In 1976 i was only 11 years old and with my group of friends we were already adoring and dancing to this song. I would never have imagined, back then, in 2023, to still see, hear and admire Al Stewart himself still performing on stage. Greetings from Brazil.

@@Smiler2724 There was much more innocence, children played in the street, there were no cell phones, video games and TV was great fun, despite the limited programming. Music and films took longer to arrive in our country, in short, we were happy with what we had.

@@alexrizzoBingo bullseye correct. But cable, video games, the brick cell phones already in their infancy barely. Apple Mcintosh computers invented and sold only and affordable to the rich elite oligarchs millionaires and well off financially affluent society only. The majority could not afford them. 1976 was a great year for music like this. Remember this song burning out the home and car stereos 24/7 365. Different people different era different styles different values different music different time different country never to return again. Glad I lived it.

I live somewhere in the nook of Asia and I felt and experienced the same in 1976. YOTC was and is the same 'good-giving' vibe it does as time travels through its passages. Al's music still plays an integral part through my life - and I believe it does so to most of you good people out there. Happy New Year...2 / Jan / 24 🙏🏼

Auguri.

Absolute class. This puts a lot of today's so called "music" to shame. There is some decent music out there now but in the 70's and 80's we were overloaded with it , so many great bands and musicians that we probably didn't fully appreciate at the time. This is a masterpiece.
