Just ordered this and was surprised to see, a RUclips video from the company when I looked up exactly how to use this before it gets here. Kudos on that.
how many times do I need to do this process? lets say I used a battery of 12v 250ah to connect an inverter of 2000watt and connected a battery charger of 1200 watts to charge smaller battery like a car battery. do I do the discharge every time I charge a car battery or I have to do this process regularly regardless if I use the battery of 12v 250ah?
Hi Nicholas, there isn't a specific calculation for discharging a lipo. As we mentioned in the video they generally don't need to be discharged as much. In addition, the TB6B charger has a max discharge rate up to 1A. If you have any additional questions please feel free to reach out to our team at service@tenergy.com and we would be happy to help.
Been looking for a video on how to discharge or storage charge a 1 cell Lipo battery. Of course you’re not able to balance them. Made a comment on Horizon Hobbies ultra micros. I hate 1s batteries. Because they don’t last long. They said because you have to discharge them and if not using them. Storage charge them. But don’t say how.. If anyone see’s this. Some advice would be appreciated!!!
No balancing a 1s. NO Storage charge on these 1s just use the 3.83 Per Cell storage volts for LIPO batts. To charge/discharge you have to connect to the octopus directly. You will still use the correct chemistry . The Amps discharge should be 10% of MAH, if 400Mah/0.4amps then. Mine does a good job but finishes with just a touch higher than what I store at Per Cell. No matter how, try for the 3.83 volt storage level.
Hi Grav, if you're unsure about the speed to charge your battery pack please consult with the battery pack manufacturer for the min-max charging rates. Please note, this charger has a max wattage of 50W, so for a 14.8V pack, you would only be able to charge up to 3A.

I am still confused as I have 3 different batteries with different Volts and mAh. Not to mention, the setting for balance doesn't save
Is there a calculation to use for figuring the amps to set while discharging a lipo? I have a 2S 7.4V 1800mah at the moment

@@TheTenergybattery What if I have a 4S 14.8V 1800mah and I want it to be discharged to 30% for air travel. how to stop the discharge at 30%?
10% of MAH If the unit can go the much for what you have connected. It AINT Fast.
The charger turns off and on again a couple seconds after I start it charging. What's up with that?

Is it okay to charge my 4s 6000 mah 14.8v battery at 6 Amps, after an hour it charged but it seems like a lot idk

when I try to save data on the chemistry of my battery, lipo isnt even an option?? why is that??
Hey did you figure it out?
I am getting erro Battery Vol Err cell connect
