Look, he is actually working with the Chef and he is also a Chef and not just a presenter on the Tele. I work as a Chef in Germany, kitchens are hard work, team work under pressure. In service respect and following orders to perfection is when respect must be shown. Outside of that, you need to have some fun. Also Lallement does not speak English very well and the presenter is mostly translating what Chef Lallement can not adequately describe in English. I think they complement each other very well.
I've commented on other videos ....this guy Ashley just makes chefs uncomfortable and doesn't know how to shut up, just has to repeat everything and get in the way....awesome show ...but we can't focus on the chefs with this guy talking all time ....shut up and take a vallium
I am extremely disturbed with the belittlement of the Chef. Please allow the Chef to do his own cooking and show what a genius he is. I am very sure the chef felt so humbled. Cuisine Culture must stop this condescending attitude or all our well to do clients will shut off the cuisine culture in our routine. This happened before in the early 80's when the chef told the TV presenter to f...off and shaft... Unsurprisingly the presenter was left on the roadside .
Who are we to say how the chefs feel about this cringey host being so dominating. For all we know, there could be a concensus that allows him to be as he is. These segments don't have much editing, so there needs to be a "flow" which you can't really expect the chefs to control. Also we need to note that some of these chefs go HARD during service and rarely ever take days off, so I imagine them being sort of relieved that this knobhead does all the work while they get to correct him, everytime he makes mistakes and what not... xD I actually enjoy these segments alot, the food is amazing and the chefs get a more natural look. I'm not big on "Hell's Kitchen" style editing and making it more about drama than actual food, so I can live with a cringey host as long as he doesn't make it all about him. It's his outlet anyway, so it's better that he is involved this way.
I did read the comments before watching the video. I don't understand why he is annoying you so much. As a chef, the only thing bothering me, is he stands to close to the chef. Keep some distance and respect
Arnaud Lallement you are a very patient guy. I'd have kicked him out of my kitchen after about 30 seconds
Why is he acting like he's the chef? Can he shut up and listen for a while?! Jeeze!
I have just seen the truthful comments of all the other viewers, I could not agree more with them. I am so glad I live in wonderful London.
Those chairs though

I can not believe the 'host' is wearing blue jeans and a print shirt to meet a world class chef at a world class restaurant. Poor judgement.
I wore Jean's everyday in a Michelin restaurant, with a very clean jacket and apron. Dont be so precious,

The samba drums and the didgeridoo does NOT work for me. Hotel lobby music spoils the French food.
Simple is right.shit may be more accurate though
