Charlotte has always displayed repressive and oppressive behaviors toward the African Americans that reside here. From gentrification to its hideous employment practices. I arrived here in 1983 from NYC. Can't count the jobs I lost due to the slave/master mentality that exist in the working environment here. Charlotte really needs to get it's act together.
