- Welcome to my very first playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom! Join Princess Zelda as she attempts to mend the rifts consuming Hyrule, with the power of Tri and the Tri Rod! All in hopes to save Hyrule, its people and Link!
We start off our journey PLAYING AS LINK! Where we save Zelda before getting consumed by the rift while facing Ganon. From there we escape as Zelda and are brought back to Hyrule Castle. After informing the King about what happened, a rift swallows him along with Minister Lefte and General Wright. This then leads the King to imprison Zelda. Forcing her to team up with Tri and escape the castle prison. With help from Impa we are given a map and told to escape to Suthorn Village. So we escape Hyrule Castle and reach Suthron shore and even spot Link's house? Now we must mend our first rift in Suthorn Forest!

Its a cute little game. Full of charm and has its moments of vastness. 100% better than the LA remake and Im finding it more fun than Breath too despite it being an ickle bit claustrophobic in some areas.

@@IronMouseAndynot lazy I love Tears it’s a masterpiece but it is very similar to Botw yes there are new things but 5 years is a long time to make a game it exceeded all my expectations but you can’t ignore how similar it feels Luke probably felt burnt out due to how similar it’s like we’re playing the same game but not really at the same time I love it should’ve won game of the year but oh well

I played 3 hours of this game so far. I've been just walking around. I did the first dungeon and it was really fun. I can't play it a lot now since I have to study but it's amazing so far
I just bought TOTK so I'm debating on getting this.. but totk has me sucked in right now.

normally i’d watch it now, but it hasn’t released yet for me, and I plan on actually beating it alone without your guides this time lol (for context, i’d always use your videos to guide me through each zelda game)

Every time Tri talks, her whistling makes me think of the Clangers. In case you don't know, The Clangers was an old kids t.v. show from the U.K. It originally aired between the 60's & 70's. It was about a family of mice that lived on a moon-like planet. It was re-made for t.v. in 2015.
I hope you eventually finish Totk too. I usually take breaks from games too. And those breaks makes me enthusiastic about geting back into the game with more vigor. Had to do that with Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition, Super Mystery Dungeon and P5 Tactica
A NEW ZELDAAAAA!!! I do enjoy TOTK but it didn’t feel fresh considering I replayed BOTW often. I’m waiting for my physical copy, and am staying spoiler free until I finish, so I hope this playthrough goes smoothly!

It's finally here. This game is so great. This is the first Zelda game you get to play as Zelda. Now it really is The LEGEND of Zelda.

Seeing that blue darknut (iron knuckle?) do three hearts of damage made me happy. Not many enemies in zelda games do over a heart of damage.

There was a guy to the left when you entered Suthorn Village. (I think it's supposed to be pronounced like "southern" since it's in the south.) If you talk to him, he tells you about Link.

This game was fun I haven't beaten it yet and I got stuck at desert one because I didn't do the water one.

Him pronouncing Suthorn as sut horn is going to be the death of me. I can already tell that this game uses alot of small humor in names. Suthorn(southern), Wright(right), Lefte(left), etc

Hi Luke - I think the word "Suthorn" is probably pronounced "Southern" ... just like the guards Lefte and Wright were on the left and right. Also, I noticed the Suthorn Village is in the southern part of the map, along with the Suthorn Beach Cave and all the rest. Just taking a guess here; I don't even think it matters much. Maybe the devs got tired of coming up with new names? 😁
I honestly don't know what was going through my brain when I said "Sut-horn". But I do eventually correct myself in a later episode lmao

I haven’t played a link to the past yet so I immediately associated “you know what” (being spoiler free rn) field and other mentions with ocarina of time. I was thinking did we actually get a 2D ocarina sequel or game in the timeline, lol. But yeah, maybe link to the past has all these places as well so, my mistake.

Echoes of Wisdom may be the FIRST top down Zelda game where we actually play as Zelda. But technically we did play as her in Spirit tracks 🤔

lol, didn't do as poorly as I did... I died like 4 times before I figured out that was supposed to defeat Ganon with methods from prior games. I also got swallowed by the rift about 3 times.
