- The GM Command Space Type was built in the last weeks of the One Year War, however, they were never produced in the numbers to make a difference to the Federation's war effort. While quite similar to the standard GM Command, the Space type mounted an enhanced backpack equipped with more maneuvering verniers and more powerful rocket thrusters. By removing equipment not needed in a zero-g environment, more internal space was freed up in the Space type, allowing it to be equipped with additional verniers and larger fuel propellant tanks. As the GM Command series was deployed as replenishment units during the war, only a small number were produced. Assignment of the machine to experienced MS pilots was prioritized, and as these pilots were often appointed as commanders of newly formed MS platoon, the GM Command series also gained a reputation as a 'Commander Use Unit' even though it was not specifically built for commanders. There were also cases where the suit was supplied on a platoon scale, leading to a considerable number of operational units in total.

@@tonyliu6749 By the battle of A Baoa Qu zeon was literally down to raw recruits and the average federation pilot was more highly skilled. Every clip here except one was from that battle and the one that wasn't takes place less than two weeks before it. It's one thing to try and built a menacing villain faction, but this much is just pseudo-nazi fanboying. (The OYW is literally a WW2 analogy where zeon are the axis and federation the allies)
Literally the only time the gundam wasn't plot armor, the gm's were fighting special forces.
I don't understand how people can be upset at that unless they just really wanted the feds to win every battle. besides the cold districts gm's did great holding them off to get the gundam Alex away. also the kampfer dies.
@@LAG09 It was actually an analogy of everyone thinking they were right and refusing to see each others problems, the POINT it that the war shouldn't have happened. just look a bit deeper and you can see that.

We saw this in ww2 when "fresh out of academy" Allied pilots wiped out the Japanese and German Air forces.
Experience is a component, but strategy and training are vital. You cannot win a war on zeal alone.

Man, I'd love to see an anime series where GMs aren't used as cannon fodders, considering most GMs can easily out-perform nearly every Zeon grunt suits.

0:49 バルカン砲で牽制しつつ距離を詰める。
0:53 シールドで防げない事を一瞬で看破(あるいは事前に知っていたか)回避を選択、２発目まで回避しながら接近し避けられない３発目を受け流す様にシールドを構えて防御しつつビームスプレーガンを構える。
0:56 ビームスプレーガンでジェネレータに２発命中させて撃破。
1:00 後続の敵に向けて２発撃った所で弾切れ。
1:03 即座にスプレーガンを捨てて武装をサーベルに切り替えつつ、その隙をシールドで補う。
1:04 シールドを破壊破壊され、体勢が崩れかけるが即座に修正。接近する事により相手はビームライフルとキャノンを撃てなくなる。
1:06 サーベルによる一文字切り。相手のシールド上部を切り飛ばすのみに留まる。
1:07 その隙を狙われるが屈んで回避し、更に相手のビームナギナタを蹴りあげる。この時点で相手のゲルググキャノンはほぼ詰み。
1:09 至近距離からキャノンを撃たれるも体勢を更に後ろに崩して回避し相手の頭部を蹴りあげて致命的な隙を作り出す。
1:11 蹴りの勢いに逆らわず機体を回転させて横袈裟斬りで胴体を切断し撃破。
1:23 他の機体との損傷具合からしてかなり違う事が分かる。あれだけの激戦を潜り抜けても傷１つ無い所からもパイロットの練度が伺える。
【対ビグロ戦】
1:54 スラスターを潰して機動力を奪ってから砲頭に命中させて撃破。
全ての行動が的確でかつ無駄がない。ビグロすら瞬殺してしまう様はまごうことなきエースである。
しかし、そんな彼が居ても母艦を護る事は出来なかった。戦争とはかくも過酷な物である………。
ジムコマの銃はスプレーガンではありませんよ…それからリックドムのジェネレータに2発とありますが、1発目は肩と胸のところでジェネレータではありませんし、2発目は胴体部を貫通しているのでジェネレータとは言えないのではないでしょうか?

ジェネレータ…ミノフスキー・イヨネスコ型熱核反応炉は胸というより腰あたりだったと記憶しています。コクピットと股関節の間ですね。胸はコクピットがありますし、バックパックはスラスター系があってジェネレータを収めるスペースは無かったはずです。爆発も推進剤に引火したからではないでしょうか。

その後の経歴は不明だが、どうやらグリプス戦役にはエゥーゴ側として参加した模様

ジムコマを宇宙用に改修した機体 主な違いは姿勢制御スラスターの増加などで、特にバックパックにその違いが現れている。
機体性能は高く、スプレーガンから連射性を犠牲に威力を上げたビームガンを装備するなど高性能機ではあるのだが、いまいち活躍に恵まれなかった。
しかし後にガンダム7号機のパイロットとなるユーグ機はビグロすら落とすという多大な戦果を上げた
フォルムとかも好きだった機体なだけに、ちょっとモヤっとしますね

余談だが漫画版によるとｺﾚ以前にも補給中の襲撃で全滅(ﾕｰｸﾞは襲撃前に上に呼び出され偶然留守)してるので補給途中は鬼門なのかもしれん。因みに漫画ではﾕｰｸﾞの顔の傷、41号作戦で部下の仇共を斬殺した際のやつらしい

For some reason, I love the gm’s more then the Gundam
GM's performed very well. It's just one of those scenarios where a good weapon system is deployed in a conflict that is insanely lethal. Anyone in any machine without plot armor is as good as dead from any solid hit.

0081, Gundam the Ride A Baoa Qu, and Rise from the Ashes are the series where GM aren't pushovers.
Sad how much Zeon wankery is so strong within the Sunrise itself that they blatantly often made GM incompetent while monoeyes aren't because of 'plot' reasons and one of the reasons I don't like watching Universal Century Gundams anymore.
アバンタイトルはジムコマ宇宙型がユーグ中尉の腕の良さもあってか、めっちゃ活躍するし、サラミス級巡洋艦の艦底部を利用した簡易母艦運用シーンとか見られるから好き。
短編ながらアバンタイトルは情報量多くて見どころ満載（ジムキャノンは不遇だが）

This one’s my favorite Federation General MS in GBO2. Pretty fast, pretty reliable, and really good Ranged multiplier to make good on the bullpup machinegun which is more than enough to get rid of mobile suits in all the available cost tiers it’s allowed in.
Sadly, I cannot say the same about the ground version though. Especially when you have access to plenty of good/better options on ground maps.
GM Kai feels better to me but yeah the Command has his perks.
Considering i mainly main (for now) big boy gundam full armor type B, when does this one become available? I may choose it for higher cost games
This only proves that it's not the machine, it's the pilot you have to worry about. In the hands of a veteran, even the grunt Mobile Suit can be dangerous.
I hope we can get the GM Command and GM cannon in Gundam evolution, as far as level field operation these two would def be my go to units.

ジム・コマンド時代にテネスの射撃センスを買われてジムスナイパーカスタムに変更した。
良く見たらこのリックドムⅡはコロニー周辺での流れ弾による被害を防ぐためにか非爆発式のロケット弾を使ってるっぽいな。弾頭を尖ったルナチタニウムにすれば爆発させずとも良いダメージが入る

一応いたけど、少数エース配備やから味方(連邦軍パイロット)にもあんま知られてない。ただ戦後も配備されたけど0083ではすでにジム改(c型)にまとめられた感じっぽい。
I wanna point out that the Gelgoog Jaeger fired his spot gun so hard it looked like Epyon's beam saber, and it instakilled the GM he shot.

Yep. This gun going from burst to sniper single shot is why the Jaeger is formidable.
The Jaeger also has a very very high thrust power thats said to be even more powerful than even the Crossbone Gundam

Gelgoog Jaeger is getting loads of kills cos he's type-effective against GMs.
I wish the Beam Gun could fire that quickly.
Should've taken longer to kill that Gelgoog Cannon since it's type-resistant.
Can be good only if the beam gun staggers, but thats too much for something from 250c. I read about the gun with larger canister in the back should be able to shoot a more continuous beam. Reverse to old melee damage, health and sideway/backward movement speed may help.
The Jaeger is just stupidly powerful. Something like 2 times faster than a standard gelgoog with a beam machine gun on top of that.
Thrust to weight it is faster than the Zeta Gundam

I like how the GM Command (Or many of the War in the Pocket designs in general) was supposed to just be a re-design of the original GM from 1979, but seeing as to how they could literally make more money if Bandai made it its own thing, Bandai did so.
