- FIRST DRIVE: The Crosstrek gets a major redesign from Subaru. The Cross Trek competes with the Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Hyundai Kona, Honda HR-V and Toyota Corolla Cross. On the outside you will discover new 17in wheels, aluminum fenders, grill and roof rack. On the inside there is an 11.6in infotainment screen, cloth seats and heated seats. Under the hood is a 2.0L flat-4 that produces 152HP. Is the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek a better SUV to buy than a Toyota Corolla Cross?

In 2023 not sure why companies aren’t using LED lights all around, the price of them has really come down. Another great video from Joe and Lori!
yeah Subaru does that a lot, they use LEDs for almost everything besides the turn signals
I prefer the halogen headlight lights because we can always add HID kits or color choices to replace them. LEDs have a distance limitation and a noticeable blue hue in the white light.
Subaru has always been known to cut corners in a lot of areas; head gaskets, turn signal bulbs, plastic everywhere, no true premium feel, even with the Touring XT trims
@@GDColbert my 2020 Forester Touring is actually more luxurious, and feature packed than any other comparable Crossover even the more expensive ones. I have to disagree comletely. I mean turning headlights standard is amazing, and soooo useful for night mountain drives.
@@eddi3401 a lot of manufacturers still do the full LED assembly, except for the turn signals. I have NO clue why
I just bought a ‘23 6mt Premium Crosstrek. I’ve always been a manual trans guy. I find it makes much better use of available horsepower and is a lot more fun to drive than a CVT. I bought the ‘23 instead of waiting for the ‘24 when I found out Subaru discontinued the manual trans option for ‘24.
That is so awesome Eric. You are so very right about the manual.
If they had offered the manual with the 2.5 L engine I would have bought that in a heart beat. But alas the stronger engine was more important to me.
I also bought a crosstrek premium last summer. You just saved yourself a bunch of money because the subtraction of the eyesight in CVT transmission can save you at least $7,500.
Be sure to ride the clutch and lug the engine. Cheers.
In which country are they offering the manual transmission? They droped it in Canada...
Why is everyone showing them in the desert? Why not in the woods and muddy terrain which most people will actually use them in
Just bought my first brand new car of the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek Premium and I love it so much
My 2013 Crosstrek has 160,000 miles on it, and it has never gotten close to the EPA sticker even when new, more like 21 mpg around town. (My 2006 Audi A3 always has always gotten 32 MPG plus so I know it isn't my driving style.) When I bought the Crosstrek, there was no shortage of other buyers complaining about the mileage also. Those comments miraculously disappeared. I'm looking at a Cross Hybrid as it literally gets double the mileage and I've never read anything bad about the EPA mileage on a Toyota vehicle.
I work at a Subaru dealership and the new crosstrek looks so pretty even the new Outback definitely Subaru does amazing
I have a 23 Sport, and i just love the mix of analog and tech. To me this new one is too much focused on screens, i just don’t like it. But great review, keep it up guys
its 2023 At this point led's are a must on all vehicles. Having halogen lights makes newer cars look outdated sounds weird but I wouldn't purchase a car with out one unless its a classic. Great review as always!!
The new center stack and cupholder area and gearshift is exactly what they need to do with the outback. I drive in ascent now but one of my biggest dislikes about my 2020 outback was the lack of usable storage space upfront, and how the cupholders hit my thighs at 6 foot seven. I’ve written to Subaru so hopefully this is a sign that they’re listening to their customers. All they need to do when the outback is raise The center screen, which will then allow for more meaningful storage in the better gearshift area with less shiny black plastic. Great review!
It's too bad they discontinued the manual transmission, and I don't like the 11" screen. I like analog displays, controls, switches and buttons, and I like a manual transmission. Still, it looks like they made some improvements. I have a 2023 Crosstrek with a manual transmission that I plan to keep for a while.
Trust me I know how you feel.
Subaru discontinued the manual transmission because no one was buying a Crosstrek with a manual - didn't make economic sense to keep offering it. The 11" screen has been getting better through updates, but I agree with you that some of the controls should return to physical switches and dials in the next generation.
In the base Convenience trim, they have split the scene in two and the analog controls in between two screens.
Agreed! I need to replace my old manual Crosstrek and tried to find a 2023 manual model last year, when I found out that the 2024 models are all automatic, but no dice. They were selling off the boat like hotcakes before they even made it to the US. The dealers here started buying up all the 1-2 year old used manual Crosstreks and selling them at MSRP, too. Insanity!
The only reason I have a Subaru was the manual transmission. I am now looking at other brands. Really too bad.
I have a 2014 XV Crosstrek with a CVT. CVT works fine no problems.
Hi Joe, thanks for this video! You title this as a comparison between the Subaru Crosstrek and a Toyota Corolla Cross but you didn't make a conclusion. Do you have another video that addresses the two compared?
Eliminating all the physical controls and incorporating them into the gigantic touch screen is cost cutting at its worst. Reaction time is slower using touch screens and is a safety issue since you need to take your eyes of the road longer than using physical controls. What was Subaru thinking in making such a dangerous move?
I know. I hate that
Yeah, I don't like that either. I used to work in production and using the touch screen is not saving much money. The physical switches etc are dirt cheap to make in large numbers.
I love it Joe and Lori and Steve and keep up the work and I love the video 👏 👍
You are the best Dominic.
Love my 2023 Crosstrek Limited! It is fully loaded even with more features than what the Limited gets in the US! I am very pleased with its performance and comfort, mileage as advertised and truly fun to drive! I prefer the Crosstrek to my wife’s 2022 Honda Cr-V Touring which has a 1.5 L turbo engine and 190 hp.
I have a 19 crosstrek, 2.0 ain’t bad. 2.5 was a slightly better but we want a turbo. That’s the only zonk I’ll give the crosstrek is no turbo option
Subaru may never make you happy!
Long time Subaru owner and lover here, but I worry about carbon buildup with gdi engines. Toyota uses both direct and port injection to fight this problem.
You're right to worry, but the manufacturers gamed it out and figured most people won't own the car long enough to notice. That third or fourth buyer may notice but that's not Subaru's problem. In the mean time, Sea Foam is your friend.
I have a Toyota Koba 2018 build and have ongoing issues with carbon build up. Such a lemon. Japan admitted to the issue!!!!
The moonroof and powered chair is an add on package...it doesn't come standard with the Premium
Easy there Joe. We understand you have a pet peeve over the incandescent light bulbs for turn signals, but to give it the magic finger? Love your reviews and Lori's great work with the camera. By the way...do you pay your own way to these events?
Thank you for the love on Subaru!
You crack me up man! For some we do.
I think subaru customers like physical button more than controlling everything on that vertical screen
I have the 2021 limited Crosstrek. I like it for visibility, excellent mileage and X mode. What I don't like is no rear vents, no heated rear seats unlike my limited 2018 legacy Keep in mind that the Canadian limited trim has a heated steering wheel.
However Subaru should release a crosstrek hybrid with Toyota E-CVT transmission.. I don't like the fact a "lifetime" CVT fluid needs to be replaced every 30000 miles
Joe, can you find a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander Ralliart to review? I know the engine in 2023 is the same I think with plans of 2024 to be more powerful, but the cosmetics look pretty cool for 2023.
if they put the 2.4T engine in here from the ascent/outback/legacy this would instantly become the best vehicle in their current lineup. would be like a new wrx wagon that can offroad. I have a 2014 crosstrek and its really good other than the fact it is very very slow and its sad to see that they still offer that little power on a car 10 years newer.
Just get a WRX! No brainer IMO...
True 152 hp is lame. They should offer the Crosstrek with at least some grunt in it, say adding at least a 50 HP electric engine making it a hybrid. The WRX isn't the same car, rather ugly compared to the Crosstrek imho and you loose that higher ride many of us want.
Love my 2021 Crosstrek Sport. Fun to drive and very capable. Still a big zonk I see even in 2024 is def the door pockets. They can easily make more storage/space in these models. Love they have the bigger screens coming in. Wish the new 2024 Sport models had the front facing camera in them, not sure why they do in Canada and not here in the US. It was the same for the 2021 sport model too
The front camera is gone up here now too. And our nicely equipped Outdoors model is now an Onyx so more Sport less outdoorsy featured. Real bummer. But a Wilderness model is suppised to be coming. 2024 roof rails look goofy but the rest seems okay.
I can understand why people would want a Corolla cross. It’s reliable, frugal and less costly than its better equipped and moderately bigger cousin, the Rav 4. BUT I couldn’t help notice how blend and sterile the Corolla cross is, in terms of performance and it’s cabin. Just couldn’t get over the fact that I have to sacrifice my expectations for a rather unexciting and uninspiring Toyota.
Now Subaru is a different beast altogether. Great performance, excellent instrumentation and spacious well appointed cabin.
The only thing making me hesitant about buying one is the well documented reliability issues (CVT, oil burn, oil leaks, blown gaskets, wheel bearings, etc).
Hopefully, they would have addressed all that.
Looking at 3 2024 crossovers to replace my current Hyundai Kona. Your detailed review of the 2024 Crosstrek put this vehicle on my radar now for further (on site) investigations. Also looking at the 2024 Corolla Cross but Hybrid XSE version and will compare that model to the Crosstrek Limited when I visit both dealers in a couple of months. Also considering the redesigned Kona Limited (driving a 2022 Kona now) so for me, it's which model will become available when I need it, and how much will the final cost be, without dealer markups to ruin the sale.
You’re spoiling us with all these reviews, Joe!
Thanks David! I really appreciate it.
I wish they would do either of these things to make this car stand out. 1. Give it a turbo and make it more fun to drive on the road! Make an actual sport model with a manual transmission, a turbo'd engine, stiffer suspension and lower it a little to make it a fun sporty hatchback. Or 2. Give us an offroaders option with offroad tires, offroad suspension, skid plates and a better transmission that that garbage cvt.
I had a 2013 Impreza I beat the snot out of... and aside from normal maintenance that car did me for 175,000 mi for me, and save for tires, brakes, a radiator, and a couple of coil packs, it's still running strong. Waiting for my 2024 Crosstrek limited to come in
Drove Toyotas all my life. This time SUBARU. Subie LOVE 💙
I just purchased one of the last 2023 manual transmission convenience base models, dream car and fantastic price 25k Canadian, around 21-22 US, and none of the higher models or 2024 have anything to offer that I care for, except the rear black cladding bumper on the 2024, shocked that isn’t on earlier year models as other Subarus have it…
I am so jealous! Ordered a manual 23 Touring in Alberta in October and was told in December my order was cancelled and I'd have to order a 24 cvt. So I'm very very disappointed.
@@dgh5760 same happened to me, but I ordered last July, and they canceled last December, and then a few 2023s showed up in 2023 lol…. If you’re still on the wait list there’s a small chance a 2023 still shows up, but we are late in the game, as the 2024s are starting to come in, good luck.
@@TheNewMediaoftheDawn I'm not holding my breath. The dealer keeps trying to sell me older model manuals with well-driven mileage if they trickle in for the 2024 new price or higher which is ridiculous. Very very few manuals are available here so they are hiking the price on the few that do appear. I haven't even driven a 2023 or 2024 so don't even know how it will feel. Drove a 2019 manual but again they wanted more than a new model. Supply low and demand high so they are getting away with it.
@@dgh5760 yup, it’s brutal out there, in the same city I had one dealership who wanted 4-6K above asking price, and one who gave me asking price, all the con artists come out to play when there’s low supply…. Shop around, if you’re in a small market there’s no much you can do…
Subaru did a great job updating the Crosstrek while keeping what people like, but I think I would scrimp and save and find a way to step up to a Forester. It's not that much more. Meanwhile, what's with Subaru and water temp guages? They give you oil temp but the the water temp just says "normal". Their other models are the same way. Weird!
I think you are so very right!
That’s just for the center screen readout option, a traditional temperature gauge is in the tach. Better than the Forester which doesn’t have a temp gauge on the gauge cluster.
17:31 just love it when manufactures can not use a different part for the steering column when a push to start is used ILO a key. They just cap it.
I can totally understand where you are coming from.
The 2023 Crosstrek premium from Subaru website starts at 25k and you said 29k for a 2024 premium. I do not see $4,000 dollars in improvements. Am I missing something?
A bit. Note the 23s listed price is manual, you need to add 1350 for the CVT. Also, destination fee (~1300). Reviewer price of 29k does seem high compared to other sites that list it at like 27.4k (maybe the review car is 29k with options).
I wish the whole lineup was made in Japan, or at least I wish the higher trims were made in Japan. For such a large vehicle, the 2.5L really should be the standard engine and we really need a turbo option and a strong hybrid option. With the Crosstrek being Subaru's best selling car, I don't think these things are too much to ask for. Oh and for the love of God bring back physical climate controls Subaru.
Very good points!
I thought of that too. I love the look of the 2024 Crosstrek and will definitely be considering it. Sticking with the Premium though since I know that will be Japan built.
I believe the Canada bound 2024 Crosstrek and Impreza, are made in Japan.
It is too much to ask for based on the price. The Forester is only $1k more which is part of the problem. Idk if the base engine needs to be the more powerful one. The base is still faster than anything else in the class. They’re also not going to make faster versions since better handling versions already exist in impreza and wrx form. If you want truly good handling you want to be lower to the ground not raised in a crossover.
The sport for 2024 is my pick, very sad it is made in In. My least favorite state, may change my mind.
"Thomas Edison light bulb" turn signal lol love your work, bro!
great video. I have a 2021 ltd Crosstrek. Love it. I still have not taking it out on a trail like this. Can you share a link to this place? its this a park, is there are fee to get in and do you need a permit. Please let me know. I got to PS a lot and I never heard of this trail. thanks so much for your wonderful vids. As for the must haves for a vehicle in this price range are LED turn signals. Come on Subaru. Every car in this class and price includes them. Also I saw someone post this, it really needs to have a 2.5 turbo. Overall great vehicle.
That red is gorgeous, I can just do without all that flat black cladding.Joe and Lori, U guys are killing it. So did u guys decide to move the Q and A to the 16th?
I love the red and black accents/cladding
@Roller Coaster Line Productions I mean yeah it looks good and I know why the cladding is there I just wish maybe Subaru could maybe reshape them and not make them look so.......I guess.....noticeable. 🤔
@@DarkJediChrisG-1425 if it's too high on the fenders I dont like it. More color the better
@@mattmekhaeil me too
The Twinkie tray under the infotainment system is now a wireless charging pad, no? Unless that feature is only in the higher trims?
Hows the road and wind noise in these crosstreks?...i like a car with a nice quiet cabin ride
I would choose an ICE Subaru Crosstrek over an ICE Toyota Corolla Cross any day, but would also choose an ICE Mazda CX-30 over either of those (more refined, mature looking, better driving dynamics, Nice looking 100% LED lights, & no crappy belt/chain design CVT). Love my 2022 CX-30 CE & zero problems/issues after 17 months thus far (unlike my awful 2020 J-VIN Toyota Corolla Sedan experience for 2 years).
Did you get 2023 model?
i have wish/recommendation for Raitis as their viewers grows to rest of the world - please convert your US metrics to Europe friendly even as only numbers on the bottom screen pls /pounds to kg ; cubic feet to liters ; miles to km... ETC/
Love your vidoes man! Love the commentary. Tarantula burger and twinkie storage spaces. You are speaking my language lol. I was the proud owner of a 2021 Crosstrek Outdoor and I traded her in for my current 2023 Crosstrek PHEV, which is just fantastic. It is great to see the 2024 getting so much great coverage as these are such amazing vehicles.
A Wilderness Edition would sound great. But only if it had/has a stronger engine
Corolla Cross has 169 hp Mr Twinkie! I think 169 beats 152.
I want a real cam carrier seal gasket instead of janky RTV/Fujibond or whatever. I want 4DS direct plus port injection engine technology to avoid upper engine carbon build up. And, I don't want to have to win the engine lottery to get one that doesn't burn oil. Those three things would make the decision a much easier one.
I drove previous sports if say sports want lower gear ratio on 1st gear, kind of do not matched feeling of pressures as other gears all mimic simulated shifting all good
in 2012 the redesigned impreza brought new soft materials to the dashboard and upper door trim. I dont like the departure from that to hard plastic especially since this is supposed to be a new improved model. I have a 2015 impreza premium and to me the 2012 to 2016 impreza was the best impreza ever made. The dash was beautiful with a smooth flowing design.
I also dont like how big the infotainment systems are getting. Does anyone really need all that electronic gear to drive? People already spend too much time on phones and now screens in cars too is more than anyone needs. Getting rid of physical buttons to control air flow is pointless and a hassle. I may be old fashioned at age 39 but I still like having a cd player. I might have to buy the outgoing impreza model and store it in my garage for once my 2015 is too high mileage before all the good old days are gone for good on brand new cars.
Subaru should build some good seat belt latches for dogs too since it markets dog friendliness. I have my beloved shepherd dog that rides in my 2015 subaru hatch back and I wish there was a seat belt latch for him.
If possible subaru should make the cvt transmission fluid as easy to change as the engine oil.
Subaru should also make the glove box key independent of the engine start key so when the car is at a dealer for service the technicians cant be going through your belongings.
My message to subaru is I love my 2015 subaru please dont change the cars so radically. Loyal brand owners don't want big changes. My favorite feature on my 2015 impreza is the click adjust headrest. It is a feature most expensive cars dont have that is great for my neck comfort. I also think the 2012 to 2015 had great interior styling and high quality materials. Other strong points on the impreza I own are a gas tank of over 500 miles of range and very good fuel economy.
One flaw I noticed on my car that is not a common complaint is that in cold weather I can feel a light bit of cold air flow in from the door handle aperture. Better insulation or sealing would be good.
Double review Monday has a nice ring to it. It’s a beautiful suv for sure and I might say this one is a little better in my opinion.
Thank you both for this review. The Sport trim is on my top 2 list.
That is so awesome Brian! You are so very welcome!
I noticed there was no insulation under the hood, which helps with engine noise but also protects the finish from engine heat.
Many vehicles are getting rid of those.
Too much heat under the hood. If it can't escape it will ruin sensitive electrical components, and soy covered electrical wiring used in modern cars...Rats love to chew on them. Must feed rats to be environmentally friendly.
I need some of those rattlesnake tacos 😅 great review!
I will send you some!
I recently traded my 2021 touring Outback XT for a 2023 Genesis GV70.. main gripes were the CVT whine and jerky performance under spirited acceleration.. the 11 inch display had moments where it rebooted without a definite trigger and issues moving iPhone in and out of car when on calls. The Harmon Kardon amplifier also failed after i months .. otherwise I was ok with Subaru .. the crosstrek also needs ventilated seats for hot climates
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this one Merv!
My '22 Outback Limited has been flawless over the 19 months we've owned it.
Screen is a deal breaker for me. I will keep my 2018. I like physical buttons
No pocket on the driver seat and "a perfect 60/40 split of the rear seat" What is that? Not Subaru beeing economical but rather stupid. 60/40 is cheapest standard in any cheap car. For that money I want 40/20/40 or at least a ski hatch. And the seats sure doesn't fold flat! Is this a commercial?
That's what I am going to be saying 8 to 10 years from now about my 24 when automakers do away with the screen and it's a wireless brain link to control the vehicle--and us...😅
2023 crosstrek looks better. Great review Joe
I am so glad that you think so!
Nah this looks sharper.
I agree, both inside and out. They've rather messed up the styling.
You always skip blind spot features ? Does this Trim have it ? Please mention in your car reviews for a lot of people it is very important safety feature . Thank you Michael
If I lived in extreme snow climate I would definitely consider a Subaru, otherwise no chance due to sluggish engines and CVTs.
Your ignorance of the Subaru product line is showing. An Outback XT will slap down all of your concerns.
@@eskieman3948 Still has a CVT lol.
The rear AC vent was missed again!
The first thing that jumped out to me was how difficult it will be to level out anything attached to the roof rails. The nose of whatever you put up there will be pointing up. That will have to affect fuel efficiency.
Stack bricks fore and aft as needed.
Yeah that might be a deal breaker as I'd be throwing a roof cargo box up there. I wonder if they have some sort of taller connecting hardware in the rear.
Yes, it’s better and you will actually be able to pick these up at msrp as Subaru is good at keeping up with stock unlike Toyota. Better looking and faster.
I hate the hood. I mean the look is fine. But where it opens. I wish they would use thee front edge instead of the line. Idk. Would look better to me. But lots of cars have these and other weird lines/openings ..
The Boxer has it's plusses and minuses. The CVT works well, without fear. But my friend in the mountains of BC absolutely will tell you that its engine really doesn't cope well in the mountain freeways at all. Aside from that, he reports it's great and durable.
Thanks for sharing your friend's awesome experience.
also the stop/start is felt a lot more BECAUSE of the Boxer engines piston movement compared to the standard engine...But the handling improvement is worth it!
@@uncledamfee2347 You can turn off the Stop/Start manually, or, for a reasonable price, Autostop Eliminators makes a device that allows you to turn off Stop/Start and keep it of as long as you want.

I like the bold look, a great step in the right direction.
I’ve had my 2020 limited for 3 years. Such a great car.
Absolutely critical to balance the tanginess of the tarantula.
Hey Joe, I enjoy watching your car reviews and I don't really mind the gloss black on the fenders on certain vehicles.
Thanks for showing us the car from the outside while driving around. Very informative as always.
The Cross Trek needs the rear AC vents for those hot days right where you are Paul. Your test drive there reminds me of real life Forza Horizon 3 in Australia outback pun intended as that is another Subaru model.
I bought a 2022 premium crosstrex. The only thing I don't like is the paddles on the steering wheel it should be on the shifter as for the 2023, I wouldn't like the electric parking break
I'm sure you realize that you misspoke when comparing cargo space to the Corolla Cross with 26.5 cu feet, Obviously the Cross beats Crosstrek's 20.8 not 19.9 like you said.
how reliable long term do you feel about these CVT's? Does anyone have any experience with these CVT's long term? Long term to me is double that of the factory warranty so about ten years at least. 2 of my cars are 23 yrs old and on their original trans, only done fluid maintenance on them and they're fine today. Another one is 15 years old and have done just fine.
I ask because I keep seeing comments about how bad these cone and belt cvt's are, but I was hoping to find someone who actually has had them for long enough to tell me personal experience.
I know RAv's are a little different with the ecvt that are mechanically driven that have had no issues, but I'm cross shopping possible Foresters, Rav's, Crosstreks, etc.
belt/chain CVT's are engineered to last about as long as an extended power-train warranty (100K miles), but can last shorter or longer than that depending on how they are driven & whether or not you change the transmission fluid every 36K miles. They do tend to have more issues with random premature failure though compared to either manual or something like the modernized "SkyActiv" geared 6-AT that Mazda uses in all their vehicles instead of CVTs. So, roll the dice.
Not sure how much help this is, but I have a 2009 Nissan Altima with a CVT and it’s still going strong. I do feel like CVTs can be somewhat of a gamble but the technology has been out for so long, it’s bound to be at least comparably reliable as a VVT.
@@thekatiea6388 I appreciate the feedback.
Raiti! You’re the man, dude!
What is the premium trim in Canada? We have - Convenience Base, Touring, Onyx, Limited. Which one is comparable to the US Premium trim?
How does the cabin noise compare between the Crosstrek 2.5 liter and the Corolla cross hybrid?
I can see me doing the grocery shopping in one of these.
I'm a big boy too, I'm definitely getting this than the planned Mazda CX-30 I was originally going to get.
Excellent Job Joe & Lori 👍🍻
If Subaru had a mild hybrid Crosstrek, the extra HP and toque wold give improved performancesnd better Mpg. They'd really corner the market.
I was never really found of Subaru styling but I like the 2024 crosstrek.
Am I the only Subaru lover out there missing the upper dash info area? There isn’t eniugh in the new models larger screen imho. Not as easily seen either?? Pretty goofy looking cupholder config too. Always hard to tell until we are immersed in them fior a year or so but what Subaru had was dialed in with dials lets hope the giant screens are as good. 🙏🏻🤞🏻
I like that too, but I think it's a good move to merge them into a single bigger screen which is less blocking to the driver's view. The newer 11 inch big screen feel more futuristic to me.😂
I have a 2020 Crosstrek limited in pure red.
After this review I gotta level up!
I am glad that you are digging this one Ron!
Rattlesnake tacos. We love you Joe.
With backseat down can you fit a 6 foot long bookcase box in it close the hatch ? It’d be a plus for me
No manual transmission option, I am not buying one. I am really scared with CVT. I would probably going for a vehicle with automatic transmission.
Still don’t understand why in 2023 these companies don’t make these type of cars with standard hybrid power trains? I mean this car could easily get 40 mpg combined and the technology is there where it’s completely reliable and relatively low cost…and it provides quite a bit more horsepower!
I agreed and liked your opinion. In my guess, the hybrid car cost more money to maintain and batteries price getting higher and higher because of so many electric cars outside
Agree… the RAV4 is making it happen
Do roof rails cause wind road noise?
A tad.
I feel like this version is really lacking in the back seat department, a lot of other competitors have better back seat amenities
You may be right for sure.
Such as?
Waiting for the review of the 2024 Honda Crosstour!
Can you compare the hybrid versions of both cars. I’m literally trying to decide between these two 😅
As always great review sir! 🍻🍻.. i have always wondered though why they wont put heated steering wheel on these babies here unlike in Canada.. i guess "nice to have but not necessary?" type of deal.. hehehe..
Crosstrek is so small and flickable (in the small SUV sense), and that’s with the 2.0 litre, which is fine for one or two people. The 2.5 must be a game changer?
When will it come to Thailand?
No sound insulation mat under the hood?
Same with my 2023 Corolla SE, Im so pissed! My spouses 2024 Impreza RS has it!
Interesting. My Limited comes with insulation under the hood.
No slippin', just grippin'! 👍😁
Heck yeah man!
I’m wanting to pull the trigger on a subcompact crossover this summer. It’s going to be a tough choice between this and the Mazda CX-30 for me
Get the Mazda. I got the CX-30 and it’s amazing
Mazda
I would do the cx50
Mazda fails when it comes to capacity in the rear and has HUGE blind spots. You can’t see much through the rear mirror.
I was like everyone in these responses: but I was choosing between 2024 subaru premium cross trek vs Mazda Cx-30 both tests drive were great but what made me go to choose the cross trek over the Cx-30 was price 🎉
So are the daytime running lights just the headlights?
Nope
Do they have a factory tow hitch?
So glad I bought a 2023 with a manual.
Good call for sure!
