All those Chinese people shouting day and night will send me to the looney bin.
If I'm not mistaken, you didn't stir the noodles, so no flavor was mixed in, which is why you said they were very fresh. This is hilarious, haha!
Wuhan is my least favourite city in china. It is the city where fentanyl is produced and kills thousands every year. The spineless politicians do nothing and even encourage the fentanyl chemists to carry on producing the drug. While on the outside wuhan may look lovely, the real city is horrible.
There are many places worth visiting, such as Chu-River-Han-Street, Optics Valley Pedestrian Street, Tanhualin Street , Hankou Village, and Yuanbo Garden ,etc.
i miss so much living in wuhan, i have been there during 4 years for studies and i can see again clearly in my head when i was walking at places showed in the video. i recommand so much to visit wuhan , wuhan is not only past covid time but it is lke a such place with pleasure of living

Wuhan is actually not close from Nanjing, the distance between two cities is around 600km, like from Berlin to Amsterdam. The reason you feel it close it's thanks to China's high speed rail system, allows you to travel 600km in three hours.
二个小时
@@fucai3dno,three hours is right.
I used to live in Wuhan as a kid. When I went back to visit, I couldn't recognize it. Cities change too much in China.
Wuhan is typically divided into 3 parts, Hankou stands for commerce and old money, Hanyang district stands for heavy industry and Wuchang+Hongshan district stand for culture. If you were still there, I would recommend you to visit the East Lake(Donghu) , which is the largest city lake in China, and its beautiful.
What does "old money" mean?
重工业在青山区.中国原最大的生产钢铁武汉钢铁公司在青山区
@@michaelchen4879 Old money refers to families that have had wealth for multiple generations.

Travelling abroad is eyes opening.
🤔😂 I didn't realize its so huge. I thought it was a village due to western media.
Wuhan is the clargest city in central China.🎉Wuhan, the central hub of China Railway, is a collection of cultural characteristics of northern and southern China. Wuhan is a city without its own characteristics. It is very noisy and noisy.😂Wuhan has a very large area. It is a city without a center.
Wuhan is a combination of 3 cities: Wuchang Hanyang and Hankou
Look up GDP… then looked up my nearest city 😢
The pandemic outbreak occurred right before the biggest Chinese festival of family reunion, which has the largest population movement, and in the inland hub city with the highest transportation volume, all for the sake of causing the greatest damage. This is all too coincidental, therefore, considering the visits of foreign soldiers to that place that had just ended at that time, it is reasonable for the Chinese people to suspect that the pandemic may have originated from the sabotage of hostile countries based on the beneficiary suspicion theory.
@@redmondlee9579 Indeed, too many factors to believe the pandemic was just a coincident.
The Yellow Crane Tower is not a temple but a military watch tower to watch the river navy formation/training in the ancient times almost 2000 years ago, and it was at the outer-most location on the river. It is not the original but a replacement. The original one was 3 story, it was demolished to make way to for the first bridge in the 1950s by the Soviet engineers (they built half-way because Soviet-China split). The replacement tower is 5 stories, and built not as close to the river.
Thank you for the knowledge popularization, as a Chinese I don’t know the cold knowledge haha
Thank you for this nice video of my hometown. I didn’t know what to expect and just wanted to show my husband before our visit - he has never been and I haven’t been back for 4 years due to the pandemic. Seeing the familiar streets, food and landmarks brought me to tears ❤
New subscriber here.. Thanks for this nice vlog on Wuhan. Didn't know that Wuhan is such a beautiful city. Including Wuhan on my next visit to China.
Probably the cleanest of the larger cities in China.. head to the tower in the garden just before sunset, light shows from the tower was brilliant and oh the sunset . make sure you head to neighbouring west as well. Hidden gems there.
Wuhan is my least favourite city in china. It is the city where fentanyl is produced and kills thousands every year. The spineless politicians do nothing and even encourage the fentanyl chemists to carry on producing the drug. While on the outside wuhan may look lovely, the real city is horrible.
Thank you again for this interesting Wuhan walk around.
Also complement to you, your English is perfect. It has no trace of Polish language in any ways at least not to the ear😊.

Super interesting to see you travel in China! I've been there once and had a nice time, really loved the food haha :)
This is the first city lockdowned during the covid pandemic. 13 million people. No in, no out. Amazing.
Lifted the controls after 76 days
Lockdowns Kill
Great Wuhan episode Kaja! Very well filmed and good coverage of city in one episode. Hope to see more of Wuhan! Now your visit Inspires me to know more about Wuhan’s past ( other than its recent infamous past of you all know what!). I love China!❤️👍☮️
Wuhan is a carefully chosen target, which is the transportation center of the nine surrounding provinces (31 provinces in China), so the virus or biological attack on Wuhan can spread to the whole country as quickly as possible. I think you can understand that.
2019年在中国几亿人口流动的春节期间,在中国地理的几何中心爆发疫情,这种巧合率机中国独有,2003年(香港回归第六年“非典”)、2019年(中美贸易战第二年“新冠”)。
Why infamous? The Chinese people think it is a heroic city because of its sacrifice of its people. They were not only brave to face the pandemic but also saved time for the country to control the virus. China was in fact defeated the virus in 2020-2021. With minimal loss of lives. Sadly the rest of the world simply couldn’t handle the pandemic and eventually the virus came back to China in 2022 from outside of China. Luckily the virus became a lot weaker.
I really enjoy your NanJing and WuHan trip video. Nanjing is where my ansester coming from. 👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Modern, clean, beautiful city
Very nice upload. Wuhan is an amazing city. Thanks for share with us. Greetings from Germany.
Beautiful city 🏙️ and very clean I’m glad to see this video thanks for sharing this video
That tree on the right at 10:00 is amazing, never saw a tree shaped like a vase before!
That was quite an exciting video presentation. I cannot wait to see more.!😊
You are a very brave girl....always find a way getting around the challenging places !
I think Wuhan is easy to get around....it is a very friendly place...
its so funny at 4:40 when that chinese girl said:" im fine thank you "
Hi Kaja....just stumbled onto your post. Great videos which I shall follow from now on.
One thing which is so common with other bloggers is leaving out small details like where to stay and what's the rate, taxis/transportation & rates, food & rates, etc. Cheers!
Love it. Wuhan is my hometown. Very few people know the full picture of the city. Thank you for sharing this perspective with the world ❤
@ashley Go back, why waste your time in the decadent West ? Go home to the wet market and government "experimental" facilities, the ones that worked so well in 2020.
Wuhan is my least favourite city in china. It is the city where fentanyl is produced and kills thousands every year. The spineless politicians do nothing and even encourage the fentanyl chemists to carry on producing the drug. While on the outside wuhan may look lovely, the real city is horrible.
good to see you back to China again after four years in Europe. still remember you was in shanghai with another girl, I forget her name, you look almost the same as 4 years ago.
Wuhan has a nice long river that looks more charming than that of Shanghai. Wuhan is a beautiful city.
they have the same river--yangziriver,thanks
@@shisidishaoxia What you see in Shanghai is the Huangpu River, not the Yangtze River.
But there is a contamination problem with labatories in Wuhan contaminating the world with Covid-19.
@@shisidishaoxia the scenery is different. The best river is Li River of Guanxi.
The four megacities in the Yangtze River basin, from upstream to downstream, are Chongqing, Wuhan, Nanjing and Shanghai. What makes Wuhan special is that the Han River which is largest tributary of the Yangtze River, meets the Yangtze River at the geographical center of Wuhan city, and the riverwise is very wider than all the other yangtze city.
I lived in Wuhan in 2013 and it's great to see that you went to visit! I had a fantastic year there and feel quite nostlgic about it. I can also confirm that the food is really good there. Hooray for regan mian!
You found the food street, that is amazing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 hope you enjoyed the stay 😊😊
I lived and worked in Wuhan for 5 years. I love that city.
Verry interesting video I have lived 20+ years in guizhou and its crazy how different these places are even though its the same country
Another great city. Thanks for all the information and your great wit.🤣 Thanks Kaja.👍😊🇮🇪🇨🇳
Great info. I definitely will visit the city when in china
Thanks so much for sharing. I grew up in Guangzhou yet I’ve not even once visited Wuhan. I’m right now living in Vancouver and will try my best to visit Wuhan when I go back next time.
That's awesome, I'm traveling to Wuhan in a month as a student
By the way, its always safe to walk and find food to eat at night. At this time, watermelon it recommended. 1.5-2.0 Yuan / 500g
THUMBS UP 2 WUHAN!👍👍👍
Incidentally, I'm now listening to a very nice song -- 你是武汉 -- a song dedicated to the city of Wuhan.
Cool song. Loving it.
Coastal cities in northern China will be more comfortable, such as Qingdao, Dalian, Tianjin, Wuhan is a stove, very hot😂
haha YES it was so hot there!
@@KajaKubicka The cities I mentioned to you are more comfortable and ideal for Chinese people to live in. Except for the colder winter, they are very clean and there is basically no pollution. You are basically in the south of China and rarely go to the north.😁
OMG, such courage! You’ve got an adventurous spirit 😊💖. It is so true that you shouldn’t let prejudices prevent you from enjoying the world!
Do you wanna go to Luoyang? It’s one of the most ancient cities in China, and it’s extremely beautiful as well!
Interesting that in Wuhan there are those European style buildings, just like the Bund in Shanghai. I did some research to understand the history to narrate it in one of my videos. A dark part of China history that eventually turned into super fast steps of astonishing growth.
Great video, well done!
There are so many western style buildings in those Chinese cities which were occupied by Western countries like Qingdao has German style buildings, Macau has Portuguese style buildings, Harbin has Russian style buildings.
top tips: Go to Nanshan Bamboo Sea in Zhejiang and Jiangsu for vacation. The climate there is much better. There are bamboo forests to escape the summer heat. There are also giant pandas, ancient towns, Hanfu activities, bamboo forest cable cars, and bamboo forest food. You can experience it
A very luxurious experience, the bamboo sea is only available in China,It can be called China's Little Switzerland.
Thanks for sharing.
🙌🏼🙌🏼
Thanks for showing the world this city. I don't understand why western knowledge of China is essentially 100% wrong. The information is out there, but most people don't bother to look and learn. Also, wrstern hostility towards China is wrong and misplaced, it's criminal and makes me sad. These people are not our "enemy" by any stretch of the imagination.
Because Western is fascist. PERIOD.
有必要这么委曲求全吗?都明摆着把中国当敌人了,伤心有什么用?现在的中国又不是清朝,它们又能做什么?
Welcome back!! One needs to drill on foreign languages often.
No pięknie :D fajny materiał!
Awesome editing .
Thank you!
Thanks for the vlog
Thank you for sharing your place Wuhan city look really beautiful city some day I wanna go there..!
Thanks for good video and sharing nice China to westerners.
Ahh as a native Chinese seeing you eating the noodle without first stirring it freaks me out😂
Wow ! You go girl
I had some colleagues here in Belgium who went to Wuhan. They described their China trip as a horrible nightmare. People staring, no english, guys only chilling in university.. I had an imagination that it must be a dilapidated city with old buildings and ruins. 😅 Choose the people around you wisely, they can paint a very depressing picture of even the sunniest day.
Exactly.Your colleagues came with colored lens.
I thought the whole world knew that China uses Chinese as its official language. 😂Apparently your Belgian friends didn't remember that until they got to China.
You have to be open-minded and adventurous to travel to another country,
This is what happen when you travel to other country with different race.
Ask your colleagues in Belgium which part of Belgium speaks mandarin? Or Thai , or Bahasa, or Arabic , or any language that isn’t whitey white language Hahahahah. Why the f would China have to cater to you but not the other way round? Who tf are you?
Nice video, I am in Wuhan now. hoping for a fun trip
Wuhan was where the revolution started in 1911 where Republic of China (ROC, aka Taiwan) was founded and 4000 thousands of years of dynastic was toppled.
Good that you followed the taxi driver's advice to cross the river with the bus-ferry. It's also woth it in Shanghai.
Both Chicago and Wuhan have no seaports but major river ports. The European building were similar to those of Shanghai. Second Opium War 1858 Tianjin Treaty permitted invaders to occupy some districts in Shanghai and Wuhan. The river from Shanghai leads to Wuhan which was the second biggest trading hub with a million people. There were British, Russian, French, and Belgium districts, Japanese came later. The building might be nice but not a glorious part of history.
Dear Kaja you talk fast but every word is discernible . That the way I like to talk too . China loves you baby ! Hope to see more of you .
Welcome to my city❤
If I meet you on the street, I would love to show you more places in Wuhan! 😊
I would also.
the two super power , united states and China
is showing the world - completely two different look right now
America is permanently at war with itself, very shameful thing from a civilised nation😂😂😂😂😂
@@OguejiDavid-ey4cwIf there is no war, America's economy will crumble.
China is not interested to be superpower. Its the Western media make it so, always comparing, intimidating, causing chaos and I really what this barbaric nature going to end.
@@OguejiDavid-ey4cw You can't really call America civilized considered U.S. has only been at peace for less than 20 years total since its birth. US is at war 92% of the time - 227 out of 247 years - Since 1776. America is just a very good at propagandize their fake image controlling Hollywood and most of the major media. Even the shortest Chinese dynasty has more peace time than the US.
@michaellee5864 Depends on what you consider "civilization." The United Stated was founded 247 years ago, the average Chinese dynasty has lasted 250 yrs, it's current system is only 74 years old. China had many amazing dynasty's, with great cultural and technological advances, which was mostly destroyed. Now the CCP controls every aspect of their lives since 1949. America definitely has it's flaws, most exists because our diversity has been a far greater challenge than expected, and attempts to force and embrace more has created even greater problems. And yes, as partisan as our government can be, at no time since our founding has our government caused 80 million to die from unnatural deaths, or become "disappeared" for some "Great Leap Forward."
during the late qing dynasty and republic of china eras 100 yrs ago, wuhan was the 3rd largest chinese city. shanghai being #1 and tianjing being #2 largest chinese cities. all 3 cities had a sizeable european quaters with european architectures.
In fact the name Wuhan appeared in 1927, it was group by Hankou Hanyang Wuchang. Before that, Hankou was already a very prosperous commercial city behind Shanghai. As an inland port city, Hankou's trade volume exceeded that of the port city Tianjin for many years in the late Qing Dynasty, and the data of Wuchang and Hanyang were not included. At that time, Russian enterprises made brick tea in Hankou and exported it to Amsterdam and Antwerp by direct voyage on the Yangtze River.
The Huanghelou is not a temple, it is an ancient parade building 😊
It should be renovated and newly built.

Great video. Hello from Philippines
Where are the tents in the Streets, the Homeless, the Drugs Addicted, the Ghetto. Next time go there Also. It looks so Clean and Perfect. ❤ Love your video.
You did good researches of Wuhan and Yantz River
I did not know Starbucks was still in China. I thought they pulled out of there. Your vlog is very informational. Thank you.
China doesn't pull out any company if the Company doesn't break the Chinese law or do anything against China. I thought the US should do the same thing but it didn't.
😂😂they have more Starbucks in China than Australia, for example. So so many everywhere.
Their phone app is developed by Starbucks China and imported back to the states.
Love Wuhan! Visited summer 2023 and had an amazing time. Highly recommend
You have such perfect English. So many Poles do.
so many interesting places here
I really love the Chimptuna shop there on the street.
Great video 🎉
I seem to have heard of some translation apps. If you talk to them, they can be translated into Chinese. Maybe you can give it a try.
Wuhan was created from three cities - Wuchang, Hanyang and Hankou. The last one was known in the West as Hankow. It is on the Yangtze (Chang Jiang) and is navigable from the sea. In the 1920s and 1930s the US Navy patrolled the river to protect US interests.
welcome to china。no homeless, zombies, gunshots, gangs, robs here on the street。just enjoy delicious foods。😆
Welcome to Wuhan, if you're still here, I can buy you a cup of coffee and show you around the real customs and traditions
Nice video, Kaja! If you want to bump into foreigners in Wuhan, go to the "Wuhan Silicon Valley". That is the center of universities in Wuhan. There are tons of foreign students and teachers there. But this is summer vacation time right now...... they may be back to their home countries or scattered all over China for enjoyments.
so nice vidio kaja.....
Thank you!
I think is bigger and better than any other cities in the USA!
My mother's apartment is like 10 mins walk from the river park, lol.
and then it just one hour from changsha in high speed train as well 😂
As a melbournian, Starbucks is not ok, come on they have costa on china! 😅Cool video, only Ben there once and I felt sure it was worth more time. Loved the park with people dancing, playing saxophone…
Did not know that is a ancient city.....at all...and is also in Guangdong right I saw a video last few days......guess you are the first one who really shows the actual city 🧡tq

Wow, just saw your video and I stayed in the same hotel you did back in December'23.
Got a friend took us around, 1.5yuan for the ferry that takes us to the other side, how cheap is that eh
Compared to the other cities, I find Wuhan one of the cheapest. My hotel room was around $30AUD per night.
Food feels cheaper than Guangzhou, Shanghai for sure and also Beijing.
Will definitely go again.
Nice video. Good view and brave and pretty girl.
I never eat breakfast, too. I'm never hungry in the morning. I feel nauseating just thinking about eating food when I wake up. Don't drink coffee either, just water. So, I just eat lunch and dinner.
Me too😂😂😂😂😂😂
我也是早上不感觉饿.但我早上会吃点流质的,比如粥、汤面、馄饨.
That’s healthy
如果你长期不吃早餐.你会胆结石的.😀

Wuhan is much different from what we hear about it on the news. And also Indians can be equally loud like the Chinese, if not bit more louder 😅
Pittsburgh and Wuhan became sister cities in 1982.
I love sugarcane juice too!
before people can build bridges over the rivers, Wuhan were basically 3 cities, because it is divided by a 2 major rivers in a "Y" shape....

How are you?
I’m fine, thank you.
