I would recommend Ann Liang for YA academic rivals to lovers (she’s one of my fave if not my fave author of the year) - recs would be “i hope this doesn’t find you” and “if you can see the sun” has a bit of a fantasy realism aspect as well. I also love her debut book “this time it’s real” which is YA but not rivals to lovers.
I am currently reading this time it's real 😊. It is so good ❤.

A cute YA book that takes place over 24 hours that I'd recommend is The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith. It also touches on bitersweet family changes while growing up, divorce, etc. It's mostly set in London!

I just finished yours truly and just for the summer by Abby Jimenez and I absolutely loved them. Should have read part of your world first but I was more intrigued by yours truly's synopsis. Highly recommend these two!! I think I love her writing and stories
2 other books that take place in 24 hours are the Death-cast Adam silvera. Its YA and i recommend to read book 1 first and the the prequel.
So far June has been my favourite reading month for one reason only. I read Powerless by Lauren Roberts. Literally best book ever!
