This was absolutely the best Photoshop tutorial I've ever seen. It was so dramatic, which made it fun to watch, but it was also so informative even though there was no voice over. Also helps that the same tools are in the same places after 6 years 😅
Thank you for your kind comment. I hope you will find it useful. Photoshop hasn't changed fundamentally since version CS6. However, in the new version, there are some additions and changes in notation. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
I love how dramatic it is! It feels so peaceful and it makes me laugh! It makes me understand what you're doing so much better! Thank you for bomb tutorials, you've earned a sub!
Thank you for your kind comment. I'm so happy! I believe that techniques will improve by setting certain kinds of regulations in Photoshop. It might be a game like sports. Ha-ha! I appreciate that you also saw the bomb tutorial. Thank you for subscribing!
Wow these are the most enjoyable tutorials you've ever seen in my life keep up the good work
Thank you for your kind comment. I was encouraged by your heartwarming words. You made my day!
the editing is top-notch i never expected this type of video editing, and also the way you create bricks from scratch is very creative indeed
Thank you for your kind comment. This video has set some regulations. You understood it and showed me. I'm so happy! Thank you!
i really love the music and sound effect
Thank you for your kind comment. I was encouraged by your heartwarming words. Many thanks!
AWESOME, CAME OUT JUST AS I WANTED.
Thank you for your kind comment. I am happy to hear that. Thank you!
I've been using PS for years off and on and I've always struggled with conceptualizing the offset tool (a must-have if one wants to gen textures for 3d art) this simple tutorial made it click. TY
Thank you for your kind comment. The offset tool is indispensable when designing a seamless pattern. I'm glad if it helped you in some way.
Wow this tutorial was amazing! Thanks so much XD
Sorry for my late reply. Thank you for your kind comment. I'm glad if it helped you in some way.
It’s just awesome... Thanks. Please continue Such tutorials
Thank you for your kind comment. I will continue to aim for useful techniques. Thank you!
Wow, thank you for this Tutorial. Although the video is 4 years old, I was able to follow the tutorial with Adobe Photoshop version cc2021. :)
Thank you for your kind comment. This tutorial uses all legacy features, but I'm glad I was able to create it in version 2021. It is difficult to keep up with frequent version updates, but I will try to update as much as possible. Thank you!
Excellent! I'm excited about the results.
Thank you for your kind comment. Glad you liked it.
Absolutely Awsome tutorial. thanks so much. little bit fast with the clicks in a couple areas like the colour gradient. But easy enough to jump back. Thanks again
Thank you for your kind comment. I'm sorry. The "Gradient Editor" in the video is difficult to understand the set value because playback is fast. The setting values of Step 6 are as follows. Thank you!
Location : 0% Color : H 0 / S 0 / B 0 (Black)
Location : 20% Color : H 10 / S 75 / B 50
Location : 40% Color : H 15 / S 70 / B 70
Location : 60% Color : H 35 / S 50 / B 75
Location : 80% Color : H 45 / S 25 / B 75
Location : 100% Color : H 0 / S 0 / B 100 (White)
Very professional..Love it!

what a unique way of presenting a tutorial with sound fx ????
Thank you for your interest. Sound effects of this video are all audio editing after creating the animation.
good video, wish there was more vids on this channel.
for some reason, the difference clouds arent as dark for me, I must have missed a step, subbed and liked
Thank you for your kind comment. In your case, there seems to be a problem with "Foreground and Background Colors" in Step 4. Please do "Default Foreground and Background Colors" before "Difference Clouds" you apply in Step 4. Thank you!
psgips thank you, love your channel
Thank you for your reply. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Excellent, magnificent and great!... despite I have Windows 10 I found out how to make de shortcuts, so I've done it almost exactly as you did... only one thing, how do you make on step 3 make the wall black... my wall ends in light blue color..
Thank you for your kind comment. Sorry for only Mac version. I do not own Windows, so I can not check the details. I think that most operations can be done in common. The main one for key exchange is [command] is [Ctrl] and [option] is [Alt]. The blackening of the wall in step 3 is due to switching to "Layer Mask" mode. Please [Alt]+click the "Layer Mask" thumbnail. You try. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
You're welcome! Keep up with the tutorials they're great!
Thank you for your kind words. I will continue to aim for useful techniques. Thank you!
Why do I feel like I'm playing a mobile game while watching this? Jokes aside this was very helpful thank you
Thank you for your kind comment. I'm happy to have been able to help you out. In this video, there was a restriction on not speaking, so my feelings became a sound effect. Lol.
Hey guys,i having a question here...how to work in layer mask in white working space?i heard he said hold down O key,is it correct?
Sorry for only Mac version. I do not own Windows, so I can not check the details. I think that most operations can be done in common. The main one for key exchange is [command] is [Ctrl] and [option] is [Alt].
Does "white working space" as you say mean switching to "layer mask" mode? If it, Please [Alt]+click the "Layer Mask" thumbnail. You try.
[O] key is the selection of "Dodge Tool". Is not the number "0" instead of the letter "O" of the alphabet? If it, This is the key to set "Opacity" to "0%". It works when you select a tool other than a paint type tool.
If you set "Opacity" to "0%", the target layer becomes invisible and the layer on the back is displayed. At that time, if the layer on the back is a white "background", the document window will be all white. However, it is not a display of "layer mask".
psgips tq for ur answer...it is very helpful
Thank you for your reply. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Can you please tell me what that hashtag sign meant?? I don’t knwo whcih to press
I'm sorry I didn't make it clear enough. This movie example is created on Macintosh. The modifier key is different on Macintosh and Windows. Therefore, it is necessary to convert the key representation. The main one for key exchange is [command] is [Ctrl] and [option] is [Alt]. For more information on the [command] key, refer to the following page. Thank you!
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Command_key
i cant find the render and then difference clouds, i dont have it. is there any other way? 10:15
[Difference Clouds] is a standard feature in all versions. If they do not appear in the menu, you need to install Photoshop again. Thank you!
pls ,help when i put difference cloud its coming as blue and not black.help pls
Before you apply cloud. Check the "Foreground color and background color" that you have set. Make this the default state. It's black and white. Thank you!
WHAT IS BUTTON 'option' in windows????
Sorry for only Mac version. I do not own Windows, so I can not check the details. I think that most operations can be done in common. The main one for key exchange is [command] is [Ctrl] and [option] is [Alt].
Now Let me help those who are the Windows Users the option key is the alt key. The other key that looks like a Chinese writing is the Ctrl key
Thanks for your help, I really appreciate it.
jesus christ they couldnt have made this more simple
Thank you for your kind comment. I will continue to aim for useful techniques.
@@psgips wow, you are still active, cool
Thank you for your reply. I'm glad to hear that. Many thanks!
can you also put the command to be used in windows? lol
Sorry for only Mac version. I do not own Windows, so I can not check the details. I think that most operations can be done in common. The main one for key exchange is [command] is [Ctrl] and [option] is [Alt]. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
How do you make it seamless?
The texture of this video is not a seamless pattern. Thank you!
I was asking if it would be possible to make it seamless while you are making it instead of flipping the edges into the center and try to blend it the best you can.
An texture is more or less unless if it's not seamless unless you use it for something like a website banner, however most of the time you do actually want it to repeat.
@@TrueMathSquare this is late but if you wanna make anything seamless offset it by half the resolution so if i was doing 2048 by 2048 the offset would be 1024 and then just blend to the best of your ability
Yeah I thought about that but making a GI would defeat the point of it. Why blend it when you can just do that with a pic?
I'm always on duty
Thank you for your kind comment. Please also expect the next tutorial. Thank you!
7:51 wich one?
I'm sorry. That symbol is the Mac [command] key. For Windows, select "Select Pixels" from the context menu (right click). A selected area of "Layer Mask" is created. Thank you!
ok,thank you
Amazing tutorial btw
Thanks for the reply. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
psgips ok thank you
I hope you make more videos about making textures in Photoshop👍
Thanks a lot! I'm so happy! Your words encourage me. I will continue to aim for useful techniques. Thank you!
This is so annoying to watch
Thank you for your precious advice.
