Error of My Ways (Jesse Myers, piano)

Error of My Ways was composed for my solo piano recital in Seattle, WA on 10/13/17 at the Chapel Performance Space. Speakers surround the audience and play each of the six or more recordings of the piece- each speaker playing a unique recording. The work also is performed on the piano during the audio playback. This RUclips video is, of course, a stereo mix-down of the six-channel soundtrack.
The goal of the work is to demonstrate variations in time and space among the different recordings and present these tempo inconsistencies as something beautiful rather than erroneous. In order to stay true to the goal, I did not allow myself to use a click-track or listen to a previous recording during each take.
