The most informative set up video for my Bernina Embroidery machine that I have seen! Thank you so much! I have been struggling, but have learned so much from this beautifully clear, precise and well presented tutorial. You do a brilliant job!

I got my Bernina 880 Plus in July 2019, I got 2 classes on how to operate the machine before Covid 19 shutdown happened. I have been doing garment sewing, making quilt blocks, etc. I had my embroidery module put away too scared to touch it until I watched your videos & you made it look so easy. You answered all my questions
.Today 8/22/2021 I am embroidering & loving it! Thank you Thank you Thank you! (You are a wonderful instructor!)

Wow - I just picked up a Bernina 880 Plus. You, young lady are an AWESOME instructor. Not only do you tell us how to do something but WHY we should do it that way or the options for changing somethings. I’m so impressed. I just calibrated all my hoops and touched the screen along with you. It appears that the 880 has a few more icons than your 770 but I’m sure that there is help for that on RUclips. I’ve learned enough for one day anyway! I’ve had top of the line Janome Machines for 30 years, so switching to a Bernina is a little mind boggling at the moment (mostly on the sewing side). I’ll look to see if you have a “sewing basics” Vlog as well…. Thank you so much for your time and clear tutorial!

Your teaching is so awesome, so clear and very understandable. I've been sewing for years on Berninas, but I'm newer to embroidery. My husband surprised me with a Tula 770qee last winter. I have to say, the Embroidery Basics class I attended from my Bernina dealer was nowhere near as thorough as this one. I've learned so much through your video. I immediately subscribed to your RUclips channel and can't wait to learn more from you and actually start using my embroidery module with confidence. Thank you!!!

Great tutorial. I got my Tula Pink Bernina 570 QE May of 2020 and because of Covid my dealer was not able to show me any of the basics for the embroidery attachment. Took me a couple of months just to unpack the attachment and then several more months before actually attaching it to my machine. With your tutorial I now have enough confidence to try using it. Thank you so much!!!!

I've had my 790 for 7 years and didn't know half of what you showed in this video. I am totally saving it in my playlist. Thanks again!!! Would very much like to see your take on the new 990...

Caity, thank you so much for this excellent tutorial. I attended my first embroidery class at my Bernina center yesterday, and frankly, it was a bit overwhelming for a lot of us who knew nothing about our embroider machines. I'm so happy I found your video this morning. You clearly and concisely reviewed everything our instructor presented yesterday, so this was a fantastic way to review the basics. The close-ups of your Bernina were extremely helpful as well. My confidence level has grown a lot already. Again, thank you!

I have to agree with other comments…..you’re an excellent teacher, slow speaking and you explain well. I haven’t used my embroiderer since we moved 2yrs ago because of all the added yard work I didn’t have before that takes up a lot of my time and exhausting, so I thought I would have to go back in to take lesions for the basics which I didn’t want to do, but running into your video you have explained more than what I was originally taught…..looking forward to any other videos you may have…..

Caity is a fabulous instructor! She goes step by step with a logical, well-planned scripting. I picked up a little 590 last weekend to use as a travel/class/retreat machine. I tuned into her videos because it had been several years since I did the set up of my 790. Well! I learned so much! Stuff I had never been taught! I will never regret buying my machines at Quilt Beginnings - service and training are top of the line!

This was such a fabulous, well organized, and easily understood video. I learned more watching this video than in the 2 visits I made to the dealer for the intro session. You covered everything I needed to get confidently started with my embroidery module. I was able to run the video near my machine and stop/start to actually get some embroidery done successfully! Thanks so much! I'll use this as a ready reference. Great job.

Very helpful video! I would like to know a couple of things...Is this operation strictly the machine function? How does embroidery software factor in? I am finding this very confusing to determine what I actually need. Can the 535 Bernina read or convert .ART designs to the newer .EXP files? (I have some .ART files I had for my previous 440QE that I would like to use, but don't have the .EXP versions.)

Hi there, I just found this video and it has so many great tips. Thank you so much. I just have one question that I didn't find answered here. I often have a little thread nest at the beginning of my design. Which can get really nasty if you have a lot of thread changes (especially close together). I already tried everything. Turned off all the great features, change thread, changed needles, re-threading (a lot), playing (a little) with the tension, different stabilizer... you name it. I also heard to bring up the bottom thread at the begininng and hold on to both threads. So I tried that but if I do that I have a strong tuck on the threads and a loud noise (in the bobbin area) , is that normal? I am afraid I do more damage than good with that method. Also If my design has lots of thread changes, than I have to bring up the thread just as often. Oh I have a Bernina 770qe with the new plus upgrade. Please, help me.
