- A $750 million mixed-use development project is making its way to the heart of Charlotte. It's going in between Uptown and South End, where Midnight Diner and Uptown Cabaret currently sit.

Yeah, I know, right?
Every building that goes up in Charlotte blocks somebody's view. The people living in these high rise condos and complaining about their view being blocked by this new building are living in buildings that blocked other people's view when the building they live in was built.
As a city matures it becomes less about the view and more about what is outside your front door. Charlotte is maturing and if you want a view you will have to move further out.
I'm openly weeping for these rich people losing their view.
If you want a view move to the beach or on top of a mountain.
Nah… the thing is.. is that they are becoming more of the middle of the city than they know it… the view will be waaaay better in 5 years… the difference will be the fact that they are more centralized then expected
