It's interesting some of these places were once Dreams of people. Now they're abandoned and left to the seasons. Makes you wonder what's become of the owners?
That Pioneer Village used to be a pretty cool place to stop. Lots of arts and crafts and homemade items to look at or buy. Haven't been down that way in quite a while. Thanks for taking us along.
I grew up in SE Alabama in the 40's and 50's. In those days these small towns were filled with busy, hardworking, friendly people. Watching this and seeing the current desolation and emptiness where there was once laughter and love breaks what litte remains of my heart. The Interstates had a lot to do with this emptiness and sadness. Thanks for the memories.
I really liked the house of prayer. What a great idea ! Thank you Adam for taking us along on your travels. Always enjoy these videos. Hopefully you're getting some much needed rest today now that you're home. 👍👍
I am loving these trips through memories, and reminders of yesteryear. They're mesmerizing, nostalgic, and sad, all at the same time. WOW, there's certainly a wide variety of interests you have visited. Many of us are just enjoying these videos so much, Adam. That deserted, little *village of shops, etc. must have been something in its heyday. That building in FL, you once explored years ago, looks like it just closed for the day, from the outside, obviously not the inside... I'm happy for you. Thanks so much, Adam.👏🤠🛣
Theres something about being a viewer watching you take us on these travel adventures that i love, like the pioneer village would i ever get to do that not in a million years, love these adventures Adam Thankyou, glad you made it home, see you in your next adventure
That's pretty cool, that you found the center of alabama. A couple months ago I found the geographical center of the state of Tennessee, in Murfreesboro Tennessee. I love to find the unusual stops too. Presently I have just pulled into Barberville, FLA, at the Barberville Yard Art Emporium, a place in which you had previously experienced on a road trip.
I think this is where you shine Adam. I always enjoyed your old videos and I'm really enjoying these new ones. Outsiders home was excellent..... Keep up the great work

As an Alabamian, I appreciate the respect you showed to some of our oddities. If memory serves me correctly, many of the pioneer village buildings were authentic and were relocated there. It hurts to see it in such decay because it was a great arts and crafts stop for quite a while. I have to tell you that when I used to go that way with my kids, as we approached the peach water tower, we were all looking for the 'big butt in the sky'!! :-)
Thanks Adam. You were less than 5 miles from where I live. Wondered if you were going to stop. Really looking forward to you traveling next year. Your backroads are my favorite. Stay safe.
