    Gentle correction: per dining etiquette, one should always cut and eat food on the plate (such as the langoustine) one piece at a time, not cutting it all all at once before eating.

    Great to see you posting classic French restaurants again....Love it ❤
    We were at the Ritz a few weeks ago and enjoyed the Bresse chicken en Vessie. I think the Paris version was a lot more expensive ha ha.

    Epicure is probably one of top 5 in Paris I'd say, absolutely exceptional.

    1 problème !, où les couteaux ne coupent pas où la personne ne sait pas s’en servir ?
    Pour moi C la 2ème 😂 , un couteau n’est pas un stylo 😢

    You allowed them to serve you a tiny portion of the Bresse Chicken, which is tre, tre yummy! I hope that you took the uneaten portion with you in a Sac de Chien, because you paid for the entire bird!!!!

    Does is ever feel slightly uncomfortable eating alone? I actually prefer it at places like these, as you can focus on the food rather than some random conversation....

    it would be more respectful to the chef's artistry if you were to cut only as much as you can comfortably fit in your mouth during each bite, rather than pre-cutting the entire dish beforehand.

    Please stop cutting up your portions into bite size pieces all at one time. You are not a mother cutting up food for her baby to eat. It is considered poor manners and is hard to watch.

      Thanks for letting us know that you've never been to a place like this, same as anyone who jokes about getting a Big Mac after.
      I have been lucky enough to visit more than 10 multi-starred restaurants and I have always been full of stuffed by the end.

      Definitely not. I had lunch here and came out stuffed by the end. Had to take out the macaron offered at the end.

    Sorry but I think French cuisine has stagnated while others have moved ahead as I discovered having returned recently from France, the food was a huge disappointment. This 3* restaurant is frankly serving pretty bog standard fine dining fare,all the dishes looking similar to many other establishments featured on RUclips. Surely serving a single asparagus stalk on a plate is taking things too far?😅 This meal is definitely not worth almost €500 excluding drinks!
