    You probably already know this, but using your first cultist to make a symbiotic cult in Gryphon wood nets you a lot of income.

      The Elf Woods do yield a lot of cash. In my walkthrough I kept it contained to Drakenhoff for the first cultist, but that's to allow faster corruption and scheme completion. If income is the go, then woods are excellent!

      @@ElvenPlotArmourwhat I do with the corruption is actually just send a single lord army to drakenhoff, then use the Changing of the Ways for +25 Corruption for 5 turns. So I think better if we use the first cultist for symbiotic income.

    You are one of the only content providers to explain this new economy. I failed miserably in my first round - 50 turns in, only 2 armies, and I couldn't understand why I was only making 280g per turn ...I was building both the parasitic and symbiotic income buildings in every settlement - thinking it was like the prior Yin/Yang system...

      I get it mate, I was focused around parasitic cults and was wondering why I was so broke haha!

    Looking forward to the 10 turn guide, any idea of when you are going to post?

    I'd slightly disagree about high quality armies. 2 or 3 crap stacks running around setting up cults in minor settlements while going in different directions really speeds up the cult production. Toss the parasite spreader and parasite income and just move on, it likely won't get discovered and if it does who cares because thats probably 20 turns or more later and did its job.
    You'll never need to fight a real battle with a crap stack assuming you aren't impatient and use your campaign invisibility properly.

    What I want to know is how do you keep those already conguered enemies not beign a problem. Like if you leave Franz alone and even boost him with your symbiotic buildings he makse doomstacks and eventually stomps you. And if you have many enemies with same story (Franz, Ikit, chaos dwarfs, cathay, kislev and some more) with their doomstacks running around how do you survive all that? Or is the hide mechanic so op that you are safe? Can you explain that because I don't wanna go play him and get romppa stompped by Karl and Katarin later because I missed something.

    Thoughts about the changling being impossible to defeat?

    • @ElvenPlotArmour
      @ElvenPlotArmour  Год назад +8

      I think it's a none-issue. This campaign is far easier to botch than many others by not setting up your economy right. People quit campaigns because they aren't going well, not because they get wiped out completely lol. The issue would be if the game is too easy and there is no thought provoking challenge, which the Changeling Campaign does offer some fun and unique experiences that make you think outside the box. TLDR: it's a silly point as this campaign still can go badly and few players play any campaign that goes really bad.

    Is it just me or are nobody else's buildings producing Cult Supplies? I'm pretty sure I have the right buildings to make cult supplies but when I build them it still says I have 0 coming in. I don't have any mods activated either.

      They've been patching frequently at the moment - often creates new problems. I haven't seen this particular issue yet though, sorry!

    Great review, I only now had time to check everything. One thing I would like to add:
    - players may be easily uncertain whether 4% chance of auto expansion is any good, but to be honest in practice this feels much higher.
    I am uncertain but it feels that is the chance per neighboring settlement to create a cult, which makes it a bit more viable. Edit: and now you confirm it😂 yup, much better

      Thanks Susa! Now that I think about it, the late-game snowball did feel more exponential in the more open areas of the campaign too.
      I theorize they started with 5% but brought it down -1% to slow the snowball. I think it's in a sweet spot!
