianne's softly and slowly scratching the time signature on her mandolin, to Katie's fiddle answering Emmett's riffs during his slide solo. But the thing that really gave me goosebumps were the 3 part "Uh Oh" harmonies where Katie answers Ellen in her soprano and then Julianne answers Katie in her alto. I audibly cried out "WOW" after I heard that while sitting here all by myself in front of my laptop. Yeah... You gave me goosebumps. The production of this rendition of Landslide was so well thought out and executed. As a band you truly made the song your own. I can clearly see now after the last few posts that as a unit you are all getting better and better. The band has reached a higher level you all had not yet attained when I first discovered your channel. The idea's you're coming up with are top notch... Dare I say... World class? Yeah... I dare to say it. I love it when the body of a song can give me goosebumps... because those goosebumps help me to gauge the core excellence in a song. I trust my goosebumps... And I truly love and respect you people with all my heart. May God bless each and every one of you. Take care. sincerely, Dean O. :-I

It is my therapy when I am going through a difficult time, just listen to any music by The Petersens that peace of mind returns and I can solve or find the best solution to the problem. My most sincere feeling of gratitude to all The Pertesens and to those who help you shine for the world.
I don’t think my heart was adequately prepared for just how amazing and beautiful this version of one of the greatest songs to ever be in existence is. I hope that makes sense. This is just so wonderful and has to be the BEST version of Landslide. Words can’t describe how much this version means to me. Be still my heart.
I found this group some months ago and I love listening to the beautiful harmonies. I always listen at night when I lay down to sleep. Once they are done I go right to sleep. So peaceful…..,
AWESOME! I'm a hardcore Stevie fan and I rarely like any other versions of her music if it isn't Stevie herself. You Killed It! Can't stop listening to your version LOVE LOVE LOVE IT
Fabricio Medeiros ......anything Katie wears is beautiful and immediately enhanced by her presence ( Katie you are a mischievous stirrer and you know it......’). Emmet and the whole family are a gift from God too this world.....I love it when we see mum shows a glimpse of her personality and love to.
Oh heavens, this is sooo beautiful. The harmonies, the playing of every instrument, the way that everyone looks. I can’t get over how fabulous it is to watch and listen to you all. Many, many thanks 🙏
Very nice. Talented singers/musicians. I used to be able to sing some, but could never play, and definitely not both together. I can imagine all the years of practice to achieve this level of skill. Kudos one and all.
So beautiful. To me, they are stars because they are humbled by one another. Not seeking the spotlight. So much talent but there is no flaunting. Thank you for sharing.
I think Julianne was smiling to herself as she sang the line "I'm getting older too." 😉 Enjoyed this video as I have all the others. Thanks for the great reason to smile on a cloudy day in NJ!
Agree.... it's always amusing to hear young ones sing lyrics about "in all my days" or "doing it forever". A few like Julianne are wise to the irony and her eyes can't help give that away. I hope she never loses that personality reaction to what she sings because it's truly special.
So very beautiful. The song was written for you in its raw form. You took it and gave it back in the form of a beautiful butterfly taking nectar in the warmth of the summer sun. ❤
This whole family is extremely talented. Everything I've seen by y'all is nothing short of compelling... hypnotic even. Please continue your great performances.
The happiness and exuberance of this family is genuine and irresistible - to me, they're impossible not to love. Also appreciate the supportive bass playing by Karen and Katie's joyful smile. Making the world a better place, one song at at time!
*LYRICS - Landslide*
------------
I took my love and took it down
Climbed a mount'n an' I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills
Well, the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love?
Can this child within my heart rise above?
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides?
Can I handle the seasons of my life?
Uh oh, uh oh, uh ohhh
Uh oh, uh oh, uh ohhhhh
Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder, children get older
And I'm getting older too
Well...
Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder, children get older
And I'm getting older too
So take this love and take it down
Yeah, an' if you climb a mount'n and you turn around
And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills
Well, the landslide brought me down
And if you see my reflection in the snow-covered hills
Well, maybe
Well, maybe
Well, maybe
Ooh, the landslide will bring you down

Oh that is such a beautiful rendition of the Fleetwood Mac song! You guys are just the absolute tops! Thank you for sharing your version of this classic song with us.
You guys are Gods way of letting the world know that beauty and grace still exist in this time. I would love nothing more than to just sit on the porch and listen to you all for days ! God bless you all..
I'm cannot translate the wonderful feeling I feel when listening to the Petersens.
This one by Foxes and Fossils was almost as good too. ruclips.net/video/V2N7gYom9-A/видео.html
Incredibly well done, and the harmony is brilliant. I didn't think this song could climb beyond Stevie, but somehow you all did it.
Can't stop listening to your version LOVE LOVE LOVE IT
Beauty and Talent. Never a bad combination...
Gorgeous!! 😭I’m speechless. Katie waving at end was icing on the cake. I feel like the UPS guy 😍
Haha, that's pretty funny!
cerise sur le gateau in french
Fabricio Medeiros ......anything Katie wears is beautiful and immediately enhanced by her presence ( Katie you are a mischievous stirrer and you know it......’). Emmet and the whole family are a gift from God too this world.....I love it when we see mum shows a glimpse of her personality and love to.
Fabricio Medeiros ......actually she was just waving too me in Australia....👋👋💖💕🤩
reminds me of Ellie Mae Clampett.
You captured the pure poetic vulnerability of this song. Your harmonies and tones are incredible.
Came back ro watch this one again. There are no words...you are ALL incredible!
Best version ever!
Oh heavens, this is sooo beautiful. The harmonies, the playing of every instrument, the way that everyone looks. I can’t get over how fabulous it is to watch and listen to you all. Many, many thanks 🙏
You guys just amaze me I'm so happy I discovered you!! And I'm sending your love to all my friends. Please keep the beautiful music coming
This young talented music artist group, keeps climbing up my charts as one of my faves.
A truly blessed family and a blessing to everyone that gets to hear their pure sound.
Instant subscriber! Where has this family been hiding? Wholesome young American talent - Wow!
You guys are one of the most beautifull humans I ever sein in my life.
WIth your good souls makes it easier to forget tuff times.
Obrigado guys
I have listened to this 1000 times. Pure beauty. It lets me forget the world for a few minutes. Thank you
i LOVE the petersens! i have a feeling they are about to break through to a huge mainstream level! please don't ever change!
please change...your clothes 🤪
I think Julianne was smiling to herself as she sang the line "I'm getting older too." 😉 Enjoyed this video as I have all the others. Thanks for the great reason to smile on a cloudy day in NJ!
Agree.... it's always amusing to hear young ones sing lyrics about "in all my days" or "doing it forever". A few like Julianne are wise to the irony and her eyes can't help give that away. I hope she never loses that personality reaction to what she sings because it's truly special.
Their voices are awsome. I can sit and listen to them singing for hours.
The mic discipline of the violin player is amazing for someone that young!
So very beautiful. The song was written for you in its raw form. You took it and gave it back in the form of a beautiful butterfly taking nectar in the warmth of the summer sun. ❤
I keep coming back to this one. The harmonies are just gorgeous.
This whole family is extremely talented. Everything I've seen by y'all is nothing short of compelling... hypnotic even. Please continue your great performances.
What I see and hear is a very talented and wholesome family I hope and pray that you continue as a group. That’s your strength and power.
The happiness and exuberance of this family is genuine and irresistible - to me, they're impossible not to love. Also appreciate the supportive bass playing by Karen and Katie's joyful smile. Making the world a better place, one song at at time!
Your comment is like poetry.
Who else loves mom in the back plucking that bass?? Good, good stuff.
The heartbeat of the band ❤️
Me. She is always in the background - but the more important she is as well
She's great haha - just doing her thing at the back 😄
She's great
Mom did the Universe A Greater Good by these Angels, Twanks Mom, Love Pete's 💘
Beautiful arrangement/rendering of Stevie Nicks...Thank you for singing it with such heart-felt passion/compassion
