Hey, Ty. Fellow Tennessean here. I live in Kingsport, so I'm close to all the phenomenal rides of northeastern TN, southwestern VA, and Kentucky. The Triangle is about 220 miles, if memory serves. I also like the Snake. I have a long list of fantastic rides pretty much right outside my front door here in Kingsport, and I love that! I've been in 49 states and Tennessee is the best riding I've ever experienced. There are phenomenal rides all across the nation, but I like this area the best. If I had to choose a second favorite, it would be the mountains of southern California. Lived and rode there for about 13 years. That would be a close tie with Utah. It's all good!! Thanks for sharing your journey!! It just never gets old!!
Hey Timothy! No doubt. It's been a few years for me too, but I'm hoping to make the trip this summer. Thank you very much for watching! I appreciate your time today!
Hi Jim. Yeah, I'm hoping to be able to go back to Brushy Mountain Penitentiary this riding season. I've never been on the tour, but we did stop by the gift shop. Thanks for watching!
Been riding since 1970. HD guy now. Never understood when on a beautiful road why some riders want to go like a MOTOGP race…SLOW DOWN..take in the sights. Enjoy the ride….
I thought that prison looked familiar. We saw it when trail riding about 15 years ago. I had to leave my 4runner over night out there that night. Came back with the trailer next day.
Brushy Mountain is very creepy after dark for sure. I'm hoping to go back again this Spring/Summer. Thank you very much for watching! I appreciate your time today!
Nice video Ty, we have ridden the Triangle twice and it is an amazing ride. I like it better than the Dragon just because the traffic is a lot less. Thanks for another good video. Keep safe bro.
It looks like a great ride. There's a road here in California that I ride occasionally, it's a long distance from my house. North of San Francisco is Hwy 1 a long over 100 miles of hills and curves, but last 19 miles is very tight and the distance between corners is short or non existent. There are no sweepers and one somewhat straight section of about 2 miles somewhere in the middle. You really need to focus, especially at a brisk pace.
Dang man. I'm pretty sure I've heard others talk about Hwy 1. It sounds like a lot of roads we have over our way here in TN. Maybe one day I'll get to check it out. Thanks for the comment, Ted. I appreciate your time today and thank you for watching!
Excellent video, Ty...looks like a great ride on a great bike! Cool tour. We had a closed down penitentiary when I was a kid me and some friends explored it---weirdness! Love those roads, man! Mighty tight!
I know dude! I'm going back soon and going inside for the tour. We just made a super quick pit stop but I want to go back for the full day next time around.
Last year we did a good portion of The Devil's Triangle. We didn't get to do the 330 part but we did the 62 and 116 parts and I think it was one of (if not) my favorite ride ever! It was so much fun. I tried to explain it to a friend and the best way I could describe the Devil's Triangle was bipolar. Certain parts give you a false sense of security, it's calm and relaxing than all of a sudden it gets angry! lol. Would love to go back again! Oh and the prison looked cool.
That's exactly right! The turns seemed very deceptive! It was a great day of riding and I hope to go back soon. I really appreciate your time and thanks for checking out the channel!
It’s a great area over there. Some really cool roadside attractions along the way too. I hope you get to go soon and thank you very much for watching!!
I have ridden the entire triangle as well as both directions on the Dragon. If you can ride the triangle then you can ride anything. Far more of a challenge than the Dragon. My entire ride on the triangle we saw 4 cars and 1 bike, but people do live on the route so beware of driveways.
TDT is a good ride, the road seems to be rough, there are stretches that have a lot of driveways and loose gravel 2 sides of the triangle are boring at best... 116 is a fun road to ride and there are other good roads in the area you just have to look for them. I haven't been since the prison opened I'm looking forward to going back to do the tour and lunch....
Hi Donny! The last time I went to there was when I filmed this video and I do remember the roads being rough from place to place. Thanks for watching and please consider subscribing if you like the content. I appreciate your time today!
The devil's triangle is one of those roads that you have to ride while you're down in the Murrayville tail of the dragon area very challenging 180 switch backs into inclines very challenging period I got a kick out of. All the churches strategically placed along the road with the idea that no one could build a bar along that route. Very good idea, drinking and riding. The devil will certainly get you an appointment with that despicable character for sure..😅
Best ride in the east! Do it in the opposite direction as Ty did. Video does not capture the exhilaration of this ride. Experienced riders only need apply. Enjoy
It's been a while since I've been to the Devil's Triangle, but I think I need to go back soon. I remember that being a fantastic ride. Thanks for watching!!
With all due respect, I didn't see anything that would make me think the Devil's Triangle was more of a "ride" than the Tail of the Dragon. Just my own opinion....
Hey Jeffrey. I don't disagree with you. It's been a few years since I've been to the Triangle. Hoping to go back this Spring/Summer. Take care sir and ride safe!

Thanks for your comment! It's great to hear from a fellow Tennessean who shares the same love for motorcycle rides in our beautiful state.
Been there once several years ago. Memorable ride for sure. Those double switchbacks were insane!
Hey Timothy! No doubt. It's been a few years for me too, but I'm hoping to make the trip this summer. Thank you very much for watching! I appreciate your time today!
Thanks for the ride along and video. I did that ride in 17 for Tennessee hog rally in cookeville tn.we went in the prison for a tour

That's what I think too. I love to take my time and take it all in. Thank you for watching!
At the rock yard, there is an old abandoned train you can check out. I myself like cruising around the Devil's Triangle. I liked your video too.
That sounds really cool. I’ll have research this. Sounds like a ride I need to take soon. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for taking us along!!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
It was a very pretty ride. So much I couldn't even get on the video. Talk to you soon!
Always beautiful in that area. I ride that be like I do the dragon with caution.
Nice video Ty, we have ridden the Triangle twice and it is an amazing ride. I like it better than the Dragon just because the traffic is a lot less. Thanks for another good video. Keep safe bro.
Those switch-backs are something else man! Yeah, there is A LOT less traffic for sure! Thank you for watching very much!
I definitely like the blue street glide color.
Hey Joe! I loved that bike. It was a 2020 Tahitian Teal SG. Such a great bike. Thanks for watching!!
Great ride. I’ve never been on the Triangle but will have to give it a try next time I’m in the area. Thanks for sharing.
You will love it. I hope you get to ride it someday.

Great advice, it’s awesome to ride a road like that at your own pace and skill level. It looks like you had a beautiful adventure, ride free.
Thank you sir. Much appreciated!!
Great video! This is one of many roads on the bucket list.
SinisterClutch If you get the chance, dooooo it! Thanks for watching!!
Great video and a nice ride. I enjoy visiting old prisons. Ride Safe
Thank you sir. I'm hoping to go back and do the tour! I appreciate your support of the channel!!
Looks like a fun road...but definitely one you want to go where you're comfortable. At least till you're familiar with it
It was a great ride, but you better take your time on some of those turns!
Yeah it is definitely no fun trying to ride at someone else's pace. Cool shot with the drone. Thank you for the ride along... be well and ride safe.
Thanks for watching. That was a fun day of riding. I hope to go back one day soon!
Excellent video, Ty...looks like a great ride on a great bike! Cool tour. We had a closed down penitentiary when I was a kid me and some friends explored it---weirdness! Love those roads, man! Mighty tight!
Thank you very much sir! Those switch-backs were tricky to navigate for sure!
Great riding down there, it is on my destination ride list. Stay safe
I bet you would love it! I hope you get to go sometime soon...
@@TyFromTennessee next year hitting Kentucky the dragon slayer, so I'm sure I'll be able to
That looked like a fun group ride.
The shot of the penitentiary was very Stranger-Things-Esque - very cool.

I take it the prison is not used for corrections anymore. It sure is pretty there.
Easy Rider lol. You are correct sir. Now they offer all types of tours of the building. I’m hoping to do a video of that in September or so.
Looks pretty tame t me just another great backroad ride

I want to come ride Tenneessee, I have done the dragon or blue ridge yet..
Yeah man. Come on! If you do, be sure and hit me up!!
On average we did double what the signs said. Worked in most cases on our bikes until two corners got us. We took it easy after that
