- Mecklenburg County leaders are scheduled to discuss some major developments around uptown Charlotte at Tuesday's commissioners meeting. The $600 million revitalization plan would bring much-needed affordable housing to the north side of uptown Charlotte, North Carolina.
Tuesday's meeting will discuss a revamping of almost two blocks of North Tryon Street, which is surrounded by 6th, 7th and College streets. Once completed, the project would include a 25-30 story tower complete with shops, restaurants and apartments. #WakeUpCLT #CLTNews #Charlotte
