      Am i a masochist for starting with the Audi? It's what I used on AC so I just went on with it... now I'm kinda afraid of kerbs lol (Monza, Imola, Bathurst are the first tracks that come to mind). Is it something that can be fixed with setups or should I just try to main another car? Not sure, I get mixed feelings with it. It's a blast to drive around Spa for example (I can manage mid-high 2:19's with the Evo II) but at Monza (I get Ascari nightmares at night) and Nurburgring it feels like ass. (I do something like 1:51's and high 1:58's, yikes). Maybe I'm still bad at these tracks though

      I agree with ferrari 488 evo is good to cornering for beginners.
      but, how about new audi r8 lms evo ll?
      I think old audi r8 lms evo is unstable to cornering. so, at first I'm very embarassed to car.
      but, new dlc's audi lms evo ll is a little bit more stable with corners and good balanced than old one.

    For me it was the relative surprise Lexus, not as competitive in an experienced field but easy to setup, decent tire wear, good in mid and fast corners and the best, most stable and quickest in the rain. The Lexus is also very consistent from track to track...unless it's a track with long straights, I find it to be a fun, consistent and predictable car. Avoid sausage curbs though! Finally, it sounds amazing! Great video Jards, thank you sir!

      @@cakarbilal bit harder to handle and less aero than m4 but I have to agree, that it has more balanced pace across the tracks than m4 and bit more of high speed (Lex 266 km/h on kemmel straight braking vs 262-263 bmw on stock aero settings). It's' just bit snappy outta slow/mid corners, so bit harder for rookies imo. Requires bit different driving technique. But sound and funwise great car. I went for the Jaguar XK. No idea why, but when I was trying out other cars, it felt like it suited my style the best - massive power and speed on straights, because I can't do corners very well. If I can stay with the car in front, they're pretty much dead once we're at the end of the main straight and it's braking time.
    2nd pick is the AMG GT, also massive power, but less than the Jaguar and incredibly neutral handling. Kind of like a butler, you tell it what you need, and it will process your request and deliver not exactly the way you want it to, but the way it should. And that counts for something

    I'm a Ferrari guy. I tried the other cars mentioned in this video (and others) and NOTHING compares to the Ferrari. Now, that being said, you have to know how to drive a Ferrari. To me, it has some absolutely amazing perks, and if you know how to take advantage of them, it screams on the track. First, you have to rev the crap out of it. It likes to live in the red line. And if you know how to do that, not only will it have screaming power out of a curve, but it engine brakes like a champ. If you don't know to do that, the engine will bog a lot, and it will never be as powerful as it can be. Second, the brakes are VERY touchy. It's not the kind of car you can slam on the brakes and coast. Engine and trail braking techniques are a must. Lastly, as mentioned, curbs can really unsettle the car. Badly. It will spin out immediately if you get too far into a curb and hit the sausage even a little. And as an extra added bonus, the sound of the engine is heavenly! Great video!

    I think this list is how to start and be competitive quickly. If you're not an experienced driver you might find it hard to drive McLaren for example. I think the best car for a beginner is the GTR! Super safe you never really lose the rear and with lower level competition you dont notice the speed difference so much.

    I thought I was crazy when I started driving the 720s because it did not like trail braking... or at least it did not like the way I did trail braking coming from other cars like the Ferrari and Mercedes. It seems to like (for me anyway) being a little harder on the brakes both applying them and lifting... and then powering through. It is really a very different experience.

    I started with ACC recently and I was making my own list, by going through all tracks and cars and give them a proper try.
    I came to similar car list.
    1. Nissan
    2. Ferrari
    3. Mclaren
    4. BMW
    5. Aston Martin
    4 out of 5 cars matched your list, but Bentley didn't make it for me at all. It just doesn't inspire confidence at all in me and I find it difficult to push without losing control frequently. I have several cars above it, that I feel much more comfortable to push in.
    I would replace Bentley with Mercedes, Lamborghini or Nissan as all of those feel more stable, nimble or confidence inspiring than Bentley to me.
    I haven't done any endurance events and didn't try to create my own setups, so when I start doing those, I might change my opinion about Bentley.

    • @virtualawakening2299
      @virtualawakening2299 Год назад

      @virtualawakening2299 Год назад

      Nah, man, you have to try out every car. the one that Feels right is the One that IS right. Unless winning is your only reward. Then the Aston definitely isn't it. This is a rookie best car to learn the game and start on list... The Ferrari is the WORST at curbs and shouldn't be on the Beginner's list at all. I'd say the McLaren is somewhat bad on curbs too. You have to feel out every car. Don't be ashamed to molest all of them. Pick the one that makes you smile like your avatar pic!

    Nice vid. As a rookie I drove Lexus and old 488 (pre update) in my first leagues. But now I really enjoy 720S. I could not drive porsche before but now I'm getting used to it, you definitely need to get your head prepared for it though, you cannot be lazy!!
    Would be cool to see what you do as a driver going between front engine, mid engine, and rear engine cars. I am not good enough to adapt, so I just choose cars that suit my driving style, rather than trying to change my driving per car. For example I cannot get the Aston V8 to turn in!!

    What’s your thoughts on the newer AUDI evo ii for a noobie.
    I’ve been in the macca for x2 seasons but I’m getting over it’s terrible curb behaviour… I tested the audi the other day and it feels very similar to the macca but tends to handle curbs nicer.

    • @virtualawakening2299
      @virtualawakening2299 Год назад

      Yes, Jardier. No mention of the Audi Evo II in either the top 5 best or worst? But It's one of the most popular cars in your live streams... The Porsche, Honda, Bummer and Ferrari are on those lists, but the Audi II is absent, even though you complain about it sometimes... Is the Audi II just middle of the pack? I mean it's really guud for skilled racers, but is it all that for a rookie??? I think it's top 3 fastest for me, but feels a little stiff or weird. But I'm just a rook.

    The new Audi is also good beginner car - it drives a bit like the MacLaren but doesn't die on curbs as easily compared to the MacLaren
    As a beginner myself I can't seem to drive the Bentley or Aston. I spin out in those 2 cars so easily even when I try to be careful on the throttle. I don't have the same issue with mid engine cars, and even the Porsche is easier to drive in that regard.
