- I realized only after the fact that I was inadvertently making the pain from my husband's infidelity worse. Could you be doing the same without realizing it? Learn what responses and actions you may be doing that are amplifying your pain.
Remember, you can't control another person. You can only control yourself. Another person's sins are not your sins.
Four years after I exposed the affair, I am still really stuck in trying to break free from the "victim" mentality, finding new purpose and moving forward in a positive, forgiving way. It doesn't help that I still am with my unfaithful wife and I am trying to reconnect, even though she is still very disconnected. So my heart continues to be broken daily (it was never healed,to begin with and is still in a very shattered place). That is where I am.

This is truly the best video that you have put out. I might even want to add it’s probably one of the best videos I’ve come across. I’m the betrayed spouse and I am amazed at the level of insight you have without what seems to be “ degree credentials” regarding infidelity/counseling. I’m not sure if after the terrible situation that you went through with your own husband what you sought for help. However whatever you did come across whether it was through someone else or on your own is truly truly impressive. I initially came across your site and thought you were interesting. This video now .... kudos to you. 👌
You are gorgeous and I have no idea why anyone would cheat on you. I was cheated on by my wife 3 times on one night stands (that I know of) and I can not get the image out of my head of her being with other people. She only told me about 1 when we broke up but I found out myself it was more (which I sort of knew anyway). I feel like it has scarred me for life and I will not let anyone get that close to me ever again and this was back in April 2018. Also I wish you would look into the camera, unless you are reading from a script off to the side.
I know what you mean man. I found out about it last night, she sent dirty pics and I can't get the texts out of my head.. its killing me man.
@@lando8913 I am sorry to hear that. It does get a little better with time. It has now been 3 years for me. The images are still in my head but they seem to bother me less. I have not been with anyone since that day. I guess I am not ready, or maybe I just don't want to. I hope you get through this! I am sure you will!

@@pt4387 I don't think I will man. Each day has only gotten worse. She's my everything and now I can't even talk to her. I've lost everything and life is meaningless now.
I understand the why, just can’t get over the how could you do this to me after we talked and always told each other it would never happen. Soul crusher event. Difficult to heal
Same here, made the same deal with her. When it happend, i confronted her. She could only say: trust no one! I am still hurting of the betrayal.😢
