Great video, but what about the fact, that there is no app in the playstore for android because they violate the playstore rules? Only working if you download their apk
Everything you saw was default settings. The only changes we made was for frame rate and resolution so we could capture slow motion at the highest quality this camera can offer
Also no mention of the fact that you need to have the app installed to use the cam. There is NO option to use the action 4 without the app installed...
Not sure we experienced that. We did set up the app when we first got the camera. But the app did not need to be opened to use the camera. With every camera purchase I'd recommend installing the app to check for camera updates anyways.
@@AustinKeen it might provide a better experience for sure, but our of the box you need to scan the camera with the app to "unlock" it, forcing you to download it. Bad practise imo
I’m pretty sure you need the app (and an internet connection) with most cameras. You usually have to install the latest firmware before you can use them. But, after that, you don’t need the app. You can uninstall it. But, camera apps are handy in some situations. Copying files to your phone or if you need a remote live view
The DJI ecosystem is a huge game changer. And I definitely prefer the user interface of the DJI.

Great video and giving a great perspective on what the Action 4 can do. I’m getting use to my new purchase and really like it.

It’s really amazing action camera, I use it sometimes to record kitesurfing in Qatar, and most of the time use it when I travel 😍

Cool review! Do you have a link to that extension pole?
It's called the FPoleV! One of a kind, super light, but a little pricey. But definitely worth it!
@@AustinKeen Thanks for the reply. Subscribed 🤙

Ohhh thats a bummer. None of us have androids so we weren't able to test that. Good to know!
Cool
Yo what’s good I’m the first like and view and comment I love your content
Ayeee thank you!!!!
Btw me and my dad used to cold plunge at your studio my dad is gavin
Mic gets clogged with water, randomly, it sounds like
3:20 again here also.. looks good, just needs external mic addon for watersports
Yea its hard to create a totally waterproof mic. all action cams definitely struggle with audio once water is involved
@@AustinKeen it is like you are actually there with a water stash in the ear ha
