Rosela B she did say that as a general rule of thumb for people starting out trying to dress more elegantly because it's really hard to find neon things that don't look cheap. If it has the right material and fit, it can look great. But people with a less discerning/trained eye may not know how to pick this out. I’m working on leveling up & while I can’t afford all of the new clothes all at once , I can definitely upgrade my communication skills and behaviors. Thank you for all your videos ! I appreciate you !
Neutral/nude color. It is important to find out your skin undertone, so you can chose better your lipstick (cold undertone = pink nude; warm undertone = beige nude)
Ladies there are so many second hand options available online for high quality wool coats, just use discernment when viewing items and look into who is selling them and what else they are selling, you can usually tell if something will be nice or not, and purchase from legitimate sites that will refund you if it not as described, I have up-leveled my look so much and I have not broke the bank! Thank you Anna!
You can find elegant, classic styles at every price point. It's the cut and material that make or break. You could get a ZARA coat, or a coat from Kohl's (in America) , but if they are both made of soft wool with classic lines and fit beautifully, then it does not matter.
Could you make a video on how to be elegant in the rain? does it even exist Elegant rain coat/rain boots etc? Where I live most of the winter is just cold rain and it only snow occasionally. I feel like I just don't know what to wear to stay warm and dry but that would also look more sophisticated ?
Thank you very much for this video. I'm from Trinidad (the Caribbean) and married but I love your content because it has helped me step my game up. I leave for London next month (Autumn) and had a very hard time deciding on which coat to purchase as I really detest looking like I borrowed my brother's coat. Never considered having a day time and evening coat. You literally just saved me money and time. Thank You!

I have known this channel 3 days ago but i can't count how many videos of you that I've watched... You are definitely transforming alot of women overthere like me 👍 Love from Austria
It is worth investing more money in a good coat. I bought a long, fur coat this past winter, even though it was pricey, it was so worth the investment. It will last me a lifetime, it kept me warm all winter, even when wearing short dresses, and it’s very eye catching.
Coats are so important for cold climates! Great video 🙌. I personally like the mid length coat because I find it looks the most balanced with my body type.
I have a dusty rose coloured faux fur coat that's super warm for winter that I get tons of compliments on. I was worried it would be too crazy or trendy but I think it actually suits me and it looks cheerful in gloomy weather. I have a grey dressy jacket, it isn't warm though, and a lilac purple puffer for skiing and sporty stuff but my dream coats would be a classic Burberry trench coat and a long Babaton belted wool coat... but I'm a student so I'm waiting to find them gently used. Coats are so important because in winter you will have only a few options to choose to wear every day, people will start to associate you with your handful of coats, I hate winter for this reason but if I buy a coat I have to be head over heels in love with it because I'll be stuck wearing it for months on end as a Canadian.
Thank you for a very helpful video Anna. I'd love for you to do a video on all the different high quality brands that you love in order to know where to purchase all of these lovely items! P.s I love your channel, you're so inspiring! x
I still have a wool blend mid length coat I purchased years ago, it’s navy blue, black in some light, and I absolutely love it. It’s the one piece I go to all the time in Winter (Australia). It wasn’t expensive but very well made. I’d be lost without it. My next coat will be longer because I love the look.
Thanks for your Tip Ana now I know which type of coat I should get when I go shopping!, I already have a fitted Navy black mid-length trench, and brownish-orange short coat. The next will be a white or black long coat, and I also stocked up on turtle necks and a few long dresses ^^, as a business student I wanna look chic and classy but also a bit comfortable. So where a white trench coat with a black trench coat, that is ether paired with black trousers or skirt. And Tips for the ladies reading this if you have a square body and are planning on buying a dress or a coat I would recommend getting an A-line coat or dress because not only will it give your body shape but it will make you look slimmer and tall, and this is coming from a lady who is 154 Cm 5,1 for my American friends. For business students, if you wanna look chic and elegant I recommend, looking up outfits from this K-Drama called what's wrong with secretary Kim.
I am a petite, and an above the knee works best for me. Also, if you could go over some tips on petite attire it would be much appreciated. You are wonderful and thank you.
We have the same idea about the coats! I personally prefer mid length to long coats that looks tailored, with single buttons and a belt (I'm more of a hourglas shape). And I definitely think it's good to have at least two or three to choose between: a thinner trenchcoat for everyday not really cold, a thicker wool coat in the winter and a more elegant to evening events that looks more elegant. But what about the colors? I'm more insecure about that. I owned a red one, I really liked it and red fits me. And how about fur coats?
I drive a semi for a living and have never been much of a lady. I have been trying to learn how to be a lady while still doing a job I love. Thank you for your videos! You are teaching me alot! One day, I wont be able to drive and when that day comes, I intend to own my own company. I think being a lady will help me present a better company image!
I have so many coats, I love coats. I have a lot of trench’s and winter coats and vests(gilets)! I just bought this beautiful electric blue belted fitted wool coat. Blue is one of my colors. I love the camel colored coats have had them since I was little.
Very important video! I commented on another video in this series to suggest slightly editing and reissuing this video, especially so that it circulates along with those other videos focused on Fall/Winter trends. This video and video series are timeless and substantive. Thank you!
Anna, in your next video on coats can you please discuss best coat fabrics that don't attract every bit of pet hair, human hair and fluff? My wool coat drives me nuts with how everything sticks to it.
As for raincoats, I just stumbled onto RainSisters. Their raincoats DO NOT look like raincoats, but dresses! I can't find any RUclips reviews on the coats since they are a relatively new brand and I think it'd be great content for you. I know you've said your coat videos didn't do so good analytically, but a raincoat that looks like a dress is so revolutionary and perfect for any classy lady who doesn't want to hassle with an umbrella during those days where maybe it will rain and maybe it won't.
Thanks for the nice video, Ana na! I mostly agree with almost all your fashion tips and tricks, but in this case I must say I always thought the two row buttoned coats (like a classic Burberry coat) to me look more elegant than one row buttoned. I guess it depends on what you pursue: one button row draws more attention to the figure as there is more "free" texture of the coat itsself and two button rows give the coat a more "dressed appearance", if you like to say so. Anyways: I enjoy your content a lot altgough I'm currently not really on the hunt for an affluent man. I like your focus on the rules of what provides a well put together and "top of your game"-appearance/style. A friend of mine (born in 1996) studies fashion management and thinks that nowadays anyone can wear anything. I don't think so...there are certain rules and guidelines as in what to wear with what figure and to which occasion to look flattering. I am a bit artsy myself...so I am automaticly drawn to intuitive harmonizing colors, shapes, textures and overall symmetry. I love how you communicate more attention to that again as young girls around the age of 14/15 start to provide the impression that it's perfectly normal to run around half naked :D (*eye-roll*) Could you maybe do a video about flattering elegant fashion for taller women upwards from 1,80m and over?? I'd absolutely post that on my IG-account then which might lead to some tall elegant ladies being drawn to your channel like I have been as well :) Anyways, Doll! Keep up the good work@ ♡ (IG: @thedaisydynasty (3.412 Follower currently)
Thanks for the video... invested in a nice coat a few years ago... it has mink collar and cuffs... and the material of the coat is wool and nylon and lined with fur...it was around $3m... did I spend too much for it...I really like and I get lots of compliments and looks...

Glad I signed up for your videos . I love to get dressed all the time Seems like people now a days don’t get dressed at all . You give basic advice everyone age can use
I have an apple figure and I wear fitted running shorts (spandex shorts) under all my dresses, skirts, etc. So I'm able to wear fitted coats and it would look nice on my body. Plus I just like the added protection the spandex shorts give me. I'm not the most graceful person ever and I tend to trip a lot so thats why I have like 30 pairs of spandex shorts.

Will you please make a video about proper speaking ? What phrases to use instead of less elegant phrases ? I know you mentioned a few in other videos . I’m working on leveling up & while I can’t afford all of the new clothes all at once , I can definitely upgrade my communication skills and behaviors. Thank you for all your videos ! I appreciate you !
Hi Anna lovely video, Can you do a similar video for which lipstick shades do you consider elegant?
R A ...just keep them light
R A oh yes :)
I love your comment on sustainable clothing items and not polluting the planet 🌎 💙
Hi Anna, Could you please give us some advice on men’s clothing too? I really don’t know anything about elegant clothing for men nor any etiquette.
Anna you are so cute when you tell us to be patient! I like your genuine smile, as it gives me hope I will achieve what I want in life! Thank you
Anna, can you recommend brands and actual pieces that you show ?? Especially the light colored ones you showed,
You can find elegant, classic styles at every price point.
Anna, in this video I see you with a brighter glow! You look more beautiful than usual!
Thank You!
Your simplicity makes you stand out from the crowd 🌹 Love your positive attitude and honesty that is so obvious ❤️❤️
I love coats, wraps and jackets. Thank you for cover this complicated subject. I am also loving the hydrangeas . They are my favorite flower. I cant wait for the other parts on this subject matter.
I am in my fifties I too am enjoying your platform immensely. Never to late to level up. I wish my daughter would come along. She is very beautiful but could care less. Could you suggest a Video for me to share with her. 😘
This is a supreme channel! So posh and elevated!
I have known this channel 3 days ago but i can't count how many videos of you that I've watched... You are definitely transforming alot of women overthere like me 👍 Love from Austria
That a woman, you're wonderful and we love learning from you! Blessings from Mx.
So elegant and classy , I really like your style Anna 💞💞
Hi Anna 👋🏽
Can you please make an advice video for college / almost graduate girls ? Like you did for the teenagers
Love you
It is worth investing more money in a good coat. I bought a long, fur coat this past winter, even though it was pricey, it was so worth the investment. It will last me a lifetime, it kept me warm all winter, even when wearing short dresses, and it’s very eye catching.
Hi Ana and all her folowers , Jesus loves all of you 🤗
Coats are so important for cold climates! Great video 🙌. I personally like the mid length coat because I find it looks the most balanced with my body type.
You are so well spoken. I wish I could be that fluent in English. Love you xx
Height is an important factor to bear in mind. Petite women generally don't look great in long coats.
I love Anna's fashion videos because they aren't just seasonal fast fashion
I’m convinced the universe is eavesdropping on my conversations because this video appeared as a recommendation.
I am now subscribed.🌹
So many options! I never realized how classy a coat with no bottons looks with or without a belt. Thanks!
I love the loose coat feel over the fitted. Especially with the styles, you showed they looked really elegant.
Am I the only one who's watching this video for some 2020 winter coat tips???🤔🤔🤔
Thank you for a very helpful video Anna. I'd love for you to do a video on all the different high quality brands that you love in order to know where to purchase all of these lovely items!
P.s I love your channel, you're so inspiring! x
omg this pink colour looks so amazing on you! Your face is so clear and fresh.
Annette Davies what brand is it?
I was waiting for this one
I am a petite, and an above the knee works best for me. Also,
if you could go over some tips on petite attire it would be much
appreciated. You are wonderful and thank you.
I literally just came back from coat shopping! I needed this video, I was so confused 😅
me too. I went to try and find a good Nordstrom rack dupe for an expensive coat and they all looked cheap or if it wasnt that .. didn't fit right.
@myainseI years???
Better be *lifetime* 🧥
We have the same idea about the coats! I personally prefer mid length to long coats that looks tailored, with single buttons and a belt (I'm more of a hourglas shape).
And I definitely think it's good to have at least two or three to choose between: a thinner trenchcoat for everyday not really cold, a thicker wool coat in the winter and a more elegant to evening events that looks more elegant.
But what about the colors? I'm more insecure about that. I owned a red one, I really liked it and red fits me.
And how about fur coats?
You may want to do a video on what colors for different skin tones with classic attire .That would be interesting...Good videos....thanks...
Thank you!
Anna! That sweater you are wearing. I love it. Where is it from?
Anna, in your next video on coats can you please discuss best coat fabrics that don't attract every bit of pet hair, human hair and fluff? My wool coat drives me nuts with how everything sticks to it.
Can you please show us your coat collection???😍😍😍 this video was so helpful and I like how you don't stutter or lose your track of thought
Dear Anna-would you link your recommendations? Thank you
Thanks for the nice video, Ana
na!
I love how you communicate more attention to that again as young girls around the age of 14/15 start to provide the impression that it's perfectly normal to run around half naked :D (*eye-roll*)
Could you maybe do a video about flattering elegant fashion for taller women upwards from 1,80m and over??
I'd absolutely post that on my IG-account then which might lead to some tall elegant ladies being drawn to your channel like I have been as well :)
Anyways, Doll! Keep up the good work@ ♡

Thank you from Canada where it gets COLD!
yeah same am in canada too. omg am so scared of this year's winter my ears feel frozen already😄
You have a tremendous gift of communicating
Thanks for the video... invested in a nice coat a few years ago... it has mink collar and cuffs... and the material of the coat is wool and nylon and lined with fur...it was around $3m... did I spend too much for it...I really like and I get lots of compliments and looks...
I prefer a long cape for evening wear. It's elegant and dramatic.
This video was so helpful for coats this year! I would LOVE to see a video dedicated on classy and elegant casual wear. I struggle in this area the most.
Dang, Anna was making videos about 2021 must-haves in 2019. This woman is living in the future. The rest of you elegantladies™️ need to catch up!!
Anna, in prior videos you have had more example photos of ladies of colour. I don’t think it has been intentional for there to be fewer ladies of colour in this series. Please continue to show diverse images of beauty and elegance, it’s one of the reasons I subscribed to you. Thank you 💗
Thank you so much! I’ve been waiting for this type of video and was delighted to see the notification! I will look forward to the next part of the video! This Christmas I want to invest in a classy winter coat and you are right that we need to invest in quality that will last. 💕
I also wanted to say that I’ve recently started reading up on law of attraction after your last video. I feel so blessed to have discovered your YT channel. 💕
You're so elegant and gorgeous!! Goals!! ❤️❤️
There's a glow in your face....😍🤩 Perhaps...? I love that you're back with videos 😊👏
Glad I signed up for your videos .
I love to get dressed all the time
Seems like people now a days don’t get dressed at all .
You give basic advice everyone age can use
Hi, Anna
Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
I am so happy that you accepted my request. Please recommend few affordable & elegant looking coats .in that way everyone can avoid wasting money
Thank you so much for putting effort for making women more elegant 🤗😊
"Shop less and make more strategic purchases". Absolutely
"Shop less but make more clever purchases " NOTED!!😊👍
