You allowed them to serve you a tiny portion of the Bresse Chicken, which is tre, tre yummy! I hope that you took the uneaten portion with you in a Sac de Chien, because you paid for the entire bird!!!!

Epicure is probably one of top 5 in Paris I'd say, absolutely exceptional.

I just watched it all again. 28 Euros for 2 bottles of Water.... That's ridiculous.
It's meaningless because for people eating in 3 stars Michelin restaurant, prices in that range don't mean anything, so they can upgrade them easily.
to be more precise, if you would care either you pay your bottle of water 10$ or 20$, you would not be eating in a 3 star restaurant in the first place, so it makes sense.

Does is ever feel slightly uncomfortable eating alone? I actually prefer it at places like these, as you can focus on the food rather than some random conversation....
No, I don’t feel lonely, very comfortable, I can enjoy beautiful and delicious foods, sometimes I like travel alone and dining alone

I prefer the French restaurants before Chez Panisse came on the scene and turned all the plating into modern art.
it would be more respectful to the chef's artistry if you were to cut only as much as you can comfortably fit in your mouth during each bite, rather than pre-cutting the entire dish beforehand.

Sorry but I think French cuisine has stagnated while others have moved ahead as I discovered having returned recently from France, the food was a huge disappointment. This 3* restaurant is frankly serving pretty bog standard fine dining fare,all the dishes looking similar to many other establishments featured on RUclips. Surely serving a single asparagus stalk on a plate is taking things too far?😅 This meal is definitely not worth almost €500 excluding drinks!
