The man who lets them in and says good luck sounds like the same actor as the Drone, One. He has a distinctive voice. He was also the Nazi on the holodeck on Voyager during the World War 2 simulation and then on Enterprise when they were thrown back in time. He was also the Vulcan from the story Tpol told about her great, great, etc grandmother.

Garak always believed in "The end justifies the means".. he was the one who explained to Odo once that he regretted not shooting Damar in the back when he had the chance.. and when the Cardassian says "You wouldn't shoot a Carassian for this Bajoran woman.. " Garak's reply "How litle you understand me'", iluustrates how Garak sees things - Kira is necessary for the success for the operation, the Cardassian is not...
He regretted not shooting Dukat not Damar.

Damar, just displayed remarkable grasp of change of circumstances ( Cardassia was done as an independent empire) and political pragmatism..........Kira was more important to driving out the Dominion than his old friend Rusot, who was stuck in the past.
Kira is so beautiful it hurts.

First time when there was this mexican standoff between Rusot and Garak, I was sure Damar would just choose his buddy over the good guys. I was pissed, because I was sure, they would just kill Damar of. But I was pleasently suprised by our boy

I don’t understand what the benefit is of energy weapons such as that plasma rifle over modern real life weapons.
Little to no recoil, no need to reload and orders of magnitude higher capacity, larger injury radius, can be utilised as a tool (such as a welder), no elevation or windage to worry about, power is adjustable without changing ammunition.
