Perhaps ther was a time that Canadian content needed to be protected, but today they should be able to compete in the global market. In the past the CBC was needed to link the country, but again today the tech exists to connect individual people, so their reason for existing is no longer required. They need to pay their own way.
Today there are private radio networks that actually broadcast over all of Canada live that do a better job than the CBC ever did. And the hosts are neutral. Just imagine that!!!! One example: The Roy Green Show. Excellent!!!¡
I used to watch the CBC. There was a time when it was great. It wasn't too political, and when it was, they went ruthlessly after politicians of ALL parties. The Royal Canadian Air Farce, the Red Green Show, this Hour Has 22 Minutes... they had some fantastic programming. It was funny - like Canadian humour funny. Now it's just a bland woke cesspool of despair and pandering to the Liberal/NDP uniparty. It's unwatchable, and it's sad. The same goes for CBC Radio.
It's reasonable that the CBC would moderate their language by not using terrorist. Both Hamas & the IDF use terror as a military engagement tactic. The news division wanted to appear non-partisan & objective which should be the baseline for good journalism.

Wayne and Shuster used to define comedy in Canada. Today Justin and Jagmeet are the clowns of the CBC.
I saw one of their columns on the miracle of a man had a baby.
Some men are now women, so anything is possible, according to idiots.
20 years ago I lost faith in the CBC. Yes, I’m all for defunding. The whole bonus thing is disgusting.
F the cbc, never watched it since 35 years ago
Go Back to 1960s tv
I remember when the CBC lived up to it's mission to provide Canadians with quality programming with NO COMMERCIALS. Long gone are those days. Today the CBC is the media department for the liberal government. Towing the 'woke' line.
And biased! Just listen to the words used to describe conservatives as opposed to liberals. That memo regarding HAMAS leadership does not surprise me one iota. It proves the bias at CBC.
I approve of this message.
Great way to "Launder" money for Privileged Lie-berals
Perhaps ther was a time that Canadian content needed to be protected, but today they should be able to compete in the global market. In the past the CBC was needed to link the country, but again today the tech exists to connect individual people, so their reason for existing is no longer required. They need to pay their own way.
Today there are private radio networks that actually broadcast over all of Canada live that do a better job than the CBC ever did.
And the hosts are neutral. Just imagine that!!!! One example:
The Roy Green Show. Excellent!!!¡
Propaganda I have NOTHING to do with. Get rid of it.
Oui Oui Oui, il est grand temps de mettre la hache dans cette organisation autant côté Anglais que Français…
I can’t say for lite comments I get threatened with cencering ???🤷♂️🇨🇦🤷♂️
