Guys, this is THE video. I watched this and followed his prompts to a *tee*, making sure I had answers of my own for each one of them that basically spoonfeed the key words of the job during the hire vue responses. 2 months later, I’m happy to announce that I got a job with the company :) and I really have to thank this video because without it I would have been completely blind sided and wouldn’t have given as good of a response. Remember, YOU are the ideal person they are looking for. YOU have what it takes. Tools like these just exist to help them filter through the best candidates, so you have to make sure you know how to use it to your advantage. All you’re trying to do is show them how good of a person you are. Best of luck 🥰
Hi, was your interview On-Demand video interview or Live interview. Would like to know is there any interviewer or just automatically asked questions. in On-Demand interview. Actually i have interview but don't know how it will be
@@personalvoyager1798 Oh so i had both but the HireVue was the first step and THAT was all recorded responses. HireVue is nice because it gives you the interview question, then gives you about 90 sec. to practice your answer, then 1-3 attempts to actually record a 2 minute response. I think the number of retries and the length of the response is set by the employer. Once I got past the HireVue, I got a phone screening to get background info and then a month later the recruitment team reached out to set up a live interview. For what it's worth, I don't think my HireVue responses were even that great, but I was following the method of this video down to a tee. for instance, i was asked about how I solved a problem in a group, and I said "BECAUSE I did x, we as a group were able to work together cohesively...." so just stuff like that. make sure you write out your responses ahead of time and use language like "I did this and because I did this we were able to succeed" instead of "i did this". hope that helps :)
@Sean Sullivan thank you for response. Hope this information will help at some point. Didn't know after HireVue there would be another phone screening and live interview. Anyway I should be ready as they demand. Have a good day.

Hi, was your interview On-Demand video interview or Live interview. Would like to know is there any interviewer or just automatically asked questions. in On-Demand interview. Actually i have interview but don't know how it will be
Just did a HireVue interview today. It was the most awkward experience in self-talking, even though I have made plenty of preparation by viewing videos such as this one. I think this is a wrong way to assess people. At one point during talking to myself, I paused and thought to just give up and tell the video to forget about my application.
I agree. I take a lot of effort to learn about the company, to review my CV and the application and then the company does not even have the decency to want to talk to me. When talking to a person I can judge if I am clear, if I have their attention, if I need to speak less or more or maybe provide more or less detail and I can ask questions. Talking to myself is but a hop, skip and jump to complete insanity. If the company does not care enough about me to speak to me, I will look for a company that does.
I’m so glad I’m not alone. I just did one today also, and I am simply trying to be a baker at a local grocery store. I have a portfolio full of beautiful work and would be a great addition to any team, however I was not given the opportunity to showcase any of that. I became so frustrated with the questions I could feel my face getting redder and redder as I was speaking, forgot was I was even saying in the middle of a sentence; and just like you said, was ready to just shut the whole thing off and give up in the middle of it. What an awful way to go about hiring your staff!!
This is probably the most informative job interview video I have ever seen so far. All others I have watched are so general and teach you how to get your foot in the door for mcdonalds. thank you so much for this.

I love your channel mate, you provide amazing help. A few months back your channel helped me grab an internship for the summer of 2020. And I’m in my last year of university I was nervous because I knew if I didn’t get an internship it would be harder to get a job after graduating with no experience but unfortunately this pandemic cause the company to cancel my internship so now I’m taking notes in advance because after this year I know my interviews have to be perfect if I plan on getting a job in Big Four or any big Corporate company although I’m highly in doubt that will be possible without any internship experience 😕 but your channel really helps a lot ! Thanks mate
Hey @BassFraud, thanks so much, I am happy I was able to help :) Many students are in the same situation, you're not alone. I know it can be hard to accept, but ask yourself: what can you do to keep on building your CV? Official internships are just 1 way to gain experience. Look for volunteering opportunities, find a mentor on LinkedIn with whom you can work, help a local business in your area, or create content around a subject you find relevant, learn a new skill a build a project with it! Many people will take advantage of this situation to get ahead, and I am sure you can too! :)
Primal Career Thank you for the motivation brother. I have about 2 years of customer service and sales experience, and recently got a job at a Bank as a teller to gain more experience. I even have 3 months of supervisor experience. So I’m definitely working towards my Resume even on my last year of University. I also have a letter of recommendation from one of my professors in University, Have volunteered at a Accounting Office but I didn’t do much time there if I’m being honest with you. My biggest fear with consulting is that I’m a horrible public speaker and I do really bad in class presentations. Even at interviews I get nervous sometimes and I show it but recently I’ve been doing a lot better at the interviews I’ve been going to. Sometimes big companies just make me nervous. I’m better in small groups or 1on1 meetings with Clients. That being said I know I’m capable of learning, adapting and overcoming my fears. I know as a junior consultant I will have the opportunity to grow. I have my mind open to a couple career opportunities in consulting, Accounting, and Risk management are all careers I would definitely try and see how I like it, I know people have jumped from accounting to finance. My biggest fear right now is having a Finance BBA and working my same job. But You don’t understand how motivated I am to keep pushing towards the goal of having a good job at a Big Four firm. Thanks again !

Hello! thanks for posting this so useful! I received an invitation for a HireVue interview two days ago, my question is, how long would you leave before sending your answers to the company? I am prepping myself as we speak, but I feel that I am not ready yet, in the meantime I don't want to leave it for too long as they might think that I am not reliable enough. Thank you!
Best advice for a HireVue interview is to decline it and find another position that actually has a better metric of evaluating your personality than an AI.
The first question shouldve been: I listened to what he had to say and I understood why he wanted that part so i decided to step out and learn something new. The company wants you to learn new things.
You'd be surprised how many people have told me they answer the "tell about yourself" with their life story, including their mother's maiden name and make of their first car
Hani Djari what kind of answer were you looking for if not some type of personal answer? Would you like a answer like a person hobbies or what they like to do like “ I like nature “ , I do painting etc.
09.2023 BHP, after reviewing my resume, sent an invitation to a virtual assessment. Unfortunately, the questions they asked were completely different from what I had expected🙁. Nevertheless, watching the video had its advantages. It helped me understand what the HR department wants to hear from a prospective employee.
Great video overall, but the weakness answer I'd say it's too polished...I don't think it's bad to be a bit more honest there..we are not perfect anyway. Thanks though great content :)
Dude you're examples Are too perfect! + Plus hours and hours of prep time in which you have and we don't. This is a perfect case scenario , and that's not realistic. Doesnt matter how much the individual practices or preps..were gonna stumble and look stupid in one area or another 🙄..just facts my friend. Appreciate your perfect interview tho lol
thanks for your love and support Which have keep me going, am using this private account to give back to the society , if you were to ask something what will it be?
Such a great video man! I am getting ready for my first Hire Vue interview and this helped a lot. The only flaw though is that you're a Real Madrid fan lol. Keep it up, man!
I wouldn't say that I didn't "get along" with anyone. Sure, there are people that gave me headaches sometimes, and I'm sure I gave them a few headaches to. But at the end of the day that never hindered us from working together efficiently and getting the job done. I feel like we had a mutual understanding that sometimes we all have bad days and bad moments but that doesn't mean we can't get along. That's why I feel like I've never had things be sour in a relationship with a coworker, to the point where I couldn't work with them. Well unless you count quitting from stress in my first job. Worked overtime and was called in almost everyday. Had several nightmares that I was working and being yelled at even in my sleep. I couldn't do it. But even in that situation, I quit because I was basically a slave for them, not because the people I worked for were intolerable.
Many Thanks for the video, its 10/10. Also, can you tell about how to answer effectly this 2 questions: What it´s your biggest goal and what are you do for acomplish it Tell me about a time when you did have a problem with you team/coworked/ etc and how do you solve it
This is a really good video but it's more geared to College Graduates what if someone is going for a job in Walmart, It would be great if you did a non professional or entry level position like Retail Sales or Hospitality Roles :)
Yes! I have “interviewed” for HEB (Texas grocery store) more than once now, and can’t get hired. It’s such an awkward humiliating experience talking to yourself on camera and not knowing what you said or did wrong to not get hired for the job. I am not trying to be an executive here, I just want to bag groceries
Hi there. Your videos have been a great help during this Covid-19 lockdown as I restart my job hunting. One question: the first example in the video of the group project was one very similar to mine. However unlike you, I did not take the steps to resolve the conflict and I only found out at the end of the semester when our tutor told us how one group member felt his assigned part was not his greatest work. I've been told all interview answers should have a positive note and ending however mine is positive in the sense I have now learnt how to successfully communicate but not at that point in time. How would you approach this?
I've just released the first HireVue Interview Simulator for practicing. I'm looking for people to beta test it. Would you be interested? Love your HireVue videos, well done on a great channel!
Would argue on the weakness answer, honestly, nobody will believe your "greatest weakness" is on powerpoint. I've been told by a director from an investment bank that it is better to say some actual weakness that does not raise red flags and your efforts on improving this. Everybody has some personality weakness or bad habit, so saying sth like powerpoint sounds really dismissive and insincere.
Great content from the creator. As for these companies, people can just make up answers to these questions like why ask them? Questions should be about your ability to do the job not personality traits. People can say certain things that the employers want to hear, thanks to videos like these, and say or act a completely different way on the job. Startup idea for anyone interested: build a website listing jobs for employers who skip these silly questions and computer games and just ask if you can do the actual job. I've even go a name for you, CYDTJ? (can you do the job?) 😏.
thanks for your love and support Which have keep me going, am using this private account to give back to the society , if you were to ask something what will it be?
Just did hireview today, none of this questions was asked plus, I only had 2 minutes for each one, resulting in a nightmare. HR are paid to pay others private company to do their job. Nightmare.
The advice is great but its unrealistic. It is easy to provide a good response with confidence when you already know what the questions are and don't have the added pressure of providing a response with a timer counting down and when you are trying to make a good first impression. It is very different when you don't have that information, you don't know what to expect, you are only given a short amount of time to respond to questions given to you and you don't need to worry about making a good first impression. I will be interested to see how you would respond under that pressure as well as surprised if you are able to maintain and keep the same quality demonstrated in this video?
So basically polish your lies and get hired. I love the interviewing process!

So cringy, man.

I am prepping myself as we speak, but I feel that I am not ready yet, in the meantime I don't want to leave it for too long as they might think that I am not reliable enough. Thank you!
max 5 days
Best advice for a HireVue interview is to decline it and find another position that actually has a better metric of evaluating your personality than an AI.
THIS.
I agree, Why can't we be honest in interviews anymore? Why Can't I tell a potential employer not to treat me like shit.
The first question shouldve been: I listened to what he had to say and I understood why he wanted that part so i decided to step out and learn something new.
The company wants you to learn new things.
Mike: why did you leave your last job?
Me: been there for 17 years 😳😂
You'd be surprised how many people have told me they answer the "tell about yourself" with their life story, including their mother's maiden name and make of their first car
HAHAHA that was me in my first interview ever 😂😂
Hani Djari what kind of answer were you looking for if not some type of personal answer? Would you like a answer like a person hobbies or what they like to do like “ I like nature “ , I do painting etc.
I interviewed a man once. When asked where he saw himself in 5 years he said hopefully married with children. (Face palm)

BHP, after reviewing my resume, sent an invitation to a virtual assessment. Unfortunately, the questions they asked were completely different from what I had expected🙁. Nevertheless, watching the video had its advantages. It helped me understand what the HR department wants to hear from a prospective employee.
Hi there, would u mind share the questions what u are asked?I got the invitation as well, but still confused this vitual assessment. thanks!
Great video! Thanks for posting. Have an HireVue interview which I am getting nervous about.
Hi how was ur intrvw? Do they ask the same qsns or anything dff ?
thanks for your love and support Which have keep me going, am using this private account to give back to the society , if you were to ask something what will it be?
I loved this video, I'm going to have my first interview tomorrow, and I'm so scared, I wish I can have your confidence to talk!
Thank you for this- you are so talented at being on point with the videos!
Thank you so much for the video, you made some great points and helped me feel a lot more confident about my interview.
Such a great video man! I am getting ready for my first Hire Vue interview and this helped a lot. The only flaw though is that you're a Real Madrid fan lol. Keep it up, man!
What an amazing video, very helpful and well done! Thank you!
You're welcome @Evelyn :)
Also, can you tell about how to answer effectly this 2 questions:
What it´s your biggest goal and what are you do for acomplish it
Tell me about a time when you did have a problem with you team/coworked/ etc and how do you solve it
I was laid off in January. How do I approach question #2 in regard to being laid off and not being able to find a new job in almost 9 months?
Just talk about you wanting to advance your career and take on more challenging roles.
OMG thank you so so much, I haven't gotten the jobs I'm interviewing for yet, but I will with God's help. Bless you.
I am really jealous on your confidence and fluency. However, great content. thanks.
Thank you for your videos! I just did a hirevue interview today, I'm praying it goes well :) Will update if any news comes
Hey , did you have similar questions ?
Yup perfect video .ur video piercings my heart and made me know what i did wrong to get neglected from interview and i almost did it all wrong. haha
Great video. Am I recorded while writing my answers?
Say something like .. upon reflecting .... I now know that ...
Hellooo, you have to lie. You didnt take action? magically during the interview you did.
I've just released the first
HireVue Interview Simulator for practicing. I'm looking for people to beta test it.
Would you be interested?
Love your HireVue videos, well done on a great channel!
I'm interested.
Thanks for the info. After interview, how I can see the result.
Do we need to finish the timer to answer the question or just click next i you feel that your confident with your answer?
Thank you so much! You couldnt have to more clearer.
Thank you! This is super helpful for my preparation 🔥
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I may need these interviewing tips soon....
The pleasure is mine! :) Good luck!!
Thanks , Is anybody get a job from this app?
Amazing job with this video bro! Keep going! Keep growing! 😀
What’s the correct amount of time to answer each question? I think 1 minute is more than necesaary
Thank you for sharing! Very helpful information!
Very useful interview tips. Thank you for sharing it
Great content from the creator.
I love this post so spot on. Why have employers resulted to so many gimmicks to disqualify people. Then bitch an moan they can't find workers....
they are looking for soap opera actors, not real people who can do the job, sad

That was fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thanks for your love and support Which have keep me going, am using this private account to give back to the society , if you were to ask something what will it be?
Can i prepare my answers in a paper and read from it??
Just did hireview today, none of this questions was asked plus, I only had 2 minutes for each one, resulting in a nightmare. HR are paid to pay others private company to do their job. Nightmare.
What was the questions ?!
That's why you prepare!
Thank you for this informative video. In this new career climate we are all in it is good to have these helpful tips for employment.
so helpful!!!!! thanks
