    I had an issue with one of these bcm faulty brake light output. I purchased second hand bcm of same part number and sent off to an ebay programmer. When plugged in, it started car but all lights were stuck on, flashers brakes etc. So we sent the programmer another second hand unit to program, same result!! So had to plug in original unit for now. After seeing your videos i may attempt myself with vvdi, i didnt realise you could do it without splitting the boards. Thank you

      Thanks for watching, VVDI doesn’t work on all boards, we only use it to read the EEPROM to gain access to the units PIN number, we then use other tools to clone the BCM, my advice is to first test fit a donor unit, make sure there is no brake light faults then send us the unit to us to be cloned properly.. or get the eBay programmer to put the donor files back into your donor unit, test fit it again & then if all ok send it to us to do it, for more info visit our website:

    I'm having trouble understanding the audio because I'm not English, but I have a question. I unplugged the EMC to check a relay on my volvo V40 and now that I plug it back in the ignition activates but the car won't start, how can I fix this?
    Great video, thanks!

      Oh dear!.. thanks for watching & for your comment.. as for your issue, I really can’t say what could be the issue, maybe you have had a random fuse blow at an inconvenient time! I assume by EMC you mean Engine Control Module (ECM) - there is no reason why unplugging & plugging in again should cause a problem - hopefully it is just a blown fuse, or possibly a bent pin on the ECM multiplug? Good luck! 🤞

    What's possible cause of volvo not starting displaying message "immobilizer try to start again "

    • @JC-ECUConnection
      @JC-ECUConnection  7 месяцев назад

      There could be many reasons - Key fault, BCM fault, wiring or ECU.. on some models with a SID803/A ECU there is a common fault after a flat battery with data getting corrupted - if this is the case then we can help!

    My v40 pops up tpms service required message couple of miles after resetting;have been to Volvo twice ;did diagnostics and couldn’t find any fault.Could it be something with the ecu?

      Sorry, I really wouldn’t like to say what the fault may be here.. intermittent faults are always the hardest to track down…

    Why use the tool at the end to clone when the first two gave you the data needed to clone, just interested. Aside from giving you the password what would be the reason? curious.

    • @JC-ECUConnection
      @JC-ECUConnection  6 месяцев назад +2

      The first & 2nd tools (VVDI & O5) do not read the full data on some of these units & does not clone them correctly, although it does give us enough information to read the password, we can then access the full data with the 3rd tool, also this tool accesses the data via CANBUS, we can therefore verify the units power up correctly after programming so we can make sure the units haven’t ‘bricked’, thanks for watching!
