This is greg from alabama .I have a problem with my carburetor on a 1996 yamaha royal star tour classic 1300 rebuilt carburetor run good ,but one floods
This carb kit had fuel/air mix screws that were not exactly the same and the main jets and slow jets (pilots) were not the same so i vatted the old ones and used those. You see this scenario often. The old jets had nothing wrong with them as usual anyway, just soak for 3 hours or so and reuse.
Hey! Great video, sir. Unfortunately it did make me realize that I'm a bit out of my depths to rebuild my carbs for my 1996 yamaha royalstar and I was curious what the steps would be to send you the carbs for a rebuild?
Excellent video. My 2005 RSV is flooding AFTER the bike starts. Replaced float seals and hardware. Bike runs great for a minute then it floods. Any idea what may cause this?Thank You
Nice video! Thanks for share, my fuel pump is leaking fuel, somedody told me that can be for a issue in the floats, what you think? My bike is a royal Star tour deluxe xvz13ct
I ham working on the same year RSV. My air/fuel screws appear to have a brass cone over top I want to make sure that's where they are, and how to remove them?
Is there a way to remove the needle jet. I have a needle jet housing that broke off on the threads and I can’t get the threads out cause the needle jet is in the way. Thanks
Thanks for the reply, sorry it took so long. I ended up having to buy a new/ used set of carbs cause I messed up the jet too bad trying to get it out. The bike is running great. The only issue I’m having now is a ton of popping and backfire when I’m down shifting or coming to a stop. I think it’s the tps sensor. I’m hoping I can adjust it without pulling the carbs but I’m wondering if I should just buy a new one or if adjusting would work
Howdy Neighbor. Very useful Vid Sir, I am just rebuilding my XVZ1300 carbs and this was really useful. We are just up the road near Haskell TX.
