I always lower the Nozzle to the ground for that reason. So annoying
Did they stop making that exhaust? It hasn't been available on their website for a long time. I like the look with bags
I never press the Octane button until the nozzle is in the tank. Once you press it, the line is pressurized causing leftover fuel to drip out hence what you did. 😅

With the fairing the bags should remain, that's the ST package . Great looking bike.

Thanks for the great vid Ty! I had a 2022 Low Rider S after having a Road Glide Ultra. The bike absolutely ripped, but I found myself riding like an A-hole most times. I also thought the 117 had a nasty vibration at hwy speed. I'm back on a road glide limited and really enjoy the sofa life. Safe riding y'all!!

I have a '13 deluxe as my solo bar hopper i bought a '19 road glide special for me and the wife to enjoy together. I like the lowrider ST. Is there an opinion out there for passenger comfortability between these 2 beasts?

This happened to me for the first time while on my way to Sturgis. Now I've learned to dump on the ground before holding over my ST. Surprised that I didn't run into the problem before.

Comfort wise, I’m running a Clock Werks 8 1/2 inch windshield. I get zero buffeting but I still get a bit of wind noise. What are you running, and have been able to lessen wind noise??
I think I have the KlockWerks 6 or 6.5, but either way I don't get much wind noise or buffeting. I guess a good helmet to block out the wind would help too. Thank you very much for watching!
@@TyFromTennessee May be the problem. I’m running the Bell SRT modular, so it’s not the greatest. Also thinking if I ran a little taller windshield for touring, may be able to create a better rider pocket. I’ve noticed if I move my head quite a bit forward, it mitigates the wind noticeably, but I can’t ride that way!😊 Might have to experiment with a taller windshield for cross country touring or a better helmet!

Mine takes gas really slow. Spits out tiny drops if to fast.
I usually keep a rag in my saddlebags, but that day I didn't have anything. Thank you!

My issue with all Low Rider models is they really are configured badly if you are 6’3” like me. My knees were above the top of the gas tank with my feet on the pegs

Exactly why I carry 2 microfiber rags in my windshield bag. One for gas spills and one for cleaning my sunglasses.
I usually have something like that with me but I must have cleaned out my saddlebags.
What is the difference between a "full blown stage two" and a "stage two" or a "half ass stage two?
Full Blown Stage Two = A pimped out Stage 2 Stage 2 = Stage 2 Half Ass Stage Two = Stage 1 What do ya think?

The only time my ST had the bags on was on the way home from the dealership and when I moved into my new house I had to ride my bike there so I put the bags on, I don’t have them on unless I’m actually going to use them

Great information on this bike, I appreciate the honesty of the review. Riding a 2021 rg Limited and seriously considering the ST, but don’t want to lose the comfort The rg has. Also have a TriGlide that we are using for touring now with the wife. Again you discussed the areas that I would definitely be concerned about.
I do understand about going from a full touring motorcycle to a softail. I would probably have those same concerns. Any time I have a multiple day trip planned I usually take my RG so I get it. Thank you very much for watching!

I got one! and I love it! Just put in the Screaming Eagle Ohlins front fork suspensions and the Screaming Eagle Ohlins rear shocks, and the ride experience is on a whole new level!

I only take my bags off when doing a deep clean. Especially since installing the Advanblack fairing lowers it looks better with them on. Plus they’re just super practical!

You forgot one. For the cost (especially) if you really need a 6" thin film transistor touch display on your dash... the LR St might not be for you. 😅

I've had a few Street Glides and honestly I was wanting to branch out and try something different. It's been a good move for me so far, but I really do enjoy both the SG and the RG. Thank you very much for watching and I hope you have a fantastic week!
My stable: '23 FXLRS and an '06 YZFR1. I tried the ST but was turned off by the added price when I knew I'd be getting rid of the bags anyway. I like Leather Pros better. So essentially I'd have paid $3K just for the fairing. Still, it is very easy to dump $5K+ on basic upgrades. I did cam, exhaust, tuner, seat...on and on and on. I would have done the same to the ST. But, I do the work myself. Add another few $K to have a dealer do it. I'm happy with my FXLRS and it does rip and sound good(S&S475, 2 into 1). However, I'll keep my beloved YZFR1. It is a great bike...just a different bike. The R1 is fun and blows the FXLRS away in terms of speed and agility. They're both fun in their own class.

R1 is a fun bike,I owned a 2017.but the R1 and the low rider st are completely different bikes, especially the weight difference.
Not to knock your bike , because its a beauty. I think its for me just a more expensive version of my sportglide, and yes my sportglide has had a cam done
