I actually logged in to leave a comment, and it is well worth it. Kate covers it, and doesn't miss a stich. see what i did there? I have this machine, and just like to watch knowledgeable people so i can gain even MORE information! I make my own "videos" and hope to help people too. Amazing how many videos you have to go thru before you find a Kate. Great machine, great informational video, and professional! Bravo! Buy a Brother 630 if you're beginning, I DON'T CARE what anyone says, this $1700 b70 IS NOT for beginners!! Unless you have more money than sense. Not that any of which was indicated in the video. Thank you! BRAVO!
Hi! How can I embroider a hoodie? I'm concerned that the machine might not handle the hoodie's weight. Should I embroider the design on a piece of fabric separately and then attach it to the hoodie using glue or stitching?
I just learned that the 5x7 hoop for this machine is a bit smaller so all of my 5x7 designs no longer fit in the 5x7 hoop. It is kind of frustrating that I hear 5x7 and expect those designs to fit like they did in my other hoop.
Thanks for your video. Quick question, does the machine stop it self when it detects that it’s a different colour ? Then all you do is change the bobbin ? This is bugging me 😂
Hello! The embroidery design has the colors separated in the program, so it will stitch all of one color, stop for you to change thread, and then do all of the next color and so on until it is complete!
@@TheQuiltingBeeSpokane brilliant, thank you :) also 😂 when treading the machine from top to bottom do you need to keep the thread tight ? I’m having issues with the thread snapping and coming out the eye of the needle 🪡. X
We would say that yes, keep the thread tight while threading, make sure the foot is up, and make sure that the needle is the right size for the thread. Another thing is to make sure that the foot you have on is the same one as the machine is set to on the screen. Also it does not hurt to change the needle and see if that help. Hope that helps!
@@TheQuiltingBeeSpokane could you do a video on how to keep the thread tight when threading ? And how to make sure the thread and needle are correct ? Thank you x
Are you referring to an embroidery design or a normal picture? Because this machine will easily embroidery an existing embroidery design, but will need a separate digitizing program on your computer to convert an image into an embroidery design.
Beanies yes using the Floating method, and with some practice works perfect!!! Caps depends- Bernina does not makes a specific cap adapter for this machine, just for the regular Berninas. But I got a Cap adapter used in the older Benina DECO 500/600/650, and it is working using the 10 x 6 hoop, but you need to be checking the machine. Hope this helps you
Hello! Are you wanting to quilt the block, bind the block, or a different step? Also, you can always come by the store and we can talk you through any questions you may have about the machine!

@@rickybrown5288 When the thread breaks like that, the thread is usually getting wrapped around the spool pin.

Can this machine be used to finish a quilt block?

Hey what is the difference between b70 deco and b70
Hello, there is actually no "B70", the Deco name is just added to indicate that the machine is embroidery-only. Have a great day!
Too loud.
