    Tip of the year: If you want to really make the colors pop and feel like your in a movie theater? Try covering the whole wall behind the screen with a black fabric. Tack it on all sides. I painted my wall completely black. Holey makeral! You will be freaking out if you do it.

      Thanks. I really want to do this but we often have different screens on display so I'm going to wait til we have the dedicated area. Good stuff.

    Another great Vid B. As always, it's a treat seeing Jen pop-in & out at the beginning & end. BTW you still look like a grown-up Calvin, of Calvin & Hobbes fame.

    All fixed screens should come with a cardboard template. Would greatly speed up accurate wall mounting. Looks awesome by the way😁👍👍👍

    Hi i have a doubt like what is the difference between the daylight ALR screen and Cinematic ALR screen. Can you please explain in detail.

  • @alchemistsavant8573
    @alchemistsavant8573 2 месяца назад

    I’m confused by the projector spacing. The spec on their site says the top of projector to bottom of screen at 132 is 11.3in. Your gap looks maybe about that size but it looks like the projector sits inches below the top of the cabinet.

    Hi, Thanks for the wonderful review. The LTV 3500 is a bit beyond my budget. Do you think the LTV 3000 will still deliver image quality comparable to the LTV 3500 on a 132-inch screen?

    • @BTheInstaller

    Hey B, love your videos. Can you comment on UST/ALR viewing angles? Particularly the fresnel screens if you’ve ever used one. Are they really that narrow? How about the screen in this video?

    • @BTheInstaller
      @BTheInstaller  2 месяца назад +2

      The angles on this are better than a bunch of VA tvs. It's completely watchable off-angle

      Watchable off Angle? I hate Reviewers talking about off angle viewing. There is No such thing as Good off Angle Viewing.
      The only way to Watch Video is Directly in Front of the Screen. I have Never been to a Movie Theater a Sports Bar anywhere Large Screen TV's are Available to watch that has off Angle Viewing.
      Off Angle Viewing is Not a Thing!!!! People don't set up their seating in a Home Theater in any room with seating that has an off angle view.
      VA panels are Outstanding. There are Better TV Panels but VA panels do an Outstanding job.
      I would NEVER watch a TV at the off angles you showed in this Video. They are Not a Watchable viewing angle. You can only see maybe 40% of the Screen. The Full Picture is Not seen properly if at all. You would Not enjoy watching the Video that way, you would quickly develop a headache.
      The TCL TV has the Superior Picture Quality over the Projector and it is Not even close.
      I am Not a fan of Ultra Short throw Projectors they are very inferior to Long Throw Projectors.
      The cost of the Screen used with the Short throw Projector usually costs as much as the Projector itself.
      I Greatly prefer my Long Throw 4K HDR LG Cinebeam Projector and my 150 inch Home made Projector Screen. It is A Far Superior Viewing Experience than you can get from Any Ultra Short throw Projector setup. At a fraction of the cost.

    NO, I was wondering if they did a 132" seamless screen, they could've done as well a 150" seamless screen? Could've they done it?

    • @BTheInstaller
      @BTheInstaller  2 месяца назад

      I don't believe so. From my understanding the 132" is the largest ALR possible.

  • @7Kriss7167
    @7Kriss7167 2 месяца назад

    Do you know why it is a 132" ALR Screen and not 150" ALR Screen? Wouldn't that be better since the projector can go up to 150" already?

    • @BTheInstaller
      @BTheInstaller  2 месяца назад

      132" is a seamless screen. That's the point. Does that answer? I am unsure if you're asking that. Yes the projector itself can display on both.

    Fyi, if u are thinking of purchasing any UST projector, with an ALR screen, you are only getting around 100 nits peak brightness. Stick with a TV.

    • @BTheInstaller
      @BTheInstaller  2 месяца назад +1

      It's brighter than 100 nits... but just fyi that's about what a movie theater is. These are brighter than that for sure. It's all relative and most are to be watched in darker rooms

    Hi guys, today is 8/7/24. UK🇬🇧
    I emailed AWOL regarding seamless 100” 120” 132” and 150” seamless ALR WALL-MOUNT Screen.
    They replied, all seamless!
    Considering the time you post this video to today, just wondering if their info was true.
    I am interested in the 150”. Just like to be reassured if seamless.🤔
    Can you please find out if so? Much appreciate.🙏🏾
    Thanks.
    🫶🏻🇬🇧
    PS: if the projector is on the floor in an 8ft room, do you reckon 150” would fit in?🤔

    • @BTheInstaller
      @BTheInstaller  2 месяца назад +1

      No, the 150 is not seamless. That's the point of my video here. The 132" is.
