No he's not. These players get paid loads to perform. If I downed tools at my job do you think it would be tolerated. What do we know goes on behind closed doors? These players are lucky to be in the position they are. Most of us would love to be in that position, and appreciated what we have. Spoiled, he needs a good kick up the rear end like he's getting. No player is bigger than the club and that includes Ronaldo and Messi.

While I do think Ten Hag could have addressed the situation differently, I believe his statement was just the eruption of his frustration. He sent Sancho to the Netherlands with people he trusted for 3 months so that he could get back in shape, and get better mentally. A lot of coaches wouldn’t have went that far. For Jadon to not even put any effort in training most likely drove him and his staff crazy.
Agree with everything you said, as well as everything in the video. I think there are some bigger problem internally at United. The environment there may be so toxic that Sancho is affected mentally and not being able to perform (and to be honest, not only him who failed to perform here). And of course ETH is frustrated because last season he has done his best to help Sancho. This, along with Antony and Greenwood case, shows that there is something seriously wrong in this club.
I don't think this is anything unique to Man United, however, it's tough to play for that team because the criticism comes at you left, right & center. Everything is blown out of proportion by the media, fans, etc it's not only Sancho, look at Maguire or how they drove CR7 to make an uncharacteristic move with that Piers interview. As ETH said & as also mentioned by Mike Phelan recently, the culture wasn't that good at the club. CR7 got frustrated mainly because of this, not just the Board, but the players as well who didn't want to work at his level. That is still the same problem here, ETH is trying to change the club culture but there are going to be a lot of growing pains, unpopular decisions & lots of criticism plus calls for him to be sacked, which I think will eventually happen considering how impressionable the board at the club is with fan & media sentiment. While I agree that mental is an important factor, to what extent should it be catered to, especially for players like Sancho? At some point, Manager is also tasked to enable their worker aka players. You can't afford to not act upon underperforming players due to their mental health issue. EtH gave plenty of chances for Sancho, trying to shield him from the limelight with the break mentioned here. However, that doesn't mean EtH can keep shying Sancho away from his main responsibility as a player, which is to play up to a standard.

Um, nahhhh Rashford (and Saka) was also in a similar state like this after the Euro. He was also being benched agaisnt Wolves last season. But, I never heard him whining once and look at him now. I haven't mentioned that he also fought his place back from peak Alexis Sanchez don't you forget that. So, to me it's still Sancho's "fault".

I hope you're doing well Adrian. Take your time in recovery. Mental health is important to sort out as well when dealing with trials and tribulations. With that in mind, my take on Jadon Sancho. At Dortmund he played his best football ever with him scoring 20 goals and assisting 20 assists in the 19/20 campaign in all competitions. On the surface, he fits the bill Ole wanted at Manchester United however failed to pay close attention to his flaws. Sancho is well known to show up late in training and has a severe problem in professionalism that is evident at Manchester City, England and Dortmund. After making his long awaited move to Manchester United, he came in a club that player power is rife and is in shambles for a long time. He hasn't been great at all at Manchester United. Say what you want about Antony stinking up the place but at least he tries in every game which Sancho hasn't done. Even Ten Hag bent over backwards to accommodate him but still he failed to take the opportunity he was given. Ten Hag called out Sancho after the loss to Arsenal and instead of Sancho doing what Garnacho, Rashford and Wan-Bissaka did. He posted on Twitter claiming Ten Hag is lying. The sad part is Sancho could have been 1st choice right winger since Antony has to deal with his off field issues but after that post, Sancho is done at Manchester United. Another mess Manchester United finds itself after the Greenwood and Antony drama. It's best that Sancho has to leave Manchester United to save his career otherwise he'll be just another Alli and Lingard.
Honestly, I think for Sancho he finally got the dream move. English kid gets the big money move to the Theater of Dreams, it's the FIFA career mode dream. But what if, once you get that dream move, it's all still the same? That goal that you had your whole life, that made it moment passes. What now? What's the point now? It feels like Sancho, got everything he wanted, the money, the fame, and the England call up. But now what? Money won't make you happy when you're the one making yourself miserable. It's also really hard when you look around and you have what everyone wants, that you're told you're living the dream. But your brain and body is still fighting you and making you miserable. I feel for Sancho, and honestly hope he finds the joy in the sport for himself.
Saying Ten Hag could have handled it more delicately is a speculative judgement implying that he handled it badly. At that point, posted this comment and turned off the video.

I totally agree on the mental issues and helping people with that.. but i don't agree that ones mental health has to be taken into consideration everytime when pointing out their lack of genuine effort.. mental issues due to two reasons one which is out of ones control like personal loss or mistreatment or traumas caused by others/something but on the other hand mental health issues also can be created by ones lifestyle or lack of professionalism.. there is lot of cases for 2nd rrason that has caused great loss to lot of teenage sensations in football.. but in any case, when you are professional then you have to live a life like that as that is part of your job.. i just hope Sancho to sort his mind and start focussing again in football which will give him and all his fans great joy..

At Dortmund he played his best football ever with him scoring 20 goals and assisting 20 assists in the 19/20 campaign in all competitions. On the surface, he fits the bill Ole wanted at Manchester United however failed to pay close attention to his flaws. Sancho is well known to show up late in training and has a severe problem in professionalism that is evident at Manchester City, England and Dortmund. After making his long awaited move to Manchester United, he came in a club that player power is rife and is in shambles for a long time. He hasn't been great at all at Manchester United. Say what you want about Antony stinking up the place but at least he tries in every game which Sancho hasn't done. Even Ten Hag bent over backwards to accommodate him but still he failed to take the opportunity he was given. Ten Hag called out Sancho after the loss to Arsenal and instead of Sancho doing what Garnacho, Rashford and Wan-Bissaka did. He posted on Twitter claiming Ten Hag is lying. The sad part is Sancho could have been 1st choice right winger since Antony has to deal with his off field issues but after that post, Sancho is done at Manchester United. Another mess Manchester United finds itself after the Greenwood and Antony drama. It's best that Sancho has to leave Manchester United to save his career otherwise he'll be just another Alli and Lingard.

Honestly, I think for Sancho he finally got the dream move. English kid gets the big money move to the Theater of Dreams, it's the FIFA career mode dream. But what if, once you get that dream move, it's all still the same? That goal that you had your whole life, that made it moment passes. What now? What's the point now? It feels like Sancho, got everything he wanted, the money, the fame, and the England call up. But now what? Money won't make you happy when you're the one making yourself miserable. It's also really hard when you look around and you have what everyone wants, that you're told you're living the dream. But your brain and body is still fighting you and making you miserable. I feel for Sancho, and honestly hope he finds the joy in the sport for himself.

I totally agree on the mental issues and helping people with that.. but i don't agree that ones mental health has to be taken into consideration everytime when pointing out their lack of genuine effort.. mental issues due to two reasons one which is out of ones control like personal loss or mistreatment or traumas caused by others/something but on the other hand mental health issues also can be created by ones lifestyle or lack of professionalism.. there is lot of cases for 2nd rrason that has caused great loss to lot of teenage sensations in football.. but in any case, when you are professional then you have to live a life like that as that is part of your job.. i just hope Sancho to sort his mind and start focussing again in football which will give him and all his fans great joy..
