Cursed weapons are very situational. I typically use mine by starting out with regular weapons, and when my health goes down beneath 33% I switch to the cursed weaponry mid battle. You’re already down on 33% Health that you won’t gain back anyways, so it’s win-win. Of course if you’re a *pro gamer* that doesn’t loose health that often, just wear them as your standard loadout. The cursed spear(s) are also good for crowd control, since you can do massive damage while keeping your enemies at bay. Thank you for coming to my tedtalk

During the fight you both started to make weird moves "à la helicopter" and i still don't understand why.....was it on purpose , was it just the adrenaline on the edge of the moment, of was it just to show to the world your epic badassness ?

You did make a very good video but you forgot about the "gift from the gods" quest reward weapon, sheild, and mount. The sword is called Ultima blade and the shield is called ziedrich. The sword has 3/4 crit rate and 3/4 adrenaline regen and it's gold ability is health for crit. Not to mention the crazy shield with 3/4 ranged resistance and 3/4 damage absorption rate and gold ability is bleeding on block. Also if you have these equipped with the mount on the regular bayek outfit it look AWESOME!!!!

There are the ones with health on kill which are pretty cool, but swords/staffs are overpowered
im myself happy that the stats are not randomized that gives the developers better chances to actually keep the game balanced besides i always hate when the power of your character depends on RNG already not a big fan of the haker chests but at least the stats are all the same

Great video! I have several of these weapons and you described them perfectly. My two personal favorites that I carry are the Vipers Tooth and the Anubis Sword. The combo of the two is awesome, especially when against a group. Injure and reap, rinse and repeat.
I personally like the ultima blade. From what I can tell very few people have/ know what it is. It's a a literal gift from the gods
The serpent axe is insane.... It's poison spread is massive, and has bleeding on hit... Absolute best with that thing, and it does mad damage
Hercules Gladius regular sword is the best for me. Critical hit rate 4 and combo multiplier 4 with health on hit. Fantastic in big boss battles with the health steal each hit, really helps.
Also love the bark of Ra (my secondary weapon) for the fire bonus and increased range.
im really happy that someone finally acknowledges the golden wolf in my humble opinion it can keep with the anubis sword dps wise as it crits more often and the crits are higher its not overpowerd or anything but if you are bad at dodging then the golden wolf might actually be better then the anubis sword even
Have played through the game with the vipers tooth since level 18. Always upgrading, tried some other weapons here and there but always ended up maining the vipers tooth. Such a good sword for boss fights or phylakes. Just hit them, back off and let the bleeding and poison do its thing.
The viper sickle is amazing because the high poison and bleeding makes it to where you two shot by just waiting

I actually like the golden wolf more than the conductor of souls. From my experience the golden wolf and conductor of souls is do the same thing except the golden wolf has a really high crit chance and pretty high crit damage so though the conductor of souls does more base damage, the golden wolf's crits happen often and will be more poweful than a crit from the conductor of souls. That and you don't have to be as careful in combat cuz you'd be relying on crits and not you combo multiplier.

I just started the game and I often use a fire bow. (I am at lvl 14) As a tool I use the fire bomb. Fire bomb is hard to aim at long range but you can damage big groups with it (you must unlock that ability first). If you want to use the fire bow, dont focus on a headshot, hit a body shot to burn your enemies. As meele weapon, I use an axe that heals you on hit. I use a heal on hit weapon because I like to do harder quests than my current lvl. You should play stealthy first, and if someone attacks you, healing on a hit is great. I also have the regeneration during a fight ability. I know it is not that good but I really like this combination of weapons. Sickle swords are also good. I got one by killing a tax collector. I dont remember the quest name, but at the start of the quest you help a villager put his harvests to a cart. Then you kill the tax collector

I love the Imitation Siwan Khopesh because of the damage it does and I've been using it on enemies up to 3 levels higher than me and still killing them easily with some well timed dodges and parrys
Yes. Especially upgraded
Sahalin axe. Use every playthrough. Can do an easy 31k damage in one heavy. Easily deals with enemies 16 levels higher than me.
I prefer sickle swords, Fang got me through most of the game and I’ve swapped to the Pearl of Dur Jakin as it does health on hit and bleeding on hit.
I find health on kill superior to health on hit imo

I love the sarisa spear, its cursed and I've been using it since about level 15 where I got it randomly, got it again from a phylake but its so good and can hit many enemies in one hit

I strayed away from cursed weapons but I got the “Falcata” I believe and fell in love with it

I'm a big fan of the Golden Feather combined with the Medusa's Gaze. Lots of sleep procs that give you those sweet sweet midcombat chain assassinates. I also have the composite bow and fourth plague bows for heals if needed. Works really well against the elephants and the Sobek trial of the gods too, sadly I missed out on the Anubis one.

I got Ceremonial Staff from a low level enemy and I didnt care for it first but when I using it I absolutely love the damage that the scepter do

Love it. It’s my go to weapon. I like hepzefas sword but it’s annoying when it sets me on fire. I also like Amuns Might (COP DLC).

Golden wolf is a good weapon but Hepzefa's Sword and the Viper's Tooth are my personal favourites
I main the golden wolf for the crits and health, used to use the fire sword till I ended up accidentally burning down whole villages on accident and said screw it lol

I use a Health on Hit Light bow, and a Poison on hit Sickle Sword. So OP for horde battles and anything if you're being surrounded by enemies

Ive been using weapons with heal on hit mainly, more specifically of the spear variety, the melee range helps alot, plus you can hit multiple people with 1 swing so it helps to clear weaker hoards
I always use that cursed weapon and it never disappointed me even if it curses me with my 66% hp.. it's truly op and is pretty useful

I personally like heavy blunts especially the one the Phylake uses it does an insane amount of damage and the heavy attack is amazing
My personal favorites are Fatal Duet, Serpent Axe, Ash Bow, Trophy Hunter and Tomb Protector.
I'm more of a fast type of person that likes quick blows, these two blades make like the description says, a beautiful sound on kill and it's a really strong weapon on its own with fast adrenaline recharge. Though when fighting animals I use the serpent axe, the combos are neat, together with the strong damage and poison on hit; it's a guaranteed death to your opponent. As that stealthy player, I use the sniper-typed bow and a hunterbow as my main and close range both are very powerful. I picked the Tomb Protector when I first got it because it's from the Anubis gear set and I don't care enough about shields anyway, since dual blades are shields on their own. It just looked kind of cool for my Serpent Axe.
If anyone has other weapons they think are better, let me know. I'd like to stay in the same categories of weapons though.
the conductor of souls is easily the best.. you literally never die and it does a massive amount of dmg. the ultima blade is my second best because it's actually stupid op and is always more powerful than any other weapon when upgraded which is really odd. The ultima blade also always has a higher quality than all weapons so I believe it's one of the top for dmg.

Mustapha’s blade is awesome. It has instant charging and bleeding on hit and a really good critical hit rate.
i can agree about the viper's tooth sword. i got one from the nomad's bazaar and i used it for the entirety of the second act.

If you get the curse of the Pharos, one of the gods (I don't remember) drops a heavy axe that charges instantly and in my opinion it's good for big hordes of enemies.
Vipers tooth is my favourite! Always use it, also use sobeks tooth🙃

a few days ago i was doing redas mission to kill someone and recover an artifact. the mob i had to kill (just a regular soldier) DROPPED THE CEREMONIAL STAFF! reda gave me a rare piece of shit for the mission, as usual. it's the first, and probably only, legendary drop i got from a regular mob.

Conductor of Souls sword is the best sword in the game. Mine does 412 damage and I’ve invested ability points into the Master Warrior skill 21 times.

In my opinion my favorite weapon is this version of the heppi sword that has higher crit rate and damage, it also has instant charge attacks so you can melt regular troops

I personally think Sarissa is a great weapon. I almost 1 shot the final boss (for Bayek) using the overpower ability with Sarissa.

I really wished they had given us the scythe from the Gladiator Arena after killing The Brothers.
That would have been such an amazing weapon to use in game not only for it's uniqueness but also for the cosemetics.
Edit: I just remembered I had a screenshot of Bayek Holding the scythe after killing the two brother with the Phylake Outfit on, by the gods was it amazing.
I also love the Divide et Impera. It’s strong as hell when just holding r1 on ps4. It keeps going until everything that’s within its range is dead xD

I LOVE my Imitation Siwan Khopesh. I have it upgraded to where its damage is 607/s and ive never felt more unstoppable.
I almost bought the Shark Fin with Helix points but opted for Hercules’ Gladius instead ( on aale for 168!). I was also lucky enough to get Viper’s Tooth was my first legendary weapon and used it exclusively until I got the Golden Lion from the Outsider. Later I got the Ceremonial Scepter and No Borders but I guess I’m not good enough to use cursed weapons. I hardly ever use Sarissa and I even SOLD OFF the Imitation Siwan Khopesh! I know... I know. 🙄 You didn’t really get into bows much. I guess there really isn’t any bad ones. I’m happy I have at least one Legendary of each type. Great vid, thanks!

Eru Ilúvatar I've just gotten this game as well on boxing day. Looking around, it seems the trials will come back. I hope they do, and i hope when they do we can still get the old items. Seems silly if they didnt as plenty of people would have gotten this at xmas and those people would not have the time to get to level 40. Why have an event 2 months after release at xmas time that runs for a super short period? Itd mean only people who got the game on release or in Nov could get it when theyd have more sales in xmas which would suck for a fair amount of people. Really, I just want that sweet Anubis outfit haha

I'm partial to the Storm Blades paired with the best spear I can find (usually one with health on kill). This lets me dance around single or small groups of enemies chipping away at them and constantly knocking them down or staggering them, and finishing them off with overpower attacks while also being able to quickly switch to a spear for larger crowd control or to get some health back sometimes nearly killing several enemies with the Storm Blades then finishing several off at once for a large health restore. Saved by ass more than once fighting the gods.
That's my strategy anyways.
trust me, use sarissa w overpower double damage and you hit for up to 16k damage in one attack

Itd be good to see the shield beimd used whilst using storm blades, much like how a celt held a dagger with his shield. You'd be fast hitting with a good shield.
I like fire weapons myself so my favorites are the Bow of Ra and the hunter bow crescent moon and my favorite predator bow is the smoke and mirrors but that’s just my long range favorites

One of my best faves are ceremonial staff and the underrated mustaphas sword!
You also have a chance to get the golden wolf from papyrus puzzles too and In case you don’t know all of the rewards you get from the papyrus puzzles match your level when you get them

Warrior Bow: Jackals Gaze
Hunter Bow: Ash Bow, Deathstorm (Crescent moon is better but harder to obtain)
Predator Bow: Smoke and mirrors, Trophy hunter, Jebel Barkal
Quick Bow: Composite bow, Neith, Bow of Wadjet, (Recently got a flaming quick bow which I think is really cool but I haven't used enough to see if it's one of the best)

I'm really not a fan of the regular swords at all tbh. So vanilla to use. I prefer the sickle swords, scepters and spears as they're actually fun and interesting to fight with.

those weapons are sorta op til Lv 26 or 30 from what I heard
Heavy blades are the best. If yous have attack and push perk, there is literally no end to the push attack combo and you can even do it after a heavy attack. The combo is much much faster than the regular lights and is faster than even the regular sword lights.

I am new to AC and am looking for some melee tips. This is my first Xbox, I'm used to playing on PC so I'm a novice at using a controller. Can you recommend a video showing how to dodge, parry, block, combos, etc?

I use fang, keeping it upgraded and enjoying it's venomous effect on enemies. Indoor fights with fang does much damage with its poisoning effect

u can try that heka glitch if u want didnt spent anything and opened up 100 chests with that glitch lol and surprisingly its still working in 1.05 but a different way.. :D

I got the ceremonial staff from some random loot and I never equipped it until much later. I was not a fan of staffs back then.
As for swords, vox populi is better than fatal duet, since it has a longer reach and the instant charging perk.
Hyped got the ceremonial out of hekka chest!
