    I have had an incredibly buggy experience with Nest Hub Max that has really made me sour on Google. 1) In the world we live today one of the most important features is the Duo video calling. But its not seemless to set up requires mutliple sections in the google home app. Also you CANNOT START OR JOIN DUO GROUP CHATS!!! This is a flagship device and is scam that they are advertising this as a Duo calling machine but not clear you cant have group calls. 2) Many video sources besides youtube have audio stuttering issues. Its like it cant handle the stream. I have 500mb up/down internet and 400 dollar router...its not that. 3) We bought one for my parents and cannot get Duo to start or receive calls, done everything to try, extremely frustrating. Also have many other bugs the people here and elsewhere bring up. Overall this still feels like a beta product, not unlike every Google Product. Like the review, but in standard youtube review form, literally no real negatives. I just do not believe that in 6 months he's never had a "any reliability issues" anyone that's owned a Google product know that's is categorically false. When you phrase it like that it just speaks to the crebility of this review that you never once had it not repspond correctly to a command when LITERALLY in the video it gets his music request wrong. Its like all the reviews of chromecasts saying they never have casting issues...right, none of us buy that.

    Santa brought us a Google Nest Max for Xmas. It's ok and we use it mostly to listen to our local CBC radio station. The biggest problem is the Google Nest Max stops doing anything everytime we turn our microwave on. Both are located in our kitchen. We used to have a google home mini in the same location and it was unaffected by the microwave.

      It could also be wifi interference. Your router may have two wifi frequencies it uses, one network on the 2.4 Gigahertz (GHz) range and one network on the 5GHz range. Microwaves interfere with the 2.4GHz range. Your Google Home Mini may have been connected to the 5GHz network, and your Nest Max might be on the 2.4GHz range.
      You can see if your router has both of these networks when you search for wifi on your phone, there might be two wifi networks named something similar, just with a 2G or a 5G at the end of their name. In the Google Home app you can see which network your devices are connected to.

      Spoke to Sonos Support, they keep telling me that the diagnostic reports wireless interference although other devices in my network seem fine. What’s wrong? How do I fix it? I’m about to return it and keep using my UE Wonderboom2 Bluetooth speaker, it’s excellent

      @@Dane-ish Yes, the network hardware is in my TV room, rebooting it doesn’t make any difference, all to no avail. The speaker is both Wifi and Bluetooth,
      It also has bluetooth instability issues, Music cuts out briefly every 5 to 15 minutes or so; It’s my only Bluetooth speaker that is having this behavior, I have a Wonderboom 2 BT speaker, I’m using it since 1 year and 3 months without absolutely any issue, It’s excellent! Like I said; So it isn’t anything related to my phone.
      This is the third Sonos Roam unit that I have, I already got 2 warranty replacements and still the issues continue. Yep I know it could be network related but my Wifi works fine for everything else except for the Roam

CNN news that pops up the first is annoying and there is no way to customize what you want to see on the display. Having said that it works perfect with displaying the photos and playing music. • @evelynwoolston7

    Typical Google, they take a great product then update the software so that it's harder or impossible to do something that worked great before. With the last update, you can't change the photo frame unless you use your voice. So you wake up early and want to change your photo frame as hubby snores on softly. Now you have to use a Hey Google, change my photo frame vocal command = grumpy hubby. Obviously, Google employees sleep alone!

      It’s cool when you wake up and ask for a song to play or cooking and ask for a random song

    Can you view pictures from other sources other than google?

      It'll show you photos from the web when asked like a Google image search but if you want your photos displayed in the photo frame feature you'll need to use Google Photos.

    Nothing bad to say? This device keeps dis-connecting from internet for no good reason and won't reconnect automatically. There is a very large number of owners with this exact same issue and even after months of being in the market, Google has not able to fix the problem. You can google it to find the facts. For me, it is an expensive paper weight more than half of the time.

      I'm using a Chromecast audio plugged into some Bose speakers. Unfortunately Google stopped selling the Chromecast Audio but you may be able to still find some

    Can I watch Netflix movies on Google hub Max?

    • @6MonthsLater
      @6MonthsLater  4 года назад +2

      No, no Netflix support on the Nest Hub Max. You can use the Nest Hub Max to cast Netflix on a Chromecast connected to your TV though.
