With the leaked release of the New 007 Goldene N64 HD, I'd figure it was the perfect time to make a side-by-side for that. But also I decided to add the Goldeneye Remake that is completely different. So really, it is 2 Side by Sides in One. Enjoy We will be looking at 007 Goldeneye for Nintendo 64, and the unreleased Xbox Live Arcade version. Also, the Goldeneye 007 Wii and Nintendo Ds port, plus the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 Goldeneye 007 Reloaded ports. Oh yeah

Hey man, thanks for the great content, break from reality to look back to a simple time.
just a little thing for future videos. It's not "texture popping", that's actually "LOD or level of detail". thats why you see that change of size on the arms in those guards, for performance purposes most games if not all, have diferent models for the characters or stuff that's in the map (mostly low poly version of those depending on what distance has been set for them to change), so this way you dont waste resources rendenring something at full poly count if it's far away from the camera.

Wii's Reloaded used the same free aim as the N64's original
@@inrainbowsfan94 funny. Black Ops had Goldeneyes gameplay in some places. Dual wielding smgs while gunning down Soviets in an undercover mission.

actually people do know how XBLA Was leaked. it appeared on partnernet for a short amount of time with its code name "bean" a reference to sean bean the actor who played 006. people then downloaded it. and a group named Fyodorovna released it. Fyodorovna is natalya's last name
I love the N64 version. Reloaded disappointed me, heavily. Couldn't get into it, had a different vibe.

I actually much prefer the Wii version the graphics atmosphere are better while 360 just looks like shiny plastic cod graphics
this game feels at home the most on Wii since it was first originally developed for it, whereas PS360 feel like a generic shooter.

They need to make this game run in 4K 60hz on the Xbox one X,and in 120hz.They need to put it on the series s running in 120hz at 1080p.The game is old,and won’t take a lot of resources and give the option of reloaded version or original version.I like pierce brosnan better than Daniel Craig because he is the better James Bond.

Does 007 Goldeneye Reloaded work fine on the Xenia ? I have been planning on playing it for quite a while now.
Reloaded also took away 50% of the Bond stuff, all secondary objectives afaik and made it way more CoD than it ever was D;
You can believe me or not but I prefer Wii version. More details even if PS3 and Xbox 360 are more sharper.

I hate motion. Never said the best. But can be fun for a few mins.
@@RookerVision I think you hate gimmicky motion. Sniping in Killzone 2 opened my eyes to good motion lol Tilt aiming for subtle changes is amazing and super helpful and were getting lots more games with support for it ❤ @peffsee: lots of times. Killzone, Splatoon, Zelda, Doom, Overwatch, Fortnite, CoD Mobile, etc
I use Steam and make tilting emulate the mouse when I hold L2 and it's on par with a mouse for small aiming changes and soooo good once you get the hang of it. Motion just has an unfair bad rep cause... Well I mean Lair exists. Red Steel exists...

metroid prime 3, the Conduit 1/2, GoldenEye were just some of the fps games with motion controls done right which worked brilliantly.

Regarding removals from the Wii version, I said on a comparison of Dante's Inferno on PSP and PS3, that sometimes when you upgrade visuals, you can't keep everything as the cumulative load could get too high. Or maybe the Wii has some magical mirror rendering powers (as seen in RETDC).

@@RookerVision What? Wii? Reflection rendering powers? Darkside Chronicles? All of the "above"?
its a technique called "render to texture" where they pretty much render the image from a camera attached to the player but mirror it and maybe block out some stuff. I believe they used it less after gamecube/wii era because it became too expensive with all the extra geometry and effects on 360 and ps3.
The blue fog? Well the N64 fog is used to cover up short draw distance. It’s a feature that was used heavily early in its life cycle.
I realize that. It just the 360 removed it without increasing the draw distance on the classic version.
Nintendo is just that one kid who gets hall monitor just to have power but it turns out they don’t have power at all just the ability to tattle and no one likes him but he has cool toys which is why people hang out with him

I had a lot of fun in the multiplayer mode of Turok 2, I played a lot, for me one of the best shooting games too.

Naa n64 version looks better. The blurry graphics makes the texture looks better than the hd crisp sharpness imo.
The xbox 360 version is what the wii version looked like to me as a kid.

As someone with only a liking of the original, I hated that wii/360 reimagining. Bland was the name of the game. The cool soundtrack even isnt there.
I have been really enjoying the xbla version though.

I've played GoldenEye 360 a lot, they made a mod for the xenia Emulator that you can play with mouse and keyboard, the game practically becomes a pc game!
