Same, I took 3 days off and I wasnt eating well and did yesterdays workout to get back and yeah I went 100% but not my usual 100%, had to dial it back by taking extra breaks and do some modifications but felt good anyway, just wanted to finish.

Ever tried, ever failed, never mind, try again and fail better. If we never put ourselves outside of our comfort zones, we will never know our actual capability. Go ahead and try. It is better to try and fail and learn/test out what your thoughts/mind tells you in the process than regret never knowing if you can do it. Change your mindset and attitude and the rest will show itself. We can do it. Believe it.
Sydney I think I've told you this too many times but I love you and your workouts and your energy. I love when you tell us "trust yourselves" and encourage us to go heavier, to try going heavier; when you tell us "if you can't, go back to the lighter weight but at least try". Because when I CAN lift heavier, it feels so good! And if you hadn't encouraged me, I wouldn't have tried because I don't trust myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you! My new obsession is taking your workouts and treating them as if they were pilates... taking 2kg weights and really pulsing through it to feel the burn... 😁 Why, you ask? Because there is no other fitness instructor that I've ever found that is as incredible as you, Sydney... First time ever - actually tried 20s on the last set of shoulder press had to alternate - but I tried!!! I’ve been hesitant due to an injury. Now that I recovered, I gave it a go. Did I fail and have to drop back to 15s? Yes...AND I tried. What did you try today??? Let’s keep trying together 💪🏼 🙌 💕

SO excited that, on my 33 birthday, it was an arm day! I pushed myself to do 20lbs for shoulder presses, 30lbs for chest presses and stuck with 10lbs for tricep kickbacks and shoulder raises. Sydney is amazing!! She is the ONLY I have stuck with for longer than a few days. I'm on three months now and loving it. I still need a lot of modifications but I know as long as I show up I'm doing what I need to do.

I think the SAME thing every time she tells us her shoulder press weight. I stay with or above her weights on pretty much everything else but she absolutely destroys me on shoulder press (and occasionally bicep curl) weight!

Solid challenging workout today, getting so much better at sit ups, I can actually sit all the way up where as before I could only crunch! Loving the gradual progression in strength, being able to gauge it through the plank finisher lol and I always love a good arm workout! Crushed it! 💪🏾✨💛

When I first started with you Sidney, I would get scared before every workout because I found you intense; yet everyday I came back for more because your combination of moves were new, unique, and interesting. Keeping up with you though challenging was enjoyable. I’ve been training with you for about three years now and I’m happy to say I no longer have that intrepid fear of keeping up; only a smidge at times cus you still crazy with some moves. Lol. So today is Chinese new year. And I thought I was not able to workout. But, after meeting my family, I managed to do this although I was not in the mood for workout. I did this with this week's leg workout from yours and seriously I was happy because I made time for myself. I am gonna take a shower and eat yummy dinner with my family after this! After months of physical therapy for my shoulder I did this workout with 5 lb weights and didn't have to modify! Such a huge milestone for me.
