My big brother is color blind and I saw these glasses about 1.5 years ago. I told my mom about it and she just said that they were fake and they don't work. However I continued to show her multiple videos of these glasses and I finally convinced her to think about getting them as a present for my brother. I just showed her this and she is ordering them online right now! Thank you buzzfeed

"I don't know how you can be out in the world with this much colour" this is amazing insight. I'm hearing impaired and feel the same about sounds. I don't know how people function in a world that is so freaking loud. I don't mind my muted world some times. But I feel having colour blindness would have a bigger impact. Love that they got to keep the glasses.

my grandfather is fully colorblind like he doesn't see any colour whatsoever. for him everything is grey and i'm so glad i didn't take after him. He even tried these types of glasses and they just don't work on him.

My boyfriend has full greyscale/monochromacy colorblindness. He only wears black clothing, and he has the most trouble differentiating neon colors.

My boyfriend is completely colorblind so he can’t see any color. He has told me that he can’t tell when movies are black and white or color and to us it would be like seeing black white and grey all the time. I hope that one day we reach a point in technology to make a pair of glasses for complete colorblindness but I’m so happy that we’ve come this far already!

This was an amazing video
Every time I use my cyan-red 3D glasses, I take a little bit to look at things just from one eye for a while, then the other eye, to see the difference when blue/red are filtered out. It's likely definitely nowhere near being actually colorblind, but it's interesting and helped me understand just how much can be missed. I recommend others to do it for a while and see just how many colors practically disappear.

My brother was colour blind and an artist. I had no idea until one day for his birthday he asked for pencils with the colour written on them. He died Christmas Day last year in a motor cycle accident. Had he had access to these glasses just imagine how more beautiful his drawings could have become.

The asian fellow said he was holding it together and the big guy was very much sniffling in that "not gonna cry on camera" way. If they wanted tears they would have brought his girls in and showed him what their outfits really look like. You could tell that was eating at him before he got the glasses.

As a colorblind person who recently got some enchroma glasses....holy crap, my world is completely changed.
It's Insane what other people see compared to what I see without them.

Kabu Tops no they’re not ungrateful. Colourblind glasses are not as dramatic as Logan Paul made them. They don’t help you see the exact 100% colour. They just help colourblind people distinguish the difference between red and green or what ever colour.

i have a pair and the lenses have a type of filter that alters your vision to see "normally"

JustLogic_ because I'm colourblind my self and I know how people act. They were like "we'll this colour is blue and yellow for me" and they were also saying never play the game "whats this colour." I've played that game so many times and I get everything thing right. It's like I get 95% if everything right AND IM SERVERLY COLOURBLIND. They were also saying well I can't see colour this is "green to me but its probably orange." HOW DO THEY KNOW ITS GREEN IF THEY THINK IS ORANG. that was just a big giveaway right there. If they think it's orange but there seeing it as green then they would say orange THINK ABOUT IT

Enchromas are pretty expensive, but their competitor (Pilestone) is a lot cheaper. Instead of $425 for a pair, they sit at like $73-$90. No clue if Pilestone isn't as good, but I think if people want to try it out and can't afford the Enchromas, a Pilestone might be a good way to try it even if they're not as good.

the worst part of colorblindness for me is the fact that I love to draw. my dad is a professional artist and o guess that I inherited that from him, I live to draw and all of my friends say thatvibam a good drawer but I never color. I even got in trouble in school because I used the wrong colored pencil. (that teacher now knows that I am colorblind and is ok when I use different colored pencils from the class) currently I am drawing fakemon for my fan pokemon game that I am going to be creating and daily I have to ask my parents and siblings to find the right color on my tablet. and recently i found out that purple is a mixture of red and blue (I always thought that it was a really dark blue) and that light green is a color (I never knew that yellow and light green were different) i really want some enchroma glasses but i also wear regular glasses and I uaually sleep with my glasses on so I cant use contacts. i only have red green and I feel really bad for anyone who has worse colorblindness than me. I dont necessarily want to get rid of colorblindness either because it is something that makes me unique. I am the only person in my school that is colorblind and i feel special that i have something that nobody else has. I really want to get the enchrona glasses because they let me see colors and let me stay colorblind ( I dont know if there's a process to remove colorblindness permanently)

I absolutely love seeing videos like this of people trying on these glasses and getting to experience something even as "little" as color. Anna G my favorite thing I learned in high school is that biology is the science of exceptions. Almost any generalization you can think of has some exception. Anything is possible, whether it makes sense or not.
But colorblind people can see color, just not all of them or they mix them up...

Colorblindness is the name of the two men's condition in the video, but I feel like some people take the name of the condition itself too literally.
Like, when they hear that someone is colorblind, they expect that those people cannot see color at all, hence why they're colorblind but that's not the case.
Monochromacy is complete colorblindness, the condition which some people might be referring to when they hear colorblindness. People with monochromacy cannot perceive or detect colors at all, so these people only the see the world in shades of black and gray. But this type of colorblindness is extremely rare, and so far I have never heard of anyone who has this.
So just to clear things up, people who are colorblind can still see and detect colors, some just can't detect certain colors or distinguish one color from the other. Someone being colorblind doesn't automatically mean they can't see colors, remember that. :)
