I have a HOTA D6 Pro and want to charge my NiMh battery. When will the battery be fully charged? I dont know if it will stop charging like it does for LiPos
If I use the cycle function to re condition an NimH battery, will I be able to see information regarding the results of each cycle? I wish to determine the initial storage capacity , and document the increase, if any, from the cycles
I'd like to know this too. It seems like it would automatically display the first cycle and its discharge and charge capacities and allow you to scroll through the following cycles. Someone pls confirm!!!

Hi John, the tb6b can be used to cycle a nimh battery pack. However in your case, it may be difficult to cycle the 18V ryoibi battery without disassembly. In addition, it may not help bring back the battery pack to it's full capacity. We suggest replacing it with a new battery pack instead. Hi K LE, generally we recommend discharging your batteries at .2C and this varies depending on your battery pack and preferences. For this video we went for lower than .2C since we weren't in a rush to discharge the battery. The discharge rate is dependent on the the battery pack, since the battery pack's max discharge rate can be less than the Tb6b charger - we recommend double checking the manufacturer's specifications on the battery pack to decide. In this example, we wanted to discharge the 3,800mAh battery for around 6-7 hours, so chose 0.6A.
That's correct. If you're only charging and discharging a Nimh battery packs the balance cable is not needed. If you're unsure if your battery pack is lithium or nickel metal based, please check the manufacturer's manual or recommendations. Generally, Nimh and NiCd battery packs won't have a balance cable to connect.

Hi Hunter charge time will depend on the speed you choose to recharge the battery pack and how full your battery pack is. You can choose to recharge at 1C (2.4A for your battery pack which will take 1 hour), for a battery pack like yours recommend .25C ( 0.6A which can take up to 4 hours) but results in a better experience for your battery pack (less heat and fuller charge).
My battery has 4500mha with 7 cells is this equal to 7*4500mha or not? with a total load of 31500mha ? because it already has 8540 mha of load and does not stop

The charger should automatically stop charging once your battery pack is full, it'll beep to alert you. But since that doesn't seem to be the case for you, please stop charging and contact us at service@tenergy.com for more details.

Your formula is for 1C which is safe for nimh in theory but for most cases and for some users it is a safe practice that you charge nimh on .2-.5c.
