  • Welcome to Tyrrell's Classic Workshop. A new series looking into Iain Tyrrell's classic car operation where he shares insights into the challenges and workings of preserving and restoring exotic classic cars. In this first episode, Iain looks at a spectacular Barn-Find Lamborghini Miura just sold at auction for £1.25M, and also a 1969 Ferrari with an unhappy V12 engine.

This is a great new channel - was following Harry’s rebuild and i’m so glad to see Ian and team encouraged by the great comments received there and going it alone. Subscribed.

Congrats with this first episode! This is the kind of detail / knowledge that is so hard to find. Definitely a very welcome addition next to Harry’s Garage videos.

Directed here by Mr Metcalfe and, as usual, he was spot on. Look forward to more videos

I’m in Australia and own a 1954 Arnolt Bristol, 1967 Iso Grifo, 1974 Iso Lele Sports, 2004 manual 360 Ferrari Modena and a 2004 Bentley Continental GT and nowhere on the internet has there been a channel that suits me like this one. I’m passionate about my cars and love that this channel has the same love and passion for the real cars of the past. Harry’s Garage is excellent and it’s great this channel has come from it’s connection with it. Look forward to many more episodes and I wish you every success.

Don't apologize for nerding out about the wipers! That level of expertise, and the craftsman's attention to detail is exactly why it's a pleasure to watch this video.

Iain Tyrrell's dulcet tones are what keeps bringing me back to this channel. Encyclopedic knowledge and his barely contained passion and admiration for the cars he works on is infectious. I like the great respect he has for the engineers and designers from this era. A joy to watch.

I had to come back to the beginning. I'm a sailor that loves all things boats, so when I saw Harry Metcalfs Mate tune a vintage Riva Speed Boat at the Riva factory in Italy, I was immediately interested in Iains content.

This is easily the best first video I have ever seen posted by any channel - Really great content and no superfluous music/intro etc - just pure automotive and engineering delight!
