It always is but that is why they always want ID meaning to them that they tricked you into their corrupt system and agree that it is ok that they rob you legally Yet that is still unlawful.
His victims should joint file a civil suit against him for the amount of money he collected from all tows made in breach of his court order. I don't see how they could lose, unless the judge is a friend of his.
I think the problem is that only one witness showed up. That made it impossible to establish a pattern of willful violation of a court order. If even 10% of his victims (who were victimized after the court order was issued) were to show up, it would have been far more difficult for the judge to not hold him in contempt.
This is Auto, theft and extortion hiding behind the guise of a business license doesn’t change that. A lot of tow companies are absolute criminal. Several have been sent to prison here in Las Vegas and in the Portland area where I grew up.
Confiscate ALL tow trucks, Fine the company $1Mil/Car/truck illegally towed to compensate owners, Delete business license, Put Owner in PRISON for 5 Years in a cell with Bubba!
Gee, whose he paying off? Funny how justice came immediately to some, and is constantly put off for others. It's who you know, and how much you pay them. He's a predator.
So many people here calling for justice just don't understand how this works. Unless you have enough money you can't buy justice. 8-1 this guy is paying people off.
LOL... this is just a criminal... he needs his business license removed, his tow trucks impounded and confiscated and be put in jail !!! Total criminal ...
A business gives more money to stay in business and will keep it going. 😂😂😂😂 The scam is played by all, everyone makes money off of this. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thy are holding my truck under Ingram towing asking for 6000$ working with a law splitting the profit nothing dose not take to much ability to see it clearly some things are hard to hide
They reported that the prosecutors were only able to produce a single victim in support of their claim of criminal contempt out of several hundred vehicles that were towed by the company (their open records request lists 706 tows). Rather obvious why the motion failed - insufficient evidence. The burden of proof was on the prosecutors but they were seeming either too lazy to find victims or unable to convince them to testify in court. They had the list of potential witnesses available so why weren't they able to get more victims/witnesses to come to court?
@@jormugand5578 He was told not to tow cars. He continued to tow cars. Even if there were zero witnesses that testified, there's still sufficient evidence that he kept doing it. The evidence in question? The vehicles.
@@JameyMcQueen Incorrect. The injunction PRACTICALLY prevented him from towing vehicles, it didn't completely prohibit him from towing vehicles. It required he get the property owner's permission (or a representative thereof) to get written permission/authorization BEFORE he towed each vehicle. Whether he actually did follow that restriction is questionable.
Is should be charged as auto theft and extortion.

Now you know why sometimes you hear about vigilante justice.
All these illegal tows reported to the police and they do nothing. The guy is a straight up car thief at this point. Put him behind bars.
His business license should be revoked immediately Upon those felony charges
He might just be an addict
@@johnengland8619 Who cares and what does it matter.
Shame on that judge for not protecting the public from this man who is breaking the court order.
The one person testifying is enough.
Simple actually, revoke his towing and business license and impound his trucks. This guy is a predator and a thief
Take his CDL

Can't tow from a jail cell.
So, how many of the victims were actually illegally parked?
This guy is a problem. he needs to be in jail. and prison.
Arrest and jail him. Confiscate his tow truck permanently.
The judge got the envelope from the defense attorney
If he was really preying on people, why didn't they pull his license to tow, period. Especially when he was doing this on private property.
Follow the money I guarantee they’ll be some payoff to the politicians for this.
Judge is in on it.
BTW, he is still out there doing this....
Judge seems to be continuously protecting this scheme - how much of a kickback are they paying the judge to keep this going?

he was allowed to tow, the court just ruled to charge half and to have permission from the PROPERTY owner, not the owner...
If he is convicted of a habitual felon, that used to be 15 yrs mandatory. Sounds like a real snake in the grass.
Theft is a crime.
His NEXT court??? Who thinks this guy cares what the court says? If he isn't in prison and his company shut down, he just won't care.
This is what happens when you privatise law enforcement.
So how many charges of grand theft auto will he face?
Zero. The number is zero.
People complain. The wrong way. Why is this guy the only one to show up to court?
Had a friend in Fayetteville that used to tow expensive cars whenever he was slow on business.
Prison is the answer, he's just a thief,
The guy runs a Car Theft Extortion Racket.

City & County must revoke his Business License and Bond's.
Confiscate his tow trucks.
This guy was literally praying on people!
Preying
You heard them they have to report all that to the police the cops and court apparently aren’t doing anything about it.
He was a priest?

exactly why the 2a is in our constitution.

Lock him up.
My semi truck got towed illegal
What infractions is he towing cars out of Apartment complexs???
Expired tags or inspection stickers, out-of-state license plates. It's disgusting, they're not cops and shouldn't have any right to remove cars.
If he doesn’t have permission to tow then remove his license. What’s the issue here? Is it so that he is towing cars illegal parked in a towing zone?
So many people here calling for justice just don't understand how this works. Unless you have enough money you can't buy justice. 8-1 this guy is paying people off.
Watching videos like this about angry, defiant scofflaws giving the finger to the public and the legal system is very troubling.
We have on here in Newaygo County, Michigan. He’s a big ripoff and totally over charges. Ambulance chaser.
Usually suspect
Why have people lost so much respect for our judicial system but then we still have Bill Barr crime for hire
Why would anyone expect to take that judge serious, when the judge doesn't even take his own rulings serious.
Evidently there is no castle doctrine in Charlotte.
What this guy is doing is GRAND THEFT AUTO!
With legislators ignoring subpoenas, why should this guy obey an injunction? New corrupt world we live in now.
Have never heard of a legally owned and operated tow service.
This is a predator. Hunting freely.
the judge got his 10%
He needs to visit a prison cell.

What was the conclusion
Amazing. The towing industry has an otherwise perfect reputation.
Gives honest, hard-working towing operators a a bad name.
And he is walking around WHY? put his ass in jail and it will stop GUARANTEE
Somebody in the police department has a bank account fatter than it should be.
