I appreciate that and thank you so much for watching. I have been very happy with it. I find that it struggles in lower light situations a bit more than the GoPro, so as long as you have good daytime, outdoor lighting you should be happy. I'm sure you've heard about the issues with "soft focus." I personally have not had this issue but it is a relatively accepted flaw in some units. I would suggest trying to get some that were received recently by the store.
Thank you so much!! That means a tremendous amount to me. I have a new video coming Monday looking at the color profiles and settings on the DJI Action 3 versus the GoPro and quite a bit planned in the future. Thanks for watching.
So, I have the DJI Action3 in my cart ready to purchase (because of your great reviews) and on last minute read through the small print, I see that the Mimo App is not available in the Play Store and needs to be downloaded directly from their website. Then I come to find out that it's not compatible with my Pixel 7 Pro, which I see you are also using in this video. I'm I missing something here, or do you just not use the app? This seems like a huge disadvantage to me though there is very little information to be found online about this issue. This will be my first action camera, so I am wondering do I really need the app? Thanks!
I have this same camera, it's nice but I think 4k looks like 1080p. In other words it does not have the sharpness as I would expect. And that is what everyone on RUclips is complaining about. And they are right. GOPRO 11 is sharper but it has many issues. So I guess we are stuck with it. I Just subscribed thanks for this nice video.
Thanks so much for watching. I really enjoy the camera and yes there have been a lot of issues with 4K video being a bit "soft." I have noticed that some situations tend to lend to a softer video, specifically low light.
I am so jealous!!! My DJI A3 does not look as crisp as yours and I'm on the latest 10-bit firmware. Tears. Your video has inspired me not to cave to the darkside and switch to the imperial forces of GoPro 11. For some reason I really like the A3 over what the GP 11 has to offer. They have taken to different ethos to action cameras and I lean towards the DJI rebellion. Nice video and great setting.
I also have stayed with the Action 3. There is nothing wrong with the GoPro Hero 11. For me I feel like the action. 3 "out of the box" is a little more user friendly, has a better automatic color profile and just simply looks better with no additional effort. With the GoPro, I really was only comfortable shooting in a flat color profile and then color grading. That simply took me too long. Both are fantastic cameras. Thank you so much for watching. I have a new video coming on Wednesday.
Hi. Nice video. Can you please clarify? I agree with Francois Ibiza's comments - much of your video is not sharp, and I believe you have a unit with the focus issue. I have watched very many DJI Osmo Action 3 videos. Images on some are superb - others out of focus. The issue seems to have been proven - manufacturing issue with some units only, which have the lens set at the incorrect distance from the sensor. No firmware update will ever correct this, even though the Nov 30th update has made big improvements, as well as delivering additional functionality - at least take the enhanced HDR, even if 10 bit colour for post-processing does not appeal? Why not apply the firmware update? Have you now done this? Has it improved things? Why not do what others have done - return your unit and get one that focuses correctly in all situations? Your comments will be much appreciated. Thanks. Bob
I very much appreciate your comments. I have been using the action 3 quite a bit in my videos lately and I'll admit in that one video, It does seem as though the 4K is a bit soft. However, the vast majority of everything I have done seems to be pretty good to me. Try watching this video and let me know what you think. @@HeHasTheCamera Thanks so much for the really rapid reply. I AGREE. I had already seen the 'Beach' video and that was part of the reason for commenting - Beach Vs Huntington - Day Vs Night. I now conclude the issue, when considering your unit, is not that your unit has a focus issue, but it does not produce nearly such good images when light is low. I suspect this is true for ALL Action 3 units. Outdoors on the beach is fantastic (other video) but when you went indoors the image quality reduced significantly. Lesson learned? Be active outdoors?
Nice video. I also like my DJI osmo action 3. You have to come here, in the Philippines, for vacations and discovery of the nature, the friendly people and the rich culture heritage. 👍
I was actually considering a trip to either Thailand or the Philippines early next year. Haven't decided but I will keep that in mind and reach out if I go to the Philippines.
There have been a lot of focus issues with the Action. 3. My device does not have any focus issues whatsoever. It was manufactured in September of 2022. I don't know if they fixed it or if it's just luck of the draw. I also have the Hero 11 and I love it but I simply feel that the Action 3 is easier to produce acceptable video.
It's out of focus but who can tell looking at their phone. I watch RUclips on my 70 inch TV., I have Pocket 2 and it's very clear. DJI told me yesterday they can't fix it so I will return my action 3.
I feel that there are moments that I have used the camera where I noticed this. But for the vast majority of my videos I've been happy with the results. Try watching this and see what you think? ruclips.net/video/RYhcfoK8dGo/видео.html
@@yakubyudho It seems to be very similar to the GoPro Hero 11 but I believe that the Action 3 seems to have a little more efficient battery utilization so I would say slightly better battery life than GoPro.
Amazing video! Thanks for creating and sharing.

Fix the lens if it is not in focus, the firmware won't fix the focus issue.
I really like your videos, looking forward for more content!!

Very cool may I know the resolution and fps
The vlogging was at 4K / 30fps and most of the b-roll was 4K 60fps. It was all rendered in a 30fps timeline for editing..thanks for watching.
how about now with the new 10 bit?
I never updated yet. Still has out of box settings with September update.
I here a lot about the focus issue, have you had any problems with focus. I have the new GoPro 11 and am thinking about sending it back
