If you're going to be in Las Vegas for a minute look up video bob he has a house there he has his own DeLorean time machine another movie Cars pretty cool
As someone who lives in Vegas….this I am sure will be another great adventure. And I have been through there a thousand times and you have stopped at places I never have.Terrific!

Adam, when you get to your next night stop. Remove your air filter on your engine and beat it out on the parking lot. Lightly beat it out. That sand storm could have got your filter pretty full. It probably wouldn't hurt to stop at a popular auto parts store and replace the air filter. You may not even need tools. It could have snap latches. Probably $20 and a bit better MPG

In a few weeks I will leave Sacramento for a 17 state road trip with my daughter. I’ve never done anything like it and I’m both excited and scared. Las Vegas is my first stop.
Hi Adam, thanks for sharing your amazing road trips, love them, that windstorm looks very scary, glad you made it through, hope you get home safely, love you
That was awsome, Adam!! But, can't wait to see what you do in Las Vegas!!! Glad you retrieved your hay!! And that's a great picture of you at the Las Vegas sign!!
We lived off of the 15 freeway and used to drive from corona, through rancho to Vegas. 31/2 hour drive for us with no stops. I remember all of this so well! Lol. Thank you. Been to Peggy Sues many times, always took our kids there, calico ghost town is coming
Hi Adam I hope you're doing well and staying safe in your travels thank you for what you've been doing on the channel for all these years it's appreciated I know by me and a lot more other people stay safe and well keep doing what you've been doing on your channel like I said it is it appreciated Stay safe and well Stay safe and well 🤗😊❤
Adam, thank you for your amazing travels on the land, air & feet! Maybe on water one day or train too! Thanks for doing what you love & sharing it with us! Safe travels back home to Celebration!🐿✌ 🌞
As you love trains so much Adam, have you thought of doing a long train journey at all? that would be cool to watch. I'm glad you managed to rescue your cap!
Adam.... I remember the "old days" when a sign said "No Trespassing" or "Do Not Enter",crossing them was your "M-O".... love this road side exploration... My favorite is still your tour of Los Angeles "First of a Kind" or "Original Location Of" restaurant tour during first year of Covid...
HEY, ADAM THE WOO & Big The Foot 👣 Well Cool glad to see that The Trip continue to head down that old Back Road and some Old towns and Thanks for taking me Down them old back Roads
That bridge early on in the video around the 4:40 mark was used in a Foo Fighters music video back in 2002-3. It was a pretty big deal at the time to have a band of that stature up here shooting a video.
Cool, Adam fueled up in Barstow next door to my house , 300 feet away lol so cool. We saw him across the street from before and at the first Del taco here in Barstow before :) so cool.
Thanks for sharing your SoCal exit adventures as you head back across country. Great train views😁. Missed Justin a week ago by an hour. Maybe I'll catch you in SW Ks on your way through. Two Thumbz 👍👍
Adam, those weird light towers you saw is a solar farm. Lots of mirrors around them pointing suns rays to top of the tower to create steam. There are several of these farms just south of Vegas.
Hey Adam--helpful hint: I lived in Nevada for 5 years and trust me, the locals get super perturbed if you mispronounce the name of their state. It's actually 'Ne VAD a' (like 'add uh'). You're welcome. heh. Great road trip video as always--thanks!
But, that's the Anglo explanation. lol! FACT: The name is Spanish! Just like Colorado! Everyone should say it with the Spanish pronunciation! Problem with that explanation is that a ton of Anglos will purposefully mispronounce, and call you "politically correct", if you tell them that!
Amazing to see all those containers headed east by train from the ports of LA-Long Beach! PS - Calico Ghost Town (San Bernardino County Regional Parks system) is located near Barstow / Yermo. Great place to visit!
Thank you for this video. I live in NY but my younger childhood years were in California. My father passed when I was 6 and in the area you filmed in Apple Valley. Also have memories of a very bad sand storm so that was neat to see. Thank you for being you!
After driving through that sand storm, you should remove the air filter from your engine and tap the sand out of it. If it's really dirty, just replace it. The loss of air flow to your engine can cause it to lose power. What you called "lights" were not lights; that is a solar reflector farm and those towers were really bright from all the mirrors reflecting the sun onto them.
I looked that up, too. Solar power plant. But, in all that sand and dust they looked like something out of the new Dune movie. Spice harvesters, perhaps.
And put a new $5 fuel filter in your vehicle. Cheaper than being stranded when dirt pulled from the bottom of your gas tank. Take you 5 minutes to replace.
You are so funny and Daphne too cute. I am landlocked working so I wouldn't get anywhere if it wasn't for you. Loved Central Florida videos. And LA. Stay safe on the road and will check in daily.
As a desert dweller, I could never leave. Even taking vacations, I miss the desert after a couple weeks. I have a large walled family compound with several houses and a large warehouse for cars, trucks, ATV's, Jeeps, and classic cars. Humans came from the desert. It's home.
Hi Adam, the BNSF train company is actually Burlington Northern Santa Fe. Two different companies that merged years ago. But I imagine you knew that. Thanks for taking me along for the ride. Wonderhussy Adventures did a vlog on the Liberty Sculpture Park. It was vandalized by the Chinese government awhile back, the owner is very anti-Communist Chinese.
So cool to see you started off in Rancho Cucamonga! That's my hometown. Always funny to see people talk of route 66. To me it was always just Foothill Boulevard haha. Awesome video as always.
That exact spot, within a half mile or so, is the "Day A Train Hit A Helicopter" as the news said at the time, when a big fire had firejumpers hovering too close to a train coming through a curve. I-15, Cajon Pass.
I spent my last two high school years in Apple Valley Senior High. Trigger used to get a rude paint job once or twice a year. Unfortunately, I never made it out to the Roy Rogers museum--I ran away from home and joined the Marines at the end of 1974. Sky King was filmed in Apple Valley and points nearby, too.
wishing would have headed east thru tucson but i remember when moved out there to FL came thru here stopped at THE THING in Benson AZ & a bit later started your journey in Texas thru that hellacious ice storm / blizzard
You missed "the world's largest gas station" over in Jean. 97 pumps and sevral desert racing and movie cars inside. Walk-in beer cooler, White Castel Burger resturant, huge selection of souvineers and snacks.
I live in Apple valley and some of those trains can hold you up at a stop for almost an hour on Rancheros.Trigger moves often.lol......every few years. Some good restaurants in this Spirit Center!Too bad you missed the Bottle park!!That sand storm was nothing.....we have had them where its total darkness. You even skipped calico!!!!
Baker is our favorite stop before heading out to vegas from California,we are always in Vegas, our son lives in Vegas and works at their airport #southwestairlines 🛫
Adam is slowly morphing into vintage Huel Howser. "Here we are in downtown Apple Valley looking at this amaaaaazing cactus. That's just one more piece of...California gold."
Love ❤️ the Drive to Vegas been on that drive many times and I love the desert 🌵 more than you know so it was great to see once again but I was sorry you had to endure that awful sand storm also Alien Jerky looked like such a great place to check out but I’m glad you made it to Vegas hope you have fun there and I hope you meet up with you know who from Orlando can’t say the name don’t want to give any spoilers just in case you meet up so thanks again Adam for a interesting day as it always is with you now with now with that being said peace ☮️ love ❤️ and happiness to you Adam and I’ll see you on the next Road Trip Adventure also please be safe out there peace ☮️ out ✌️
very cool vlog! Thank you for showing Primm Valley. Sad to see Buffalo Bill's closed but a neighboring Primm Valley Resort and casino is open. That resort may be worth a visit if still open to see the supposedly real Bonnie and Clyde car..( I admit that the aliens in the window reminds me of the alien in the window for Oatman!)
I love people’s road trips to Vegas. I did it from Pennsylvania. Please say you are going to meet up with Dani702 while in Vegas. Or look for Pompsie my favorite Vegas blogger.
Arne's Royal Hawaiian Motel was a filming location for the movie "The Big Empty", a 2003 movie starring Jon Favreau, Joey Lauren Adams, Kelsey Grammar and Darryl Hannah.
John Kelly That reminded me, in the movie bad to the bone with Antonio Banderas there is a great long scene of him and Woody Harelson having breakfast at Mad Greek !
There is a twin of that horse statue, only two were made, commissioned from Roy Rodgers himself. If on top of the scoreboard at mile high stadium in Denver.
To me, the saddest thing about Baker was the end and removal of the Famous Bun Boy. I would stop there every trip I would make to Vegas first time was with my parents in 1974. The other was when State Line changed it's name to Primm. I remember staying there when they had only two hotels, one on either side called Cactus Kate and Whiskey Pete's. Such great times.
Another video making me envious. You and I share the same opinion of the desert! I recently retired after 36yrs at one place. I drove about 300-400 miles a week for that job so I'm not so quick to go cross country quite yet. Your videos make it very enticing! Been to Vegas twice but flew there. Would be so different to drive it and see neat stuff along the way. You are looking a might thinner too. Good for you man!
Wow that’s exciting when your videoing something right at home. I’ve been working and living here at Primm Valley Resorts for 25 years now. You’re right Buffalo Bill’s hasn’t reopened yet since the Covid shutdown. Only Primm Valley and Whiskey Pete’s are open. Buffalo Bill’s opened 3 times for only the weekends for 3 concerts this year. However on the 1st of the year 2023 it’s reopening permanently. Not sure of the exact day but in the 1st week of January. But yea that was fun watching the video and listening to you talking about the casino and the rollercoaster and stuff. Thanks for that.
Please don't tell me I'm the only one who joins Adam in saying "...shall you?" and "...is over." for every video. Dude you are on my bucket list of people to meet.
28:01 That isn't lights, that's actually the reflection of the sun you are seeing . The Ivanpah Solar Facility is the largest concentrated solar plant in the world, and when it opened in 2014 it promised to be the future of renewable energy. Solar thermal plants (like Solar One and Solar Two) use thousands of large moving mirrors, called heliostats, that track the sun and focus the reflected sunlight toward tall towers. The heat then boils water in the tower to create steam, which turns a turbine to generate electricity.
Wow Adam you brought a tear to my eye😢😢 with this video. I lived out in that area for 20 years. Well it was a place called Bullhead City AZ but I've been to Baker and Vegas many times in the 20 years I was there. If you like swap meets go to broad acres down near Nellis afb.

I love it when Adam looks at murals and talks to animals. There’s something calming about that.
I absolutely love this type of video, especially seeing abandoned places.
So cool, Adam... Thank you.👏🤠👏
Zzyzx..... have seen that sign many times in my 60+ years. Thank you for letting me see what is actually there.

Seeing Buffalo Bills brought back memories I forgot about. Yes, that rollercoaster was amazing. Not sure I'd appreciate it in my older age lol.
Adam, when you get to your next night stop. Remove your air filter on your engine and beat it out on the parking lot. Lightly beat it out. That sand storm could have got your filter pretty full. I ❤️ the big statue of Trigger. I need to get a photo of that one day.

Haunting desolation. You always uncover the past that is forgotten and invisible and make it a rare treasure. There is nobility in this.
